Jurassic Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Darth Shadowthrone replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hopefully we finally get a Mosasaur! I imagine there won’t be any valid leaks about what JW4 will include until it starts shooting -

Has there been any info on what the Barad Dur price could be in British pounds? -

Maybe the GWP set is based on the dead marshes to avoid any new molds? I think it will be a standard Nazgûl and then Frodo and Sam in different outfits to the Barad Dur figures -

Prices have been officially revealed for the UK - they are pretty reasonable except for the Avengers display set imo. Very happy that the Surtur set at £25 is only five pounds more than the battlepack, and a £45 Leviathan is pretty tempting too -

Jurassic Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Yes an Allosaurus! I really hope it’s a mid-sized dinosaur like Baryonyx and it’s not oversized like the Carno was. Regardless, two new Jurassic dinos in the same wave is a massive win! Edit: do we think the small raptor in the Stegosaurus set will be the baby or teenage raptor mold? It would be cool to get the Beta piece in a recolour like green or orange -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I almost put in an order yesterday but then I remembered that we’re almost into May and the bricks and pieces itinerary is updated monthly - could we expect a lot of pieces to be added on next month? -
Latest news about Lego animal moulds
Darth Shadowthrone replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yep looks like it! And four in the last two years including Riyu- what an amazing thing happen to happen since the og baby dragon mold was discontinued. I think better of the reason is that these are different dragons for different themes where maybe the designers worked in isolation from each other. I definitely think the dnd cmf will get that new leaked dragon mold too because the flying / horizontal dragons we’ve got this year look harder to pose on a minifigure hand compared to the sitting leaked dragon- 5,725 replies

Latest news about Lego animal moulds
Darth Shadowthrone replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think I saw a set description for a large Ninjago dragon that described a new mold for multiple small “source dragons” or spirit dragons - I think they were what this new mold was created for and it additionally found another use in this set as a statue “71822 Source dragon of fire $150 1716pcs - It is mostly red and orange, with some orange, yellow and black details. It should also have some transparent pieces for fire details. it has a new dragon head mold and big horns. the set includes the 6 other source dragons in spirit form. It has a figure who is the character featured on the Gong of Shattering. They have a new head mold with small horns, red eyes and teeth.“ It sounds like the small dragon mold we saw today will be used to portray the “source dragons. edit: over on the Ninjago discussion page there’s someone saying the source dragons will be the same mold as the new gold dragon statue but in transparent orange. Hopefully they have eye prints but if they’re transparent they might not- 5,725 replies

I don’t know if this has been discussed already, but there’s a leaked picture of the Harry Potter Aragog set, with a spider that appear to be a new colour - it looks like reddish brown instead of the nougat we’ve seen before- 5,725 replies

To change the subject somewhat, is there any news about an Acolyte set? Hopefully if there isn’t one this year there will be one in January 2025 because it would be great to get more High Republic jedi -

What are the odds that Frodo and Sam have extra pieces for their orc disguises? I wonder if the newer Viking helmet could work as an orc helmet It’s odd but I’m most excited to see the orcs - 2012 set a style for the orcs that could be massively changed considering how different they are. It would be cool if two of the orcs resembled the two who squabble over Frodo’s mithril shirt as well -

I wonder if the blue-black t-Rex could also have some use as a T-Rex at night? It did like quite blue-ish in the og rainy scene A Stegosaurus is exciting but I’m less interested if it’s sandy colours, I prefer dinos which are green or orange generally These choices and sets all sound neat but I’m holding ouT for an Allosaurus and Mosasaur, I don’t care how many years it takes… -

Wouldn’t the cave troll make more sense as a hybrid minifigure like Dr Eggman? I could see it using the Avatar legs, Hagrid arms and a specialist torso-head piece -
