  1. If that carriage is 30 euro, I think I might know why Lego's sales have dropped...
  2. Oh right. Probably better off buying stuff now then and getting the double VIP points.
  3. Sorry if this isn' really the right place, but with the Solo sets com9ng next month, I read there was going to be a Force Friday for the new toys. Do we know if Lego is doing anything to celebrate their new sets being released?
  4. The movie is literally about what happens when you mess around with nature and create things that shouldn' exist. The entire Jurassic franchise is about man's hubris in meddling with nature under the delusion that they can control and profit from it...
  5. So I guess everyone just missed the fact that they were generically engineering the dinosaurs in the park to be bigger and scarier to attract visitors...
  6. I couldn't even order it. I saw it earlier, but I think it's too late and they noticed. They also listed the Thor set at the Milano set price, in case people were wondering what happened. ALSO: if you'e in the UK and missed out on the TRU Civil War set, it' now availale at The Entertainer and other places.
  7. So... am I alone in feeling this is kinda underwhelming? Like, it seems kinda weak for something with "Grand in the title. And I know they'e kids, but those legs that don't move? I'm getting a real Sanctum Sanctorum vibe from this to be honest.
  8. These are all REAL underwhelming. At least the Cap/Widow set will be a good army builder/supply of legs with decent generic leg printing. Even then, these are all wait for discounts/3 for 2 offers sets. It's a shame, but maybe there just arent a lot of Lego friendly scenes in the movie.
  9. Where are people finding the box art pictures? My Google-Fu is seriously failing me...
  10. Yeah, but those shields are bigger than the claws, no? Scake wise the claws are a better fit.
  11. I wasn't keen on the claw pieces they gave Cap, but having seen what he's working with in the trailer, they'e actually pretty friggin perfect.
  12. Yeah, I suspect it's a joke on Stark or Banner's part. Betty is Bruce's predominant love interest, calling it Veronica creates a Betty and Veronica parallel like the characters in the Archie comics.
  13. I have been thinking this exact thing. I even started looking for blueprints to try and start designing one myself.
  14. I doubt it. The Simpsons sets don't seem to have been all that popular, I can't see Lego gambling on a show as niche as Futurama.
  15. Reddit's lego page
  16. Am I looking at different pictures than the rest of you? These are... not great. The Sanctum looks cool, but other than that these are all wait till the price drops kinds of sets. Is that supposed to be The Milano? And are they really trying to up the piece count with the blast effect pieces?
  17. Yeah, they do sort of feel a little half arsed, like the builds are afterthoughts to minifigs they already had designed for Dimensions.
  18. Is the Nightmare rumour from a reliable source? It seems like an odd choice for Lego just content/time wise.
  19. Doctor Who is SUCH a no-brainer it makes me wonder if Lego haven't been able to secure a proper deal with the BBC.
  20. The Whomping Willow could be really cool, or a total megablocking disaster depending on the build. It's gonna be a tricky one to get right.
  21. Speaking of characters we haven't seen yet, I think we should bear in mind we'll probably see a 2nd or maybe even 3rd wave post film release. I've seen set photos suggesting certain characters will be in new -spoilery - roles, so they may save certain characters for future sets.
  22. I'm still dissapointed that the crown pieces don't have printing...
  23. For any UK people here, the George Asda site has the wave two sets available. I'm in store tomorrow, so I'll check if theyre on the shelves too.
  24. Okay, so I've been trying to moc the snake clowns: am I just a crappy builder or are they not actually possible to build as they are?
  25. I'm working on a few film studio based vignettes, one of which is a green screen set up. But I'm struggling with the right colour: does anyone have suggestions on which is a better match? The yellowish green has a better variety of parts, but seems not quite right colour wise. I'm trying to do these comparisons on a screen, which isn't helping, so could you guys suggest brick colours based on your experience?
