Disney Properties 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Capes and such come in separate boxes, so I suppose that's why she doesn't have it in the leak. -

Great minifigures. I loved the Cruella movie so much that this representation of her has burned into my brain, and as I looked at the minifigure for a second I was like Wait, that's Cruella? -

Same, I won't even bother to watch in theatres. Marvel Studios has somehow killed my interest in this franchise in a span of a year. Impressive. -

No idea. Hard to say what they were even trying to do, because they were so behind with the slate — Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk have all already premiered. Add Secret Invasion and Loki, and it already feels like too much to cover in a (presumably) twelve-minifigure series. It'd have been weird to add even more there. But, you know. We never know with LEGO -

Well, no. The Nova Corp ship cost 25€ for 196 pieces, while the Baby Rocket ship costs 35€ for 330 pieces. Nothing's really changed. It's all, more or less, the same. As for the minifigures, nothing to do inflation — LEGO just chose to include only two versions of Rocket. -

The Up set is insanely good. The minifigures are incredible. Russell is literally perfect, Carl's spot-on, and Dug is a great new mould. The build is exactly what I hoped for — a cosy, cramped version of the house. Not microscale, but also not a 200€ set. It feels so refreshing to get something like this as a 55€ set. The house is filled with so much personality and so many little details, like the photo frames and the journal. -

I'm gonna be totally honest — I forgot how the actual ship looked (except for the overall shape). And I have to say, I liked that set much more when I didn't remember It's... not a good representation. The cockpit is awful. The colours are off. The whole cockpit area is way too vertical. Even the "wings" barely resemble the actual ship. Yeah, I dislike this wave even more now. -

To be fair, the set was pushed back over a year, so maybe it was made in the ancient times when LEGO cared enough to include prominent characters in Super Heroes sets -

The year is 2025. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is coming out in a month. I'm in a toy shop. I see shelves with LEGO. I wonder which Marvel set I should choose — a buildable 40€ Kang figure, an 80€ Kang helmet, or a 200€ buildable Kang's Time Chair. No more sets for this movie are present. -

I agree that this year is an absolute new low for LEGO Marvel. Since 2012, we got a lot of terrible builds and lacklustre minifigures. But they never disappointed us so much in minifigure selections. It's frustrating, because they are producing things like a 3000+ piece Captain America shield, and yet they won't even give us some of the main characters from the final Guardians of the Galaxy movie, any characters from the newest Ant-Man movie, or even all villains from the biggest Spider-Man movie ever (and yet they gave us another Doctor Strange and MJ). -

Thsi wave is definitely baffling, because the sets themselves look extremely good, but the omissions are absolutely ridiculous. The smallest set has a surprisingly good build for a 10€ set, I miss those kind of sets. Rocket's ship is really well built, and actually feels fresh. The Bowie looks awesome, and looks like nothing we ever got from LEGO. The minifigures themselves are good too, they even have leg printing. But the minifigure selection is quite possibly the worst I've ever seen from LEGO Marvel. Cosmo should've been included in the smallest set. High Evolutionary and Lylla should've been included in the Baby Rocket set — they are literally connected to Rocket's origin, what a ridiculous decision not to include them. Gamora should've been included in the Bowie. Come on LEGO, she's one of the most important Guardians! -

The sets look absolutely fantastic, but at the same time I'm extremely disappointed. No Gamora? No Cosmo? No Kraglin? No Lylla, who would've been a perfect inclusion in the Rocket set? No High Evolutionary, who's literally the main villain? It's intriguing, because LEGO Marvel's problems are usually lacklustre builds and/or minifigures, and this time it's somehow something completely different. No idea why they ommited all those characters. It seems like it would've been so easy to include them. -

The quality of those images is killing me... Still can't believe we're getting Carl's house. It's fantastic. Glad to see they've included all the characters too. The train looks pretty good, I think? Hard to say. Minifigures will definitely be amazing tho. -

What made me more excited than any promotional materials we've seen so far are the reactions from test screenings. Multiple sources — including ViewerAnon, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, BossLogic — have said that the movie has been received extraordinarily well at test screenings. Apparently it got the best score for a DC movie since The Dark Knight, and some people even called it one of the greatest comicbook movies they've ever seen. Not to mention James Gunn praising it, whose opinion is really valuable imo (and no, he doesn't lie — if Gunn says it's great, then he truly thinks so). -

Yeah, it's wierd because you'd think a Batwing with those massive wings would be bigger than a long car, and yet the latter will include nearly 100 pieces more for an additional 10€. One can dream, but I hope it includes Batcave elements or a small Zod's aircraft. -

I would be, if it wasn't based on forgettable Disney+ series The only ones I genuinely really like so far were The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki. WandaVision and Ms. Marvel went downhill after ⅓ of their episodes, Moon Knight was forgettable, Hawkeye and What If...? were bad, and She-Hulk was genuinely awful. -

Anyone else feels like it would've made more sense to switch the vehicles between The Flash and Batman 1989 sets? The Batwing could easily be accessible to more minifigures, resulting in more play value for kids. It could include Batman and both Flashes, all of them in the Batwing, with Kara flying next to them. The Batmobile, on the other hand, feels like a Batman-only vehicle (and why would The Flash use a car ), so it would've made sense to make it a set for the solo Batman movie.
