  1. Znap was an interesting theme, with some parts compatible with the Technic line. I had a lot of fun with it, as you can crate a lot of wacky shapes and build at odd angles. I would love to get some more of it, just for the fun of playing around with it. I'd give it a solid 9/10 as I love the uniqueness of it. Speaking of things I would love to get more of, next up is Modulex.
  2. Amazing Job! Something that really stranded out to me was the use of the small flower pieces placed on the bushes. I had tried to do this same technique at some point, only to end up bending the tiny branches. The tile work is also amazing! The flowers compliment the build perfectly. Overall, it's spectacular!
  3. Wow. I didn't expect this to be a LEGO theme, but I am curious in how they are going to do the Minion characters, and Gru himself, with the nose. I personally would like to see his giant silver vehicle (blanking on the name) created into a set.
  4. I'm not sure that this is the issue, but it seems similar to an issue where some of the pieces aren't getting enough sunlight or aren't completely submerged. I saw a technique in a video called burnishing in which you take a flat metal surface and scrape it gently along the surface of the part, which gets rid of some of the white marks. I suggest trying all of the suggestions above before my own, and use it as a last resort if nothing else works as it can scratch the parts a bit.
  5. So, to add to this, I also ended up with some transparent 2 x 4 parts from the early sixties that were in better condition. With the old logo and everything. When you compare the two of the same piece ... ouch. I have much work ahead of me.
  6. Ok, so I have made the same mistake from my younger self, and rubbing alcohol didn't do the trick. It sure seemed like it, but it left a faded mess. I also tried a magic eraser thingy, which did the trick. If that doesn't work, try mint toothpaste. If THAT doesn't work, use some hairspray. They smell after, but it is worth a shot. Hope this helps you! -Legostarwars1425
  7. Ok. So I admit, I do call them LEGOs from time to time, because I grew up saying LEGOs. It doesn't bother me too much now. The part number thing gets under my skin SO much. I wouldn't go on a rant or anything, but it bothers me. Another is when someone calls something like Mega Bloks LEGO. A fourth is when I am displaying something, and someone will say "Is that a kit?" or "Is that for sale?" It just bothers me. I guess it is a pride thing. So those are a few things that bother me. -Legostarwars1425
  8. Thanks you so much! I'll try one side at a time. Thanks for the extra advice!
  9. Okay, so if you have ever looked up "Custom LEGO pieces" you find some cool parts. I was wondering if anyone has tried making their own, and out of what material? Does PVC release bad chemicals? Was it hard or time consuming? And most importantly, what are your opinions on third party pieces like brickarms, brickforge, brickmania, Crazy bricks arms and cactuses, etcetera? I have not tried too many custom pieces so far. So, that being said, I am interested in your responses. I did another one, like this, so here is the link to the original: Thanks in advance, Legostarwars1425
  10. Yes, the cloudiness is only in the transparent parts, and I'll make sure to try the Pledge Multi-surface Wax. Thank you so much!
  11. Awesome! Will be looking into this set!
  12. Ok, I need some help with my yellowing problem. I got a bunch of old LEGO Bricks second hand, and a whole bunch were yellowed. So what I did, was take them and put them in a bin for around a month. When I finally got to fixing them, I used 3% hydrogen peroxide and set them out for around 3 - 4 hours. The whites did perfect. The transparents did not. They had a very orange tint to them, and still do at the writing of this. So if anyone can help me figure out this issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! -legostarwars1425 P.S. Some of the parts are cloudy too. If you can help with that, that also would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
  13. My Profile pic is my SigFig. It appears in most of my MOCs. None posted yet. It is the minifigure in the orange sweatshirt from set 60057. I just added Loki's staff with a trans-light blue diamond.
  14. May I just say, Oh My Brick. This is so cool! I have hoped that lego themselves, would make a sound brick that you could put your own sound into. Thanks to the geniuses at PFx Bricks, you can!
  15. Love your profile picture!

  16. I was just curious, after I beat the levels in dimensions, I went back to look at them. There is a mystery dimension. I beat that too. There are still question marks which mean that I have not beat the certain level. Any clues as to what this means?
  17. I wish I had some. The shape would seem a bit hard to hide though. As far as the question, I have none. I do want one though.
  18. Thank you!
  19. Please let me know how I would get my MOC photos down to 10.24 KB. I can't seem to find a way to do this. I have seen awesome people post their MOCS here. I can't seem to get it to the file size. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
  20. I hit "YES" in hopes of there being a better variety of mid-evil pieces being created. I like doing castle related MOCs so that's why I hit yes. Now it is a theme for kids, and that is what they go by. Meaning if the kids like it, they produce more. So I think kids very much like it, hence they keep making more. So... they probably will keep Nexo-knights and ditch castle. Now I am not saying they won't create more like castle in the future, but for now, they will keep making Nexo-Knights.
  21. I can see why you say that... I personally would buy ABS pieces or a type that would not leech chemicals. That is a good thing to consider when purchasing.
  22. Ok if you look up "Custom LEGO pieces" you come to find a couple of things. Do any of you out there use the pieces in MOCS? Have you ever tried making your own? I have used them, like Brickarms, Brickforge, and Brickmania for my war models. What do you think about these or any other type?
  23. The parts are very good. Try it. I suggest it.
  24. Ok, the ones that I saw that you guys wanted to know about are: Galidor Znap Jack Stone Starting with Galidor, the sets are good if you want action figures. Since they are LEGO, the joints connect with Technic pins and sockets, and as far as I have, some come with staffs and spring loaded rubber dart shooters. They do shoot regular modern rubber tipped darts as well as the old style. As far as Znap, some elements are able to be connected with technic, but it reminds me of K'nex, but not in a bad way. Jack stone is a line with non-customizable figures and vehicles made out of bigger parts or builds made for smaller children, which is pretty cool. None are EXTREMELY bad but each have their individual advantages and disadvantages.
