  1. I’m still trying to get ahold of that elephant body! They changed it from $0 to an actual price, but it’s still been out of stock. Tried calling a few times too, but no dice.
  2. This is a great resource I didn’t know about, thank you! Good thing I grabbed these early. Thank you!
  3. Does anyone have a list of 2021 sets that have gone EOL already? There’s so much out of stock on S@H and Amazon that it’s hard to tell what’s caused by supply chain issues and what is gone for good. There are a few Seabound and Legacy sets I still would like to purchase if possible.
  4. LEGO knows how much adult fans want the goat to return. I think it’s only a matter of time before they bring it back into circulation (with a new mould). After all, they justify many other animals every year. If there really is a 90th anniversary CMF coming, then maybe it will celebrate LEGO’s history and include lots of fun fan service, including goats! Wishful thinking, I know.
  5. Interestingly, Promobricks mentioned the big golden dragon (belonging to Lloyd) will have multiple heads. Maybe a golden Ultra Dragon? That would be interesting both set-wise and plot-wise.
  6. I believe Tommy said on Twitter that while the winter 2022 sets weren’t created to appear in the show, they have worked some of them into future episodes. Summer 2022 should tie directly to the next season of the show.
  7. Spinners also leaked. I like the figures, especially Lloyd. It’s a shame that they didn’t include a similar outfit for Zane, Cole, and Nya in the training grounds. It would have been the perfect opportunity!
  8. Considering this wave is being treated as the main line, I get the feeling that this means Legacy will continue, perhaps in summer 2022. I think it would be a shame to drop Legacy entirely, considering how great it is for both new and old fans.
  9. I agree. Given that there are no exclusive prints or pieces, there’s no need for anybody to be upset. TLG is just doing something nice for their employees around the holidays, like many companies do.
  10. Has anyone heard anything about the adult elephant body? I’ve seen the head come into stock but the body is still listed at $0.00 and out of stock.
  11. I’m sure everyone here already has at least one copy, but Hagrid’s Hut is currently 50% off on Amazon in the US. Honestly Buckbeak alone feels worth that price.
  12. I don’t have a big issue with snakes continuing to be the focus, as long as we get other villains in between. What bothers me more is that some of the more recent figures feel uninspired. The Seabound snakes/eels were all very repetitive and didn’t feel nearly as vibrant as previous factions. And based on the rumors for the next wave, it seems like that’ll be the case again. I prefer the factions with a wider variety of named villains with some aspects of the minifigures to distinguish them, even if it’s only a few different prints.
  13. For anyone wondering, they didn’t end up revealing a game, but rather an Ideas contest to make a Ninjago-themed microgame. So the new sets won’t be based on this.
  14. For anyone in the US who missed out on the anniversary Brickheadz, they’re available for $30 now online. Not sure about the rest of the world.
  15. Looks like the new snake is now available in the US. Still waiting on those elephants though!
  16. Someone posted a picture of a Legacy 2 Zane torso on Instagram. I don’t recognize the account that posted it so I’m pretty skeptical. It sure would be nice if it turned out to be real though!
  17. Ever since the soft reboot, we’ve seen very few villain vehicles. In fact, the only notable one that comes to mind is the catamaran. That said, we’ve also gotten some great villain dragons and locations, much more than we got in the early days of Ninjago. I think the designers have settled into a pattern for each wave that doesn’t leave much room for villain vehicles. It’s a shame too, because early Ninjago relied heavily on them, and they really differed from wave to wave, keeping the new sets fresh every year.
  18. I was going to disagree with you, since in my opinion 2012 was the quintessential Ninjago year. However, looking back at the sets themselves, I can see why they aren’t super desirable now. Almost all of the ninja vehicles have been redone (either in idea or the exact vehicles themselves) and the newer versions are often better. If I were a new Ninjago fan, the only set I think still worth trying to get from that year purely for the build would be the Samurai X Mech. Everything else would be an easy pass. That said, I do still think 2012 was a very important and impressive year for Ninjago. At the time, the sets felt very fresh and were super flashy. I remember wanting nearly all of them. To this day, I think 2012 saw some of the best minifigures we’ve gotten, including the ZX and NRG ninja and of course the 17 unique Serpentine. Can you imagine if we got 17 uniquely printed/moulded antagonists in one year now? These days, we’re lucky to get more than 4 in a wave. 2012 also set the tone for Ninjago much better than 2011 did, which probably led to the theme’s success. Don’t get me wrong, I loved 2011, but TLG certainly got something right with the Rise of the Snakes waves. The emphasis on ninja vehicles and snake antagonists continues almost yearly now, surely due to immense popularity with the target audience. 2011 was a great ninja theme, but 2012 was a brand new theme that defined what we’ve come to expect from Ninjago.
  19. Not so much “not meant to come out” and more “illegal to post on YouTube regardless of air date.” As far as I understand, TLG can take down these videos whenever they’re posted because of copyright laws. Every view on YouTube is one less view CN and therefore LEGO can make money from.
  20. The thing I dislike about the new guard (and the figures using the same mould from SotFS) is the lack of printing on the head. It makes them look more like statues than characters. For the mummies I guess it kind of made sense, but unless these snakes are also reanimated then I don’t know why they can’t have printed eyes. My biggest gripe was with Aspheera, so at least the new Big Bad uses a new (printed) mould.
  21. Wow, surprised to see these this afternoon! Nobody asked, but here's my take on each of the new sets: 71753 (Fire Dragon): This looks like a solid dragon, although nothing super innovative here. I like the wing design. Shame that the minifigures are slightly disappointing, but I suppose that was expected. 71749 (4+ Bounty): Not much to say here, I'll definitely skip this one. Odd that they're sticking with Legacy 1 suits for the ninja here, would have been a good opportunity to get some more Legacy 3 suits. 71739 (USR): I agree with a lot of what's been said already that the squat appearance is a little shocking, but after getting over the initial differences it actually looks like a decent model. Most exciting here for me is the fact that the two villain minifigures have a good chance of being new Serpentine, seeing as they are solid white in the prelims and existing figures tend to be shown in full. Some signs point to them being Constrictai, including the trans-orange fang blade and catapult similar to that in the OG Samurai X Mech. However, they also don't seem to have short legs, so they really could be anything. As long as they aren't the same 3 snakes we've been getting for the last few years, I'll be happy. 71734 (4+ Blade Cycle): Nothing to say here, other than nice to see Rattla pop up again. 71756 (Bounty): I'll admit that I was a little skeptical of the Hydro-Bounty when the name first leaked, but I think they've done a good job here. The white color scheme is striking (although the lack of red is a little upsetting). I am definitely a fan of the mini subs dispersed throughout the sets, and with 6 of them I'm hopeful we'll see one for each ninja. The villain chariot is very cool and the return of the stingray element is a welcome sight! 71755 (Temple): This is definitely my favorite set of the wave so far. The giant snake/eel/monster looks really cool, and I like how spread out and open the temple is. I think a lot of people are disappointed in getting snake villains again, but I think it's nice that we now have matching fire and water snake tribes, right down to the giant snake creature. I'm intrigued by the figure floating in the middle with all the water effects... I wonder if it's going to be some sort of powered-up Nya? Because that would be amazing. 71754 (Water dragon): I'm just really happy we're finally getting a water dragon. I like the idea someone mentioned about Nya transforming into the dragon. It would certainly help differentiate this dragon from all the previous ones, story-wise, and might even be able to tie into the Akita lore from S11. I'm not yet sold on the wings, but I look forward to seeing this set from other angles. 71752 (Jay's car): Another obligatory ninja vehicle. I might pick this up, depending on price and the included minifigures. Could end up being a cheap army builder. 71750 (Lloyd's mech): The obligatory ninja mech. It's pretty small and doesn't seem to include anything noteworthy. I would have preferred these smallest two sets to feature villain vehicles, something that has been lacking recently, really since the Hunted subtheme all the way back in 2018. Overall, I'm impressed with these sets, especially the larger S14/15 ones. Just how this subtheme compares to other recent ones will likely depend on the quality/distribution of the minifigures (please please please include all 6 ninja). For now, I'm very happy with what we're getting, and I'm excited to see the final products!
  22. I wonder if there’s any chance the fire dragon is Kai’s elemental dragon from S4/5/6 rather than Flame from the pilots. Although it was never released as a set, it would give them a chance to release Legacy 3 Kai. Alternatively, if it is based on the 2011 design, then I’ll be disappointed it doesn’t include the whole Fire Temple. That was arguably the most iconic set from 2011 and would be an excellent capstone to the 10 year anniversary.
  23. Why isn’t anyone talking about the most obvious set: The Battle of the Seven Potters Battle Pack, featuring seven identical Harrys and one dead Hedwig. Or, perhaps even more frustrating, seven Harrys wearing the same outfit but each featuring a unique torso with slightly different creases.
  24. Sad, hope they bring those back soon. I wonder if the last few haven’t sold as well.
  25. Have there been any rumors about an accessory pack to go with the winter sets? For a short stretch we were getting one with every wave, but we never got one for last summer. I’d hope to see something in March with at least one exclusive character.
