  1. There's also the possibility Lego was waiting to release a set until after the series came out for whatever reason. We don't have any other Marvel Disney+ shows to go off of, the closest comparison we can make at this point is The Mandalorian, but Marvel and Star Wars are different beasts when it comes to Lego as it's been pointed out already.
  2. Not to mention they're being produced by two entirely different studios, so it's not at all a longshot that one could be finished first even though it releases later.
  3. If they were all repeats or new versions that had anything less than printing on every inch of them with dual molded arms and legs, you better believe it
  4. Try being a Clone Wars fan...
  5. I'm actually kind of curious to see some of these. Mario's House is particularly intriguing, it's never been in the main series so I wonder if it might be based off of Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi, or if it'll just be something basic Lego made up. I'm assuming Whomp's Fortress will be based on the Mario 64 level, but it seems way too cheap for that.
  6. That sounds really good for the minifigs and price alone, I assume it's based on the game?
  7. Yes, those are the two officially confirmed by Lego so far, and I believe the Razorcrest and Mandalorian/Child BrickHeadz are also part of the summer wave. There's also Anakin's starfighter (unknown model) and a Separatist AAT, along with two potential mystery sets.
  8. The head-tails on both togrutas and twi'leks are called lekku. I really hope we don't get BrickHeadz of Ahsoka and Maul without at least getting an Ahsoka minifig, it's been so long since we've seen her... Unfortunately it wouldn't surprise me, it wouldn't be the first time we got BrickHeadz either way before a minifig (Jack and Sally, Frozone), or long after that character had left shelves (Simpsons/Back to the Future).
  9. Or worse, when it has nothing to do with Lego at all...
  10. "Noooooo!" Oh well, thanks for clearing this up. Is 75318 separate from the other potential retail exclusive we know about?
  11. All he did was post a picture of Ahsoka and Maul but we don't know if it's actually hinting anything. I've seen occasions in other themes where he posted something and people here assumed we were getting a certain minifig only for it to turn out he posted it just because he liked the character design or something like that. For now I'm just going to keep my expectations low and expect something recycled from the OT for the tenth time.
  12. I doubt it, exclusives are usually kept under wraps pretty well, and we've known about this set for a while. Also, none of the leakers ever suggested it would be exclusive.
  13. Unfortunately this is a mentality I see way too much here, as if everyone should be collecting from the start of a theme and there's no other option. The way some people react you'd think a remake of a Star Wars vehicle that was last available five years ago or a Super Heroes character that's already been in a set like the majority of Batman's rogues gallery returning (with a new design no less) was the end of the world. I just find it to be a selfish way of thinking since as someone who emerged from a semi-dark age well into the life of both themes I've been able to take advantage of those. No reason to gate iconic vehicles or characters, or like you said timeless archetypes, behind time and resellers.
  14. That's a nice looking AT-AT, definitely an improvement on the last one. I have to say though I'm surprised that there's so many complaints that the legs look skinny, it looks almost identical to the legs on the last one. Looks like this is the final nail in the coffin for the new pilot helmets though, that's a shame since I thought that piece was an improvement. I really wonder what went on with that. I doubt it would have anything to do with fan complaints since we still have the new stormtrooper helmets.
  15. I really hope this is an actual hint, anything with either Ahsoka or Rex would be great and Maul would be icing on the cake.
  16. I wouldn't have minded getting Nute, but oh well. I'm not going to get my hopes up for anything more than Anakin and R2 until we hear otherwise.
  17. I really like that we're getting more options for Batman capes. Hopefully they'll make one eventually that comes around to the front of the figure and drapes across the ground.
  18. I mean in terms of regular sets since that's what applies here, I wouldn't count polybags or promotional items and definitely not SDCC items.
  19. I'd be surprised if it was, have any MCU movies besides Endgame and Civil War gotten more sets after the initial wave?
  20. Yeah, I was hoping for a Batcave on wheels rather than a rolling Bat-garage too. Might be interesting to use for the base of a MOC with that concept though.
  21. It's not really that weird, lots of characters have unique molds that don't really work for anyone else that eventually get replaced.
  22. I don't think Nintendo ever owned the rights to Sonic, it's always been Sega.
  23. The Bat-Base looks pretty cool, can't wait to see the interior. I'm a little disappointed that Batgirl doesn't have a cowl, but I'm so glad Nightwing turned out to be wearing his blue costume after all. The Penguin set is okay, I'll be getting it for the new Penguin and that glider on Batman. The Joker set doesn't really have anything that interests me but that's fine. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this wave.
  24. Or maybe a few waves of Smash Bros CMF
  25. Is it just me, or does Penguin have white skin again?
