  1. Wonder what this means for Jabba's Palace too. I feel like this is the third time its set number has changed, and yet again there's nothing attached to it. No price, piece count, or set number.
  2. The set looks cool, but the price is awful — 70€ for a microscale model, using mostly tiny pieces, with no minifigures included? Should've been 50€, at most.
  3. That's true, but it leaked through a retailer — LEGO themselves haven't actually commented on it. We know about the sets from various sources — leaked images, retailers, leakers — but LEGO has never officially mentioned those sets.
  4. As far as official confirmations go, we aren't getting Indiana Jones sets at all — because LEGO has actually never confirmed the revival of this theme. Those are all just rumours, technically (even tho we've seen leaked images). As for the Temple of Doom, a toy retailer has recently uploaded the sets — and guess which one was missing?
  5. Well, the set comes out tomorrow, so they kinda have to upload it to Shop@Home.
  6. Really nice polybag. Cho looks good.
  7. It's an error on their side, but the descriptions are there. Just go to one of the links and type any of the four set numbers in the search bar — the only one that won't work is 77014.
  8. A retailer listed all the sets with the descriptions — and guess which one isn't there https://www.joueclub.fr/jeux-de-constructions-maquettes/lego-indiana-jones-77012-la-poursuite-en-avion-de-combat-5702017190457.html https://www.joueclub.fr/jeux-de-constructions-maquettes/lego-indiana-jones-77013-l-evasion-du-tombeau-perdu-5702017190464.html https://www.joueclub.fr/contenu/resultat-de-recherche-produits.html?searchText=77014 https://www.joueclub.fr/jeux-de-constructions-maquettes/lego-indiana-jones-77015-le-temple-de-l-idole-en-or-5702017190488.html I truly hope it's a design flaw and it'll release later on, but it's not looking good.
  9. Yeah, I think the minifigure is definitely not what I expected. The hat is alright, but it's too bulky. Dark brown hair doesn't look too good either. The face print... is not it. The webs look out of place. The torso is good enough, but I feel like the old one was much more detailed. Legs look bad, especially the belt area. This is a really rare time where I genuinely think the old legs are better, even by today's standards.
  10. What are those random prices tho — 38€? 27€? 53€?
  11. It is. The sets are coming out in August, it makes sense that we haven't heard much since the theme leaked. Perhaps we'll get some set names next month.
  12. I love the sound of this wave. Wish they included more new characters tho — I feel like the 50€ set could easily include more than two minifigures — especially considering the builds are yet another Ford Explorer, and a mountain of dinosaur poo The Brachiosaurus set is definitely a must-buy for me.
  13. Four thousand pieces aren't enough for you?
  14. Bruh, no It basically means that the cave is not gonna suddenly stop in places. It's gonna be around the base of the set, walls etc.
  15. "In July, the German Peace Society issued a warning against LEGO releasing the licensed V-22. Despite rebranding of the aircraft in the set to make it a search and rescue aircraft, the German Peace Society released a statement saying: On 1. August 2020 LEGO® plans to release its first ever military set while internal corporate value documents forbid the production of current military vehicles. The German DFG-VK also criticises the license placed on the set. With every buy, customers help to finance arms companies." Last post about this tho, it's way too off-topic. I have no idea why people think they aged well. By today's standards, the minifigures are pretty bad, especially the faces. The builds also don't hold up particularly well. LEGO could do a much better job nowadays.
  16. They did tho. The LEGO Technic Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey was designed to highlight the important role the aircraft plays in search and rescue efforts. While the set clearly depicts how a rescue version of the plane might look, the aircraft is only used by the military. We have a long-standing policy not to create sets which feature real military vehicles, so it has been decided not to proceed with the launch of this product. We appreciate that some fans who were looking forward to this set may be disappointed, but we believe it's important to ensure that we uphold our brand values.
  17. Tbh a 450€ Wayne Manor sounds like a terrible set It's literally just a regular manor belonging to a wealthy family. There's nothing Batman-y about it.
  18. It's actually like going to your parents' closet a day before Christmas, and seeing four presents in there — but the next day you only get three of them, and you're confused as to why you didn't get the fourth one.
  19. I'm actually quite happy with this choice. Not that I've ever bought a Star Wars UCS, but the last two versions of X-Wing are awfully dated, they both look pretty bad. Ten years is an understandable gap, and X-Wing is too iconic to not make it again.
  20. Oh? What are the other reasons?
  21. Could be the best DC set ever if done right. I wonder which version of Batman they'll use — I really hope in this case it's LEGO's regular interpretation of the comicbook Batman. I want to see a bunch of colorful villains, and the ridiculous elements of the Batcave such as the dinosaur or the giant penny.
  22. Yeah, exactly. No leaker has mentioned any kind of reason as to why the set might be cancelled (even tho no one's sure if it really is).
  23. The only info that was released by leakers is that the Temple of Doom might be canned or postponed, as it (apparently) doesn't appear on any listings, and neither does the second wave, which means it could also be not happening. None of it was said with any kind of certainty.
