Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

That would be extremely annoying, since the designers couldn't even bother to give Harry and Voldemort their proper wands in the Battle of Hogwarts set -
LEGO Ninjago 2023 Discussion

Here's my theory: The series starts with a whole episode dedicated to the Merge. All six Ninjas and Wu appear, trying to save Ninjago City from a catastrophe. We also meet Arin. The Merge happens anyway, and everything disappears. The episode ends with Arin standing over the new realm. Then, a big time jump happens. The next episode or two are fully dedicated to Arin. We learn who he is, and get introduced to the new realm. Ninja are a myth in this world, they haven't been seen since the Merge. Sora also gets introduced, and she becomes friends with Arin. In the next episode, we get introduced to the villains. The episode ends with Arin and Sora confronting Raz on the bridge (as seen in the trailer) — but then, they get saved by Lloyd. The next episode is dedicated to Lloyd, as a sort of tale he tells to Arin and Sora, about everything that's happened to him since the Merge. We learn that he hasn't heard from any other Ninja. He will also start training Arin and Sora. The remaining episodes will focus on Lloyd, Arin and Sora travelling around the realm, saving dragons, and meeting new Ninja in the process. First they'll meet Kai, then Nya, and the others later on. The villains will chase them, until the whole team unites, and in the final episodes they'll confront the Empress. Arin and Sora will become a part of the team, and it might turn out that Wu is dead, so Lloyd takes the mantle of a Sensei. -

Yeah, makes sense not to reveal them on May the 4th. I know it's just two days, but it feels like eternity. I really want to see the sets. -

The Battle of Hogwarts looks much better in other pictures. The alternate build is a big improvement imo. It really should've included some scenery to make it feel like an actual battle — fire, rubble, knight statues, acromantulas or trolls etc. -

The connected sets look absolutely incredible. Seriously impressive. And that's not even all of them. This is why I love the new Hogwarts style much more than the old one. -

Also, a new activity book with Lloyd got revealed. Literally everything possible has leaked before the actual sets. I'm positive all the episodes will leak before we see the actual sets It can't be long now tho. I'm confident we'll see them before the weekend. -
Lego Dreamzzz 2023

I love this theme, and the sets all look fantastic. I really want it to succeed. I'm tired of seeing LEGO's original themes retire after a few waves. This feels like something that has endless potential. I'm gonna buy Izzie and Bunchu set — the minifigure is fantastic, and the build has an incredible colour combination. -

Nope. We won't see August reveals for at least a month and a half. The sets that are getting revealed are releasing in June. (Except for DREAMZzz, which is understandable since it's a new in-house theme.) -

It's just a drawing from a comicbook. This is how it will look more or less tho, but we've seen it like a week ago in a teaser they've released. -

I have quite a dilemma, as the reveal of the sets made me even more torn on the matter — should I buy Room of Requirement or Battle of Hogwarts? The former is a better set imo, but while the latter is much weaker, it is pretty iconic. Which set would you buy if you had to only choose one? -

For that price? Something that will improve the display. You won't even notice three penguins. -

Yeah, the polybag is a nice appetiser. It's actually really surprising that none of the sets have leaked. Not even a single picture. Hope LEGO will be able to keep that and make their grand reveal. -

When it was revealed, I thought great-looking set, but there's I don't think I'll ever buy it (I was one of the few people who were actually very excited about Andor and thought it would be incredible. The price is at least 20€ too much.) I bought it right after watching the first three episodes. It's a fantastic, overpriced set. It's actually the only LEGO set I'm not displaying on my dedicated LEGO shelves, but right on my desk. -

Yeah, looks like they're saving Ninjago as the final reveal. I think they'll officially reveal the remaining sets tomorrow, and make a grand Ninjago reveal on Thursday. -

Who thought that? It obviously would've had some kind of interior. Hogwarts will only have a tiny interior behind the doors and the clockwork. -

Expecto Patronum: One of the worst HP sets ever. The build sucks. Using transparent pieces only in certain spots was a ridiculous decision, they make the build twice as awful. The base also doesn't look good. Harry with arm printing looks great tho. The Battle of Hogwarts: The build is pretty bad. One of the worst Hogwarts expansions they've ever made. It has no depth or substance whatsoever, just an empty facade. The minifigures are good, glad they fixed Harry's legs. This set has an even bigger problem tho — it feels empty. The Room of Requirement feels much more packed, and only one of them is based on the biggest battle in this universe. Quidditch Trunk: Better than I expected, but still kinda... weak. At least the Quidditch robes have hoods now, that's a big improvement. Dobby the House-Elf: Never would've expected it, but it's one of the better sets. Still, not a huge fan. They should've done a better job with those ears. Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes: Probably the best set out of this bunch, but it's still just good. That's really all I have to say about the main build. The owlery is a cool addition, but it feels kinda pathetic with a single owl. The minifigures are pretty good tho. Hogwarts Express: The build is good, but the minifigure selection is awfully bland. Nothing more to say. -

It seems that literally everything else will leak before the actual, retailer sets (even the D2C leaked ) I really like what I'm seeing here. Kai looks pretty great. I love the alternative faceprint, looks so much better with this suit. The mask would be good, if the two pieces it was made of weren't so noticeably separate. I suppose it might look better in darker shades, for example on Cole. I particularly love the fact that they've finally stopped using black hands for all Ninjas, and instead are using darker shades of their respective colours. Rapton looks fantastic, and so does the build. Overall a great deal for 5€. -

THELEGOBATMAN replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, but it's better to get more accurate legs in another set than the same completely inaccurate ones. Not to mention that is actually the most inconsistent LEGO theme ever, since day one. For example, the first CMF series included mid-legs for Year 3–4 characters, while the Hogwarts Express that released the same included short legs for characters on the very same year. The leg choices for the Harry Potter sets are the single most inconsistent thing LEGO has ever produced. -

Who cares really, at least they fixed those. They shouldn't have been regular blue in the first place. It looked completely out of place. -

Completely different thing. The Castle is a D2C, and it's coming in July. We won't get a leak for at least a month. -
