  1. With the rumours of Tahu and Lloyd but otherwise normal mini figures being included I had a go at what 10 unthemed figs could be: Evil Witch Surgeon in blue scrubs Siren - evil green mermaid with clam Jade princess - china-inspired historical minifigure Coastguard minifigure with a baby shark Athlete cyclist with a new bike A Kraken knight or king with the Dragonborn paladin breastplate Metal rockstar guitarist Blackbeard Pirate with a joined hat / beard piece Orange-suited astronaut with a rover build (realistic, not classic space)
  2. I'm very very excited for this series! Miles, Gwen, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man India and 2099 are all must-haves in my opinion and I might get Peter-Parker just to complete the main roster. Part of what makes this so good is their unmasked heads being included - I'm thinking that I'll display them all suited-up and then make a vignette of them all chilling out in civilian clothes with their alternate heads and awesome hairpieces.
  3. I’m just going to buy 76972 Raptor Off-Road Escape and 76976 Spinosaurus & Quetzalcoatlus The only two must-haves for me this wave are the Spino and molded Aquilops but I really quite like both their sets - both the new raptor and Quetzalcoatlus are nice versions too
  4. On the r/legomarvelleaks subreddit there still seems to be some uncertainty about the source of this list and I think it’s very telling that loads of the instagram leakers and the r/legoleaks mods aren’t reposting it - I don’t think this list is 100% accurate
  5. I feel like this year could be when we finally get a Mosasaur! It’s almost a shame we’re guaranteed to get a new Rex in this wave seeing as there’s fewer sets this wave and so many species that haven’t been in Lego
  6. Plo Koon will have a new head mold as well, won’t he? It’ll have to be different to the old rubber one considering it will probably be the softer plastic instead
  7. Hey man, maybe just let people enjoy what they want to enjoy? In terms of the 2025 sets, I’m holding judgement until there’s more info or we see pictures. I’ve mostly been collecting clone sets or Mando stuff these last 3 or 4 years so I imagine the smaller battlepack-style sets will be on my wishlist and god knows what the turbo tank set will end up like. Im also holding out hope for an Acolyte play set based on episode 5 next year but I’m not holding my breath.
  8. I heard a rumour there would be a small mascot dinosaur so maybe it could be that brick-built like Bumpy was? Very unsubstantiated rumour but r/jurassicpark talked about a small Aquilops the size of a cat.
  9. I’ve seen on the Jurassic park subreddit that four toy listings have been leaked for Rebirth. This info is apparently from the Brazilian toy fair catalogue
  10. It’d be cool if there were enemy crew mates as well - if Pintell and Ragetti were included they could also have skeleton alternate faces. Throw in Barbossa and you could display three skeleton pirates against the Black Pearl crew or show them all working together
  11. I really hope Plo—Koon’s head is hard plastic but even if it’s like Yoda and Grogu’s at least it won’t be as rubbery as his and Fisto’s first hoods were
  12. Am I the only one who would like Balrog to have a brick-built body but a molded head? Something like Surtur or Steppenwolf in the superheroes sets - I just think the head would be hard to capture with just bricks
  13. Does anyone else feel like the different dragons could have quite different price points? If there aren’t any substantial sidebuilds I could see Toothless and Meatlug being quite small £20 - £25 sets like these Ninjago dragons: meanwhile I think Hookfang or Barf and Belch could be smaller £40 / £50 sets I’m also interested to see if there are builds for the village of Berk and the dragon-fighting arena (if it’s an important location in the new film)
  14. According to lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram, there was at one point a Yoda vs Dooku set planned for this year but it was cancelled (probably quite early in the process)
  15. I couldn’t be more excited for this! I think the Ninjago dragons and some of the brick-built Avatar creatures are a good metric for what we could expect - so if we all get all five of the main dragons they should have molded heads but brick-built bodies and legs. Im very curious to see which dragons are in a set on their own and which have side-builds such as parts of Berk, landscape builds or a Viking longship. I would say that personally I’m not expecting the live-action dragons to look very different to their animated counterparts. Obviously the live action dragons will be more detailed with different eyes and photorealistic scales, alongside muted colours probably, but as Lego often makes their brick-built animals slightly more colourful anyway I’d be surprised if Lego dragons based on the live-action film couldn’t also look similar to how they’d look if they were animated. The only giveaways that the sets are portraying the new film will be the new looks of the characters
  16. Some of the HTTYD dragons do have a distinctive look, especially Night Furies and Nadders, but I reckon a red Monstrous Nightmare would fit well in a castle display and the two-headed Zippleback could work well as a sea monster
  17. That’s amazing news! What a weird coincidence- I went to a fossil shop in the Isle of Wight and bought a mosasaur tooth I should have bought a Spinosaurus tooth as well, maybe then we’d get one of those in Lego too!
  18. Don’t get me wrong it’d be amazing if the Old Gaffer’s hole or the mill and bridge were to be made I just think it’s unlikely, In terms of minifigures the mouth of Sauron is a good example of the potential for obscure hobbits in the new set
  19. I can understand Bag End being a sole set for the Shire - there’s not enough screen time for other parts of Hobbiton to warrant sets and I could see this set including a green area outside for the cart and a tent for the party scene Im really hoping we get more sets for 2026 - Lego set approvals can be quite sluggish but just like for dnd they should see the appetite for more and therefore increase the amount of sets they make. Either that or we get a full-fledged castle theme at long-last
  20. There’s lots more reviews of the dnd cmf online - I’m looking forward to seeing more mixed-up combinations and characters that can be made with the different pieces
  21. It’s a shame minifigure madness don’t do single boxes for sale - I’d like to have 3 sets of each figure for customising and to share with my brothers but I don’t particularly feel like I need 72 dnd minifigures
  22. Some of the costumes are very fantastical and bright but some are pretty down-to-earth and realistic - the yellow guy, vampire and dwarf Barbarian would all fit into standard historical scenes with different heads
  23. It wasn’t clear from the render, but there’s some great capes here too! The halfling, Strahd, the lady of pain and Szass Tam all look like they have really unique cloaks
  24. That’s the same price as the horse for something which uses much less plastic, which is annoying. Sheep are dual-molded and they cost £1.50!
  25. maybe this is more 2025 discussion but I’m 100% positive we’ll get Acolyte sets now. The unanimously positive response to episode 5 means that, even if Lego weren’t designing sets in advance, they are definitely planning sets now - just like with Ahsoka and Mando season 3 sets from this year they’ll just come out a bit later. Hopefully the rubbed-off look is just stylistically for the show so that the only difference in the new figure is the dark bluish grey torso - I want Lego to really undermine the scalping reseller market at every opportunity
