I just ordered up 75159 and I'm already thinking of mods for it. The first ones that come to mind are making it rounded, adding plating around the entire thing, and putting in black tiles to cover the grey floor.

Just ordered up Death Star 75159 from the LEGO Shop. Used up my VIP Points and a prepaid credit card, so I got it for $550 CDN with free shipping. Now I'll begin saving my VIP Points for the next UCS release that I want. Possibly the Millennium Falcon if it happens.

Y-Wing Starfighter 75172 came back up on the LEGO Shop so I placed an order. Hoping it ships before next Wednesday when I hit up a LEGO Shop retail location. I'm thinking of using my VIP Points towards the Death Star.

Good thread. Hopefully we see lots of ideas come forward. I don't own either Death Star set, but I'm considering picking up the newest one at the LEGO Shop during the Double VIP event next month. If I do I will be looking for cool modifications to do, like every set I purchase.

Not diggin' anything revealed at Toy Fair today. Especially the Quadjumper and Rathtar Escape. Would have rather seen some more Rogue One sets while it is still relevant. AT-ACT, Blue Squadron or Partisan X-Wing, Hammerhead Corvette, all come to mind. Oh well. Money saved during the summer means a bigger budget for The Last Jedi sets on Force Friday II.

Imperial Star Destroyer 75055 Bought it from a seller in Canada, so I'm hoping it arrives soon! :)

Outstanding! How much does it weigh? How do you transport it?

- A large scale Yavin 4. An outer ramp, inner hangar, and Strategy Center. The bigger the better. Mini figures could include Rebel pilots, troops, and droids, as well as Mon Mothma and Bail Organa. Other mini figures could include Jyn, Cassin, General Draven, and General Merrick. This is number one on my want list. - AT-ACT. A couple drivers along with some Rebel and Imperial ground troops. - TIE Bomber. Just need a couple pilots, maybe one or two ground crew. - An updated Endor Bunker. Han, Leia, Luke, Chewbacca, R2, C-3P0, some Ewok's, some Rebel troops, and a few Stormtroopers. I don't care much about other accessories (Speeder Bikes, AT-ST, etc). It would just be nice to have larger and more detailed bunker than we've seen in the past. - Death Star Hangar. Needs to be big enough to park the Falcon. At the very least enough space enough for a coupe TIE Fighters 9492. Include lots of Imperial forces like Officers, Navy, Ground Crew. Stormtroopers, droids.

New member standing by. Grew up playing with LEGO everyday. Mainly built castles and towns. Eventually I moved on to other things and my LEGO went deep in storage. I started collecting again as an adult, and got back into LEGO when the Jurassic World sets came out. I bought all of them I was hooked again, like I had found a long lost friend! After completing the Jurassic World collection I got into Star Wars by buying Poe's X-Wing last winter. Since then I've added nearly 10 sets to my LEGO Star Wars collection and save for a few more past releases I want to get, I am eager for the 2017 sets to start landing. After building a set, I look for ways to modify it to be more visually striking, or functional. I did a fair amount of modifying to Millennium Falcon 75105, Rebel U-Wing 75155, and this week I started on a major overhaul of X-Wing Starfighter 9493. The classic Red Squadron T-65 is my favorite X-Wing and favorite Star Wars ship, so I went all in and ordered somewhere between $40-$50 worth of bricks with a few more on the way. I am excited to share pictures of it when completed. Someday when I have a more permanent residence with ample space, I'd love to undertake a large scale project and do MOC. I'm simply in awe of some I've seen on here (The Empire Strikes Back- Rebel Fleet and 8 ft. Trench Run come to mind). Anyway, that about covers it. I'm looking forward to chatting with fellow collectors and taking in all this forum has to offer!
