Very good idea! The Z kinematics have given me some sleepless nights (way before 42209). I wonder if there is a better method than trial and error... There must be a way to solve this problem analytically: given the geometry of the bucket and the range of the mini-LAs; with the pivots and the levers' lengths as variables. Does anyone know?

Let's be more generous! The blue pins surely are original Lego, so who cares about the weird green and brown parts and the tyres... Turning to a more serious attitude: Sticking to Lego would be a good measure for a contribution in a Lego forum. There are many reasons... just to mention one of the most striking ones: The challenge is to build MOCs with the somewhat "limited" (over 80,000 parts!) inventory Lego offers. By adding third party parts, the main point gets lost.

Generally, I prefer pure Technic without too much System parts... but I love the bellows of the joysticks (microphone) simply made of 1x1 round plates. The compact drivetrain for the turntable is nice as well with its 1L wormgear and the combination pf 20t-12t double bevel gears meshing directly with the turntable.

This gives new hope that Technic might find its way back to cool functions driven by maaany gears. Very well done, very impressive @R0Sch! The usage of the clutch is something we have seen many times whenever to axles are routed through one turntable. But I think we never saw a 8t gear meshing with a 28t gear in an official set, did we?

Maybe the single motor isn't strong enough to drive more than one function simultaneously? So the setup with a single lever avoids this issue. But I consent, a multi-function setup like in 42042 would be more fun to play. I can imagine that there will be some early MODs which will provide exactly this setup.

You are right, there are white 3x3 T-shaped beams - attached to some black beams (visible in the view directly from the top). The "extra parts": There are two 3L lbg beams at the front axle (at the same width as the white 3x3 beams). I'm not sure whether white and lbg beams are connected by black 5L beams on each side... there has to be some space for the two black 4L thin beams which hold (and tilt) the grabber.

Does anyone have a clue about the two white liftarms providing the little grabber vehicle's base? The standard 3x5 L-shaped liftarm doesn't seem to do the job, does it? Speaking of this grabber vehicle: It looks like a fun mechanism and can even be tilted (by the well-known combination worm gear + 8 t gear).

On some of the image the yellow maccaroni parts (front axle) are atttached to the main chassis (below the cabin), on others they are torn half way out, so that a red axle connector is visible. In effect, the 5x7 frame (around the front differential) is misaligned (tilted downwards in respect to the rest of the chassis). TLG should have engaged some pros for taking the photos... or at least to assemble the set...

This connection is quite creative and new. In principle, I like it. However, the crane's load will rest on just two half beams (i.e. the black 87408 connector). Moreover, the second stage of the boom is held in place by a single 4L axle with stop (going through the connector). Considering the massive first stage of the boom, this solution seems to be odd and lacking stability.
