I'm pretty sure Morro died years after the Serpentine War, since Morro met Wu after Garmadon went to train with Chen and left before he came back. I think Morro just got cursed while looking for the tomb somehow.- 4,591 replies

Oh, you mentioned when they were inside the game, so I thought you meant the Digiverse. And yeah, that's an okay theory.. but it could also be applied to every other fictional universe where time doesn't pass in real-time. It works, yeah, but... it's a little confusing. Wouldn't it be that less time passes in Ninjago than the real world?- 4,591 replies

Less than a year is still a pretty long time to be out of the action after fighting skeletons and snakes and stone people back to back. Not very long, but long enough to be bored with peace. They haven't really said anything that contradicts them being teenagers. I kinda wish he didn't give those age estimations... they can't be younger than 19 because of the time he gave, and they can't be older because Not Allowed To Grow Up is in play. It's.. kinda limiting. Not limiting for the story of course, but it limits the amount of time that can pass any further.. and even then, it doesn't, they can do what they want, but it'd be stretching Suspension of Disbelief, unless they retcon their ages down a year or two. Still though, officially, just vague late teens, and the story, as the show presents itself, doesn't contradict that. And, at the end of the day: You mean in the Digiverse? That doesn't seem possible. It was only a small part of Rebooted, and it's not like we were following the ninja the whole time, we saw what was going on outside. I doubt it took Overlord very long to absorb Lloyd's Golden Power, and that the others could protect the ninja's bodies from the Nindroids for an extended period of time. I know about those theories. I can't wait to see what mechanics about elemental powers HoT will explain.- 4,591 replies

Close, that means Rebooted-Skybound took place in two years, since his new body was built at the end. I wonder how much time the Rebooted-ToE gap takes out of that.. I guess over a year., more or less. And he said Pixal is 3-4 years old, and was made in between Season 2 and Rebooted, so, I guess that means Ninjago as a whole takes place in 3-4 years. Three years makes the most sense, since Kai was at least 16 in the pilot-Season 2, and four would cause him to be twenty, which is a no-no. Three years since the beginning, Kai, Jay, and Cole are 19, Nya is 17, Lloyd is 12-14 years old, and Zane is 40+. I think it's all figured out now.. Maybe Dr. Julien was involved in the Serpentine War in some way? Something to do with the Master of Ice, maybe..- 4,591 replies

Clouse already returned in Skybound. Only reason Morro and Chen are able to come back, is because he's going to be brought back by Yang, so... technically anyone could. Doesn't mean everyone would.- 4,591 replies

"Smith" originated from the blooper reel short, so it wasn't a fan invention. Though neither the writers nor Tommy Andreasen consider it his last name in canon. -

I doubt they'd explain something like that. The characters will probably just call him "Master Wu" like they've always been doing it. -

It hasn't been directly confirmed, but according to the Hagemans, we get a special, and then a season. We know DoD is a special, so the implication is that Hands of Time is the season we're getting.- 4,591 replies

Double checked, yeah, he said 14-15. https://twitter.com/...534501198393345 He also said there's nothing specific though, so meh, probably best to just think of them as eternal teenagers. True, true. It's just fun to think about. It makes the characters feel more alive, even if it's just an illusion and they're ageless cartoon characters. Still, Andreasen implied they've aged since the pilot, as vague as he is about it. But yeah, they'll most likely always be teenagers.- 4,591 replies

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

He said she was 14-15 actually, but since he also said she's 2-3 years younger than Kai (which would make him either 16-17, or 17-18 in the beginning) who is about the same age as Cole and Jay, the series can only take place in the span of 2-3 years. Maybe nearly 4. If they plan to keep them teens (which they most likely do) then depending on how long the series goes, seasons are gonna have to not be very far apart. Kinda like they're doing now, I think? Possession couldn't have been that far from ToE, since Morro was already out and he's not exactly the patient type, so maybe a few weeks a most? Skybound is completely up in the air since Possession had no cliffhanger or hints that lead to any implications, so.. a few months? The pilot and Season 1 could've been a week or two, maybe a month. Season 1 and Season 2 are definitely no more than a day or two apart. I used to think between Season 2 and Rebooted was the largest skip (fanon says it's about two years, but I'm not sure where that came from, and the fanbase has a tendency to spread misinformation like wildfire..), but then Tommy Andreasen said that Rebooted to Tournament of Elements was the longest one, and Season 2-Rebooted actually wasn't that long. So, I guess that means Season 2-Rebooted would be a few or several months, and Rebooted-ToE a year or more. I guess Chen was setting up the tournament that whole time, and Zane and Pixal were just... there. And Borg just didn't care that Pixal was missing that whole time because.. she's just a robot? So, I think that the time skips are: MoS-RotS: A few weeks RotS-Season 2 (Rise of the Spinjitzu Master?): 1-2 days Season 2-Rebooted: About half a year Rebooted-ToE: Over a year ToE-Possession: Almost two weeks Possession-Skybound: 3-4 months So, in total, in my opinion, it's been about two years since the beginning of the series. Which is... really small, but, eh. I might have gotten something wrong though..- 4,591 replies

But, the more realistic parts look LEGO size.

With how great the animation looks, I don't get how anyone could think it'll be bad at this point. I mean, most of the complaints boil down to: "It's different, therefore it is bad" and "Wu's fighting a chicken". Actually, those are all the complaints I've seen.
