  1. It's like Gringott's (10217) but much better and BIGGER! This could easily pass as a LEGO set, and I would for sure buy it. Awesome detailing and I love the style of the building!
  2. Superb details and I love the architechture Brilliant job
  3. Wow, incredible house - the spirit and atmosphere of it is tremendous, amongst the awesome details! Brilliant job!
  4. Fantastic job so far, can't wait to see more pictures and the finished job!
  5. Brilliant work, a nicely detailed exterior with a simple yet effective colour scheme. That logo is awesome!! The interior is brilliant - doesn't look too cramped on the 16x32 base. Great job.
  6. Excellent design frogstudio, the colour scheme is very effective. This reminds me a Train station I went to on holiday to Italy. Great work!
  7. Love the wall and roof details and the brilliant combination of Castle and Trains. Great job!
  8. What a well executed, ingenious idea! Brilliant work. Nice looking layout too!
  9. Pretty cool looking design, would like to see more angles though. Love the ingenious use of hair pieces for the buffers!
  10. Lovely design and nice work! I feel that some white could be introduced to contrast the red.
  11. I like the colour of the tanker, and the technique to build it is very good! Great job
  12. Medieval Market Village (10193) is a great example of Chinese plastic. The 2 cows, as nicely detailed as they are, are horrible. This can be confirmed by placing the 1x2 brown brick inside the "gap" in the cow. So colour difference, and also texture (e.g. shininess, smoothness, etc) are ways to tell.
  13. To add to "roamingstudio's" comment, I would sort the actual pieces into colour and size, and bag the different groups into zip-seal bags. For smaller LEGO sets/items, I use a large sized packet, with a bubble-wrap seal on the inside. Hope this helped
  14. Fantastic creation! I think that when LEGO do stairs, there should sometimes be some sort of carpet colour (depending on the furnishings inside the building itself), instead of the usual brown, black, or grey.
  15. Depends on which project I'm working on. On average however, probably 1 - 2 hours a day with "physical LEGO", and 2 - 3 hours a day on EuroBricks and other LEGO websites.
  16. I use a toothbrush (different of course ), and warm water, not too warm to avoid any deformities.
  17. Haha amazing prank! I wonder how much it would cost to buy that car?
  18. MMV and Modular Buildings for me are too stunning to take apart for pieces (I'm not a huge MOC'er ), so other than those, Creator houses and other buildings are your best bet. For example, 5766 Creator Log Cabin is great for pieces. Apart from that, it has to be PaB.
  19. For me, Amazon tend to have the cheapest prices and very quick, free delivery. However they do not see every set; LEGO Exclusives I of course buy from at S@H. A trick I use is to search the set you would like to buy in Google Shopping, and put the Search Filter in at Price: Low to High. The first reliable retailer you see will be the cheapest you can get that set. Hope I helped
  20. What a brilliant MOC of such a wonderful place in the world! Fantastic work!
  21. I have 2 main frustrations: - Lack of money (I'm sure most people come across this) - Lack of space. I do not have sufficient space in my house to create a big town layout
  22. 17118 is too long for a set number Perhaps in 20 years there might be a LEGO 17118? Hopefully an Art Deco style Modular Building. However when reversed, set 8117-1 is this: I'm not sure what to make of this...
  23. Hey, like your Youtube videos :)

  24. I'm not particularly interested in the Police set (as if there's not enough of those around at the moment ), the Safari set sounds remotely interesting, but the Summer House is intriguing. If it is a smaller house like the Log Cabin, I'm hoping a second, larger house will be released in the summer wave. I would love to see something along the lines of the awesome 4954 Model Town House
  25. This made me laugh (in a good way), as did the actual scene. Good job, and good luck in the contest!
