LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The german LEGO magazine has a new pic of the ARC-170 Fighter who will get a bigger advertisement in the next issue. Bigger version of the last pic: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/NavyTroo...ds-news/arc.jpg Looks to me like real-life Clones and not this zombie-faces we got in all the other TCW sets. -

The visual dictionary included on the last few pages pictures from a prototype of a new Hoth Rebel hat. Blurry pic from Commander 501: http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/attachment...mp;d=1254496300 I saw another one floating somewhere in the net, too, but I forgot where exactly. Besides, you can consider the summer 2010 sets that jedi-insider spoke about as real, because they were also right about them the last few years and a Wampa Attack without the victim of the attack (Luke, who would need a new mold as hat) would be plain stupid. -
LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It´s Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde level bad, because I can´t even move the figures. XD Works great for Castle Brickmaster Book including a skeleton. I guess the book will be TCW themed because it is more popular, also it is a little bit cheaper with only one real figure and a fake figure (battledroid). Random set wish here, but it seems possible. LEGO has already a jetpack mold, only thing missing is a mandalorian helmet, but this could be used for a TCW Mando set and the romured Slave One. @ rumors: I would expect a Cad Bane figure from LEGO next year. He becomes a minor figure in the show and is one of the most popular villians. Also he would be easy to produce without necessary new molds. -
Indiana Jones theme discussion & speculations
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to Zzz's topic in LEGO Licensed
It really looks like the end of the Indy line but I really wish LEGO makes a last set like in the case of Harry Potter and finally realeases the tank from Crusade. I think it is one of the most memorable sets and also it is a freaking tank! Boys love tanks! LEGO already sold its soul when making the army men BP for Toy Story, so why can´t they go with the tank, too? -
Brickmaster books are actually only oversized instructions books for small sets and are mainly interesting because of the included parts and figures. Pirate Brickmaster for example: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=403606

Amazon Germany now lists a DK book called LEGO Brickmaster LEGO City http://www.amazon.de/LEGO-Brickmaster-City...6286&sr=1-5 It has 32 pages, is the english version and is supposed to be released on 18.7.2011. I suppose the release date is maybe a typing mistake because a Star Wars themed BM book is also set to be released on 16.8.2010. The book bears resemblance with the shortly released Castle and Pirates BM books, which also featured few pages and a decent amount of LEGO parts (including 2 figures each book).

Amazon Germany now lists a new book from DK called LEGO Brickmast Star Wars It is supposed to be released on 16.8.2010, has 32 pages and costs 17,99€. The book is also the english version, so I assume the same date or a few days before for US/UK. http://www.amazon.de/LEGO-Brickmast-Star-W...6046&sr=1-2 I assume that LEGO is going to make a Brickmaster book in the same style of the Pirates and Castle BM books. Sounds interesting. -

Here you go: http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/541/landspeederiii8092.png That would have been awesome. They would have gotten childlegs in sitting position or even with articulation for being a drunken stiff. -
LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, the Jetpack Commander Droid was probably planned, the whole time and the special printing (if it even has printing) wasn´t fully developed so we only got pics with three normal Jetpack Droids. Also, in set developements the design-team makes a list with all charas that they could includee that would make sense and there is already a brighter shot of the Landspeeder pic where instead of Garindan is just a pile of junk, so I think, if they wanted to include Garindan, they would have done that before shooting prelim pics. Also, what is so interesting at Garindan that everybody wants him the set? I would find it more interesting to find out if we get some drunken Jawas for putting in front of our MOC cantinas that are lying in the pic in the shadows of the junk. XD -
Petition for Western returning
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would love the return of Western. But the indians should be updated. A new skin color like in Indiana Jones would be more fitting than noses... -
Is this only for the USA or also for Europe? It really has to be connected with S@H, too. Also good to see that LEGO finally stops to kill all that trees for the loyality cards.^^ You got all 16 stamps really fast.

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Normally it´s 2 BPs 2 25€ 2 between 35€ and 50€ 1 70€ We now get 2 BPs 3 25€ (Freeco, Tri Fighter, Lukes Speeder) 1 50€ (TIE Defender) 1 70€ (ARC-170) I am very interested in getting the Freeco bike but the price of 27€ and the leaked pictures make it look to me much to big. I think it could have easily been a 10 to 15 bucks battlepack-like set for children that have enough Clone and Assassin Droid BPs and don´t collect OT stuff. I´m also very sceptical of how they do the cockpit. Even with new molds for the strange bubble/egg window I don´t think that they can get it 100% right to the TV version. -
In Germany it´s March. I would expect to come to the USA earlier.

A toy retailer and I hope too that he mistyped with the star-command price, but I didn´t manage to contact him now about this.

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Most of the pics really are from retailers that are AFOLs themselves or from AFOLs that are friends of retailers, that don´t know that LEGO doesn´t want to have this pics or any information about the sets leaked. Although I find LEGOs reason why they don´t want to release prelim pics lame. Other toy companies like Megablocks could easily set up a new rival line to LEGOs sets, because these companies are faster in production. Yes, Galaxy Wars from Megablocks will shurely outsell any set with Star Wars logos. But this is now pretty off-topic, I think. -
Toy soldiers Battlepack has the same price as Cairo Marketplace in Germany, so I would assume 9,99 to 10,99US$. Other german prices: Lego 7590 - Toy Story RC Car with Woody and Buzz - 19,99€ / 19,99 to 24,99$ Lego 7591 - Toy Story Zurg - 26,99€ / 24,99$ Lego 7592 - Toy Story Buzz - 26,99€ / 24,99$ Lego 7593 - Toy Story Buzz' Star Command-spaceship - 39,99€ / 39,99$ Lego 7594 - Toy Story Woody's Round-up! - 59,99€ / 49,99 to 59,99$ Lego 7595 - Toy Story Green toy soldiers - 13,99€ / 10,99$ US prices are assumed. I compared the Euro prices to same costing sets from S@H and looked how much they were on US S@H.

When you speak from the devil... http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/attachment...mp;d=1252352075 http://www.imperiumdersteine.de/attachment...mp;d=1252352082 Landspeeder looks like the landspeeder from 4501 in tan colors and comes with Ben, Luke, R2, 3PO and Sandtrooper (looks like a plain black pauldron). ARC-170 comes with 2 new Clone Pilots (like from ROTS), a green Jedi (Kit Fisto reuse?) and red Astromech. Euro prices in Germany are: 14,99€ per BP 26,99€ for Freeco, TRI-Fighter and Landspeeder 49,99€ for TIE Defender 69,99€ for ARC-170 Other european countries shouldn -
Battle Pack Contest Rules & Discussion
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Best contest ever. I search for a good BP idea. Just as a side question: If someone wants to make a Battlepack of a soldier-class, but only has got 1 and wants to include said standard count of 4, is it allowed to photoshop them in the picture? -
LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors
Navy Trooper Fenson replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
He collects LEGO Star Wars too and I can imagine that anybody can keep something that little in his memory. LEGO released the Rogue Shadow (based on the TFU game), TIE Crawler (from Crimson Empire Comics) and TX-130s Clone Trooper Tank (from various comics and the Battlefront games). Also every main building of the battlepacks is based on designers imagination. Chrome Darth Vader was also available with a purchase of only 20 Euros. I think the process to put chrome on the figure makes the same cost as producing 20 pieces. Besides, it somehow reminds me on other City promo sets. -

No, I made this a year ago just for fun. I uploaded it as a vague picture of what we can await for another website. I will look if I can get something more clear about it. It shouldn´t take more than three or four days.

A confidential friend of mine heard from a Vedes (german toystore chain) employee that in January/February they will give away LSW Promosets consisting of an exclusive figure and a speederbike. He said he may gets a picture of the pack.
