  1. Lol, I also keep accidentally calling it a clutch gear / stepper gear instead of a ratchet gear
  2. Awesome, it works now πŸ‘
  3. I see it now, cool It works, but I have to select the theme every time I use euro bricks, my cookies are not saving my theme choice idk if they were meant to or not Regards, Snipe
  4. hi, I can't see the edit button at the bottom yet, I tried on firefox nightly in mobile and desktop view. I use Firefox on Win11 too, I'll trst it again later
  5. Will the buggy motors mod be on rebrickable (for your ultimate version with the Daytona rims and wheel arches)? I know we have to mod the Konigsegg too but.. I was researching to try and find the best way to add a 4 or 6+N+R gearbox to this and thought about splicing in the mercadees AMG GT3 transmission on the rear axle but discarding it's button style shifters and keeping the original shifter mech for the pista. But its still a big gearbox. Another model I saw in my PDFs had a 4 or 6 speed (I'd have to check it again) and motorization (IIRC) but the Reverse and neutral were on a DNR selector, So we would have to move the shifter motor to be in front of the DNR selector.
  6. those parts are rare and break easily, not good for such a buge car with 3 hard springs per axle Can't we Just use a 4L axle with stop and another half bush for pete sake
  7. I'm 50/50 on this Nice part usage, but no gearbox trans clear studless engine block
  8. Fabulous
  9. One tiny mod I just done on the wishbones is move them 1L higher on one side compared to the other side, so that the wishbones are diagonal, thus improving steering. Since these wishbones are bendy plastic its probably still legal too! It looks so cool now! They They might be diagonally facing the wrong way, if so I can change that. the front axle ones will be identical instead of mirrored
  10. It’s illegal but that's Ok. No, it doesn't not stress the parts really. I get tired of people calling out illegal building techniques just because its basically a meme now... You have to resort to illegal building techniques eventually if you're a serious lego designer
  11. I copied a live early build video, but he stopped after bag 6 Anyway here it is:
  12. Great thing is with the 14z gears we can now drive axles that are spaced 1-1 Only 3-2, 3-4, etc spacing was possible before (for example with 16z+20z or 20z+24z respectively). A 10z I used to think was better but there is not a gear size that would leave 2 open pinholes pictured below free for an axle to rotate anyhow, and 14z probably has more combinations in whole unit spacing than 10z. Also there might be enough space to make a 14z clutch gear that is only 1L thick instead of 2L.
  13. I built the gearbox, it only shifted 8 positions then when I put the third section of it that goes behind the axle on it only shifted 3 times But that's Ok, its just there so I can start adding the rear adjustable ride height. I did make some tiny mods on the gearbox like 2 rubber bands per stepper mechanism and the reddish orange rollers are now on frictionless pins. The color vomit IS very nice though, it reminds me of the gearboxes in set 42070 but on steroids
