  1. Andor is quite possibly the only thing I would buy any set from without even a slightest hesitation. The best thing that has ever happened to Star Wars since the creation of Star Wars.
  2. No. Definitely next week tho. Even if for some bizarre reason they don't officially reveal them, the sets will leak. The beginning of May is the last call to reveal the sets.
  3. Oh it's definitely the one that will make the most buzz. A new Ninjago show is coming on the same day as fourteen new sets, including a 370€ D2C.
  4. The motorcycle set is such a missed opportunity for some The Winter Soldier content. The bikes are ugly and oversized, but it's not a bad set. But oh boy, the construction figures are horrifying. I don't even know which one's worse. (I actually do, and it's Wolverine.) Cap's head print has to be the most cursed piece LEGO has ever made. The chest is awful too. Wolverine's hands and claws have to be one of the most awful builds I have ever seen. Absolutely disgusting. His head also looks terrible, and they fit so bad on his shoulders.
  5. Well that's my point, why would they reveal only this one set instead of revealing all of them at the same time. If they did like a 'LEGO Harry Potter Week' where they revealed a new set each day, it'd be understandable — but they won't do that. They'll probably reveal all the remaining sets on a single day. Dobby has also leaked, and they didn't reveal this set.
  6. The sets look really great and all, but I feel like this year is missing more sets like the house from Up. Every set is different from each other, and while I appreciate that fact, it feels like all the sets are some weird kind of gimmicks with a really narrow consumer target.
  7. Wait, the figure is actually... good? Especially compared to the Marvel ones, because both look really weak. Sure, the ears are too far back, but as far as LEGO construction figures go, I think they did a great job pulling this one off. (And don't get me wrong, I still have no interest whatsoever in those.)
  8. I honestly don't get why they revealed only this single random set. It doesn't make any sense.
  9. I guess that's what happens when you trust a random Instagram account
  10. I have bought the two smaller sets a few weeks ago, and they make a fantastic display. They have some of the best value I've ever seen in LEGO sets. I still genuinely can't believe that The Lost Tomb is priced 40€. If it was a Star Wars set, they'd sell it for twice as much (they actually would, that's not an ironic statement).
  11. Oh wow wow wow wow wow, can't wait. This is genuinely in my top five most anticipated LEGO waves ever.
  12. She's getting a 10€ gimmick set, but I guess you mean the regular Nya suit, as the Spinjitzu one will probably include some weird water variant of her. Apart from the 30€ LEGO Shop-exclusive 4+ set, the only possibility of getting her is another LEGO Shop-exclusive set, which costs thrice as much. They really dropped the ball, as she's my second most-wanted OG Ninja from this wave (after Jay).
  13. No, they stated that because it's a polybag, and polybags aren't shown next to sets. They are a completely separate thing.
  14. Nah, Promobricks are the most reliable leak source there is. If they say it's Jay, then it's Jay.
  15. I gotta say, they are doing a great job hyping me up for this season. I like the way they are releasing the promotional materials — the pace is really good.
  16. https://www.instagram.com/p/Crl6H4sv7Bz/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= The main graphic for this comic includes Lloyd, Nya, Kai, Arin, Sora, the character that appears in the Heatwave Dragon set, and the Baby Dragon — and the comic writer calls it the 'All-New All-Different Team'. So, judging by all the promotional materials, at first the series will include a new team of characters, mixing some of the Ninja with new warriors. This poses certain questions — for example, why do the regular retailer sets include no Nyas, but two Jays and Zanes? The other three Ninja have been missing from nearly all promotional materials, yet they are included more prominently in the sets than Nya, who's supposed to be one of the three main Ninja this season.
  17. Did you see the actual reactions from CinemaCon? Because people are calling it one of the best superhero movies we ever got.
  18. Wait, Dobby actually looks... okay? I really expected another cursed buildable figure, but he's pretty good.
  19. I mean, Wu literally appears in a set. Unless it's some kind of diversion, they wouldn't have included him.
  20. I really hope they reveal the sets soon. I need to see them ASAP. Rarely am I so excited for a LEGO wave as a whole.
  21. Yeah, there are no Time Twins in this season. The grey-haired henchman is not Krux.
  22. With the mew trailer and all the incredibly positive screening reactions, it's even more disappointing that the set was cancelled. Or rather reused for another Keaton Batman set
  23. I hate it when we get leaks in such crappy quality, it's infuriating. Hard to properly judge anything, but I do like what I'm seeing here. I wish Battle of Hogwarts had a courtyard tho, it feels incomplete without that part of the castle.
  24. The sets look quite excellent, they are extremely well built. They fell kinda random tho, and I don't know who the target audience for those is. The Duos aren't for kids, because they've got no play value. But I also can't imagine many adults wanting them, since the choices are really random. At least the value is okay, 45€ feels like a fair price. The Villains set is really well built, the minifigures are cool too, but it does not feel like a 130€ set. I can't imagine it selling particularly well at that price, especially when you can buy much better sets in that price range.
  25. I'm glad that we're getting something, but I really have no interest in a Keaton Batman wave, especially because of how they executed it. So the main event is a Batcave... but it's a gimmicky box? Couldn't they just make a regular, extremely detailed Batcave? The minifigures are even a bigger problem, and it's because this is a Keaton Batman set. Imagine how wonderful the selection could've been if it was sa BTAS set or a comic-inspired one. And we get two expansion vehicles which can be displayed in the Batcave... and both have the same minifigures? That's ridiculous.
