  1. Fantastic MOC, love the building techniques and the modern design to the store. The only slight criticism I would give is that to make the wonderful guitar on the front of the store stand out more, I would remove those grey grill pieces behind it.
  2. Brilliant review definitely getting this.
  3. Amazon.co.uk have some sales on at the moment: 3179 Repair Truck £5.99 (40% off): Repair Truck Deal 3182 Airport £52.39 (36% off): Airport Deal 4645 Harbour £51.05 (29% off): Harbour Deal 4644 Marina £28.99 (31% off): Marina Deal 5770 Lighthouse Island £28.39 (31% off): Lighthouse Island Deal 5771 Hillside House £36.14 (28% off): Hillside House Deal And finally the legendary 6754 Family Home is available for £54.99 with free shipping, not really a deal but a good price for a d/c set. Family Home
  4. This thread has gone quiet for a month now... Any new updates to inform us?
  5. Apparently 10223 Kingdom's Joust is to be similar to MMV. I was thinking if the Town Hall would have an triangular roof (which would give the building the look of a house that we could draw when we were 3 years old), or following in the same style as the previous modulars, with a more "square" design...
  6. I went into the London LEGO store, and all exclusives were in stock (inc. Medieval Market Village), although no Grand Emporium... As for this review, awesome set, however none of the pictures seem to work for me
  7. I was about to get the City Cargo train, and then I saw this beauty!
  8. Great review, this will look very nice together with my mirrored marina and the 2 boat sets . $40 is an absolute steal, however I live in the Uk where it is a very odd £41...? I hate that some countries get LEGO much cheaper than others. This is definitely going on my shopping list!
  9. I wish I had a lego city like that! Loving the updates, especially the pond. Where did you get the transparent blue water plate for the pond??
  10. I went into London to buy the city Marina a couple of days ago, and even the likes of Emerald Night and Medieval Market Village were in stock. However, the only exclusive not in stock was the Grand Emporium... EDIT: Sorry screwed up the reply to a quote . Anyway, awesome city "TYB", but I hate to see some great sets not being shown on the table, especially the police station
  11. Thanks Grogall, they all look stunning together! Don't mind the height difference, however those lamps are horribly balanced out
  12. Grand Emporium, Pet Shop, Police Station, Marina, Lighthouse Island, HS House, and other small city sets equates to around £500 that is going to be spent. Not good news for my wallet 1 day to go!
  13. I am also excited about the Pet Shop, but have to get the Grand Emporium first before it runs away! Apparently it's to be d/c before Fire Brigade. Anyway, can't wait to see all the new creator, city, and of course the PS in your wonderful city! One question: where did you get that table, and how much was it? It's perfect for my needs. LEGO gets way to dusty on the floor...
  14. Awesome review! What is the height of the Hillside House (Primary Build)?
  15. I think you should place the hillside house and perhaps some of the other Creator houses towards the sea. It's more peaceful and IMO a more suitable place for beautiful houses like that. Then maybe the garage and service station away from the "peaceful area"? Those places tend to be kinda noisy. Anyway, awesome city, looking forward to forthcoming updates!
  16. I totally feel for you, however I don't think it's LEGO's fault, why would they do something like that for no reason? Perhaps it's something to do with tax and revenue, or the economic state of the country... I'm not sure...
  17. I doubt they'll make a bank modular because of the new city one. I'm very much hoping for a either a modular post office, town hall, or hospital. Or at least a city hospital.
  18. I would love a monorail; I tried to use 7898 Passenger Train as a monorail.... It didn't go well 7939 will be discontinued in the near future.
  19. I know, but for 2032 pieces £120 is too steep. And I would also like to point out that all Modulars with the exception of MS have been $150 in America. If 10218 is $150 in the U.S, it should be £90 - 100. Plus, with all the new city harbour sets, creator lighthouse and hill house, and still the Grand Emporium to buy, cash is scarce in my wallet
  20. £120? WHY????? Green Grocer was £100, and this has a good 300 less pieces, and yet it costs £20 more?
  21. 5771 Hillside House is now available for pre-order at Amazon.co.uk for £49.99! It has 1 minifigure and 714 pieces. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004OT2QM8/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000HHDQAW&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=11EV7GY7RYPX71KVBGGZ
