Thanks for the suggestions! I imagined it more Scotland-based, but adding a little of Ireland should work perfectly! BTW, welcome back! I hope the situation is better for you now, and to see Count Mesabi bringing back some chaos to the brick seas!

Hi guys! I don’t properly need a GM input, but for the next part I’ll need a player from Corrington to shape better the dialogue and the customs of the inhabitants of Tam. Here you can find the beginning of the story:
-
Driftwood Bay, October 620, Isle of Tam The first weeks of the journey went smoothly, almost without story. The weather was reasonably good and the winds were favourable... the season of the storms was still far. The ship crossed the Persus Channel and doubled the Eastern tip of Namere, entering the Great Northern Ocean. Jean-Luc visited several of the small Northern ports, taking notes about the harbour capacity and about possible dangers. He had meetings with an infinity of minor local authorities, usually in the form of a tavern talk. People always asked him news about the East but, port after port, Jean-Luc realised that the islands “beyond the line” were merging in a single confused entity, made of eternal summer, hostile savages and exotic marvels. The Isle of Tam was the first real stop of their long journey. With his position, right East of the Great Northern Gulf, it represented an almost obliged port of call for the route they were trying to establish. Decades ago the island was an independent nation and an ally of Oleon, until Corrish Royal Marines occupied the capital city during the last months of the Forty-Nine Years War. Corrington had to face a long and stubborn resistance of the locals, but a fair government and the engagement of the local clans in the main decisions finally conquered -more or less- the hearts of the inhabitants: most of them still spit to the ground when talking about Belson or the Parliament, but Queen Annetta had become quite popular, and almost nobody talked seriously about independence before the third pint of beer. Or, at least, this was what his guide had told him during the last weeks of dull northward sailing. Lieutenant Norbert had never visited Tam before: the island was out of the main commercial routes, that basically ended in the rich port of Dortanis... if his mission had been successful, however, the island would soon be flushing with Mokolei diamonds, silk, and spices! After half an hour of rowing, they finally arrived in the "port" of Tam, actually a small rocky bay dotted with old piers. The small rowboat tilted on the waves of the Northern Ocean... they had arrived in the North in full summer, but the sea already seemed far wilder and colder even since they doubled the Northern tip of Namere. Now, with the autumn advancing, this impression was definitely confirmed! The small landing party was greeted by a huge number of sea birds, who probably found the barren shore quite comfortable, and by a patrol of soldiers. Curiously, nobody of them had a red coat: instead, they all wore a sort of checkered blanket and a leather brigandine. One of them, probably the leader, stepped forward and waved friendlily. "Welcome on Tam, foreigners! Which news from the East?" -asked the man, speaking Corrish with a heavy accent- "And what brings you on our island?" "Thank you Sir!" Replied the Oleander officer, silently praying that the rickety pier didn't collapse under his feet. "Poseidon blessed us with no storms during the last weeks, and the weather is perfect for traders. The pirate Zublius von Wreck was captured and hanged by the Eslandolans in the Sea of Storms, and Carno is winning the war against the Lotii, far in the New Haven Region." A stronger wave hit the pier, throwing foam on his boots. The whole structure creaked. "Oh, don't worry Sir!" -told a soldier, probably noticing his discomfort- "the old pier has seen far worse, and won't fall apart today!" The old pier answered creaking even stronger. Not reassured at all, Jean-Luc continued: "About the reasons bringing me here, Oleon is considering an extension towards the West of the Northern Trading Route... I would like to talk with the rulers of Tam about that." "Do you mean the Chiefs? Come with me, foreigners, you'll enjoy our hospitality! We don't have guests so often, and everyone likes the tales from the New World, here on the Grey Rock. Maybe the Corrish Governor will join too." Everything was going even better than he expected, thought Jean-Luc before sending the rowboat to take a few gifts from the Phènix. The journey, however, was still quite long: sooner or later somebody would have shot them on sight, instead of inviting them to dinner, or they would have met only miles and miles of frozen coast, with no human beings at all... Heading further West, after all, didn't seem that great idea. An overall view ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the first real step of Lieutenant Norbert's long journey, the Island of Tam (or at least I suppose it to be Tam, please correct me if I'm mistaken!). I don't know when the journey will continue (post lockdown period is very, very busy for me), but I'll try to do it as soon as possible! EDIT: I planned this to take place in Yeldo, that I thought to be on the island of Tam... clarified the mistake, and considering that (real ) winter is not that far, I’ll keep my expedition here, hoping to reach the Great Alliance States before (real) December. I’ll later fill the gaps with the Captain’s Log, but what I’ve built fits definitely better with the actual position of Tam than with the one of Yeldo.

It depends on what you build, with some flexibility: if you build the hut in the middle of a cutting wood, you have a plantation; if you have a sawing mill, or several men producing planks in series, you have a factory; if you have a single man building a table, or cutting down a tree, probably you have an artisan -
[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa
Keymonus replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Credit to @Bodi for the build: A few hours later, three militiamen escorted a prisoner in King's Port. Everyone from the city gates to the Archdukal Palace could see a prisoner in red uniform, a foreign agent captured on the free land of Terraversa. Rumours started to spread like fire in a cotton field: a foreigner had been captured...a smuggler! No, definitely a spy... somebody said that Corrington had landed a company in Nola Mar, others said that a Corrish fleet was blockading the settlement... or had Nola Mar already been invaded? No, the prisoner was captured there... maybe he was planning the invasion! These, however, were mere rumours. The only certain things were that the prisoner was immediately escorted to Oldis' Palace and that the guards were particularly smiling, as if they had been handsomely paid. To his Eminence Archduke Miro Oldis, Hero of Terraversa and Rightful Ruler of our Nation I will not hide you that the situation in Nola Mar is evolving in a concerning way. Despite our efforts to crack down smuggling, little schooners and sloops continue to moor along the whole Skull Coast, in particular between Nola Mar and Westface. Mounted squadrons of our militia patrol the jungle trails and we established several roadblocks all around the town, but we are almost sure that a large number of delivers are still happening right outside our range, even in this very moment. Without the intervention of Westace fleet, in fact, those criminals can move freely along the whole coast and disappear with their cargoes in secret hideouts. We always suspected that these smugglers might have some type of backing from aristocrats trying to escape port taxes or form wealthy foreign merchants, but what we discovered is far behind our worst hypotheses: by complete chance, we caught a smuggling sloop, run aground by one of the last storms. The crew had escaped, but onboard we found the cargo, several barrels of gunpowder and eight caskets of muskets... 597-model Middleton muskets, directly from Corrington! What is worse, we strongly suspect that Grand Admiral L'Olius is involved in the traffic. Westface militias are reported to be particularly active, and several training camps are rumoured to exist in the jungle... and if L'Olius is raising a private army, he surely needs more weapons. I frankly fear that Grand Admiral L'Olius is a traitor, plotting with a foreign nation to overthrow your rightful rule on Terraversa. A month ago we captured a foreign spy, who sneaked into Nola Mar and carried documents signed by L'Olius himself. After a few weeks, a fleet from Corrington started intimidatory acts, blockading our port and menacing to seize ships "in case of irregularities"... they even sent a landing party of armed marines, in a clear show of force. With the fleet of Westface inactive in the East, and the militias of that city "ignoring" the activities of the smugglers, I strongly suspect that L'Olius' knows well what is happening and that his loyalty goes to Queen Annetta. I will continue to reinforce the defences of the settlement, both towards the sea and towards Westface, but I don't know if we could resist a full-scale assault of Corrington forces... in that case, may the gods help us all The Mayor of Nola Mar P.S. Together with the letter, I send you the pieces of evidence we collected: -2 (two) 597-model Middleton muskets, part of the smuggled cargo -1 (one) patent allowing free movement on the island, issued by Grand Admiral L'Olius to a foreign spy -5 (five) written reports about smuggling activity, smuggling ships and movements of L'Olius' militias -1 (one) foreign spy, claiming to be a Captain Jonathan Cooke of Corrington Royal Navy -1 (one) written report about the blockade of Nola Mar port, the landing of Corrish marines and other intimidatory acts -
[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa
Keymonus replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The customs officers drank a sip of rum, thinking about the umpteenth dull day ahead. After the establishment of port taxes in both Westface and King's Port, the international trades to Terraversa had dropped, and with them also the movement of merchants and goods between the two main cities of the island. Well, at least that day it was not raining. Before the glorious Terraversan revolution, customs duties were collected in a small building, right at the roadside. At the time, unjust and oppressive taxes were collected to administer the Mardierian colony of Terraversa by the loyal governor Miro Oldis... so the building was burned down by an angry mob, with two rioters and three civilians killed in the skirmish. Now the same taxes were collected for the needs of the independent nation of Terraversa by Miro Oldis, the hero of the Independence War, but the customs officers didn't have a roof over them anymore. "Lieutenant... A knight is arriving from south!" After the lockdown of Nola Mar, travellers on the coastal roads had become quite rare... just farmers going to King's Port to sell something, or Atwi merchants trying to exchange tobacco and trinkets with alcohol and iron tools. "Good morning Sirs. Quite a lovely day, isn't it?" The man was calm and relaxed, as if coming back and forth from Nola Mar was something absolutely normal. And, for sure, he was neither a farmer nor a wandering native, but his accent was definitely Terraversan. "Well... yes, quite a nice day." Replied the guard, feeling a little uncomfortable. There was something disquieting in the behaviour of the foreigner... despite his friendly words, for some reason he seemed a dangerous man. "Any news fro Nola Mar?" "Unfortunately yes... something that can badly endanger our nation! Don't spread too much the rumours, but a foreign spy was caught in the settlement. I shouldn't tell you, but Corrington is smuggling weapons to Grand Admiral L'Olius. Hundreds of muskets, small cannons, kegs of gunpowder... but keep this for yourselves." Meanwhile, the officer had left the bottle and was listening with interest too. The "secret", probably, would have lasted no more than the time required to walk from the customs house to the nearest tavern. The man in black continued: "A patrol is arriving from Nola Mar, bringing the spy and a parcel for the Archduke. Please, gather here a small escort and bring te spy directly to Oldis. you have two hours." "But..." The officer tried to reply, confused and with several more questions. "Gather here a patrol in two hours and you will receive another of these. One of these each." Saying this, he threw them a little, jingling purse. With no more words, he mounted on horseback and rode southwards. The officers couldn't see him, but now he was definitely smiling. -
[OL - A-MCRA] Travels to Terraversa
Keymonus replied to Captain Genaro's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice build @Bregir! I'll comment better in the AMRCA "Travels to Terraversa- the bad imitation" ----------------------------------------------------------------------- A small patrol left Nola Mar, headed towards King's Port. The "coastal road" was nothing more than a trail in the jungle, but both horses and men knew very well the route: a long, uncomfortable ride towards Pamu, then the paved roads of the Kingshead District would have made the journey far smoother. Little more than a pleasant stroll, at least for the soldiers. Their "guest" was a little less happy. He had received a fine red jacket, almost identical to the one worn by Corrish officers, and was given a horse; he was treated well, and all his personal items, excluding the weapons, were returned... however, he perfectly understood the situation. He was still a prisoner, even if they had spared him the humiliation of chains or handcuffs. And, even worse, hundreds of Terraversans would soon have seen a foreign officer in full uniform, captured on Terraversan soil. Rumors would have spread like hay fire in Pamu and Kings Port, rumors about what the Corrish soldiers were spying or plotting on the island. Moreover, his safe-conduct, signed by L'Olius, would have caused him more troubles than advantages in King's Port, since the Archduke would probably have considered that a personal outrage. What angered Captain Cooke most, however, was that he simply could do nothing about that. His horse was older and slower than the ones of his guards, and he always had a loaded musket behind his back. "Don't worry, Corrie!" told him the officer, who spoke Corrish language with a heavy accent. "We won't slaughter you in the jungle. You asked to meet our leaders... well, you are going to meet the ruler of Terraversa himself. Explaining why you were plotting with his rival, however, could be a little more difficult!" Captain Cooke didn't bother to answer, even if he would have gladly smashed that annoying smile. At least, he wasn't taken out of jail for a summary execution and wasn't handled to the roaring crowd... and that was already something good! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I hope you like this little build... stay tuned for the next part, death of a spy a little bribe. I tried following the rules about the interference with other players' storylines, but please let me know if here (or in the next part, that I will publish tomorrow) you find problems/you want me to remove something. -

Settlement: Astrapi, Île de Zeus, Oleon
Keymonus replied to Capn Frank's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A nitrary, licensed as a small factory -
Gunpowder made its appearance in Madrician wars centuries ago, at least since the War that Forgot to End. With time, cannons replaced the loud but ineffective bombards, muskets and rifles took the place of hand-cannons and arquebuses. Firearms became finally more dangerous for the enemy than for the user, and started deciding the result of battles and wars: while in the Forty-Nine Years War pikemen still had a place on the battlefield, in the Juniper War, only a decade later, they had completely disappeared. The obvious consequence of this evolution is that, year after year, armies and navies are requiring more and more gunpowder and, accordingly, more and more raw materials are needed to cope with the demand. As you probably know, the gunpowder in a powder horn, or in the ammunition store of a ship, is a finely ground mixture of saltpeter, sulfur and charcoal. What you probably don’t know, however, is how difficult can be finding or producing the three ingredients: charcoal can be easily obtained burning wood in a buried pit, but sulfur can only be found in a few volcanic areas, such as Astrapi, Charlatan Bay and, as recently discovered, El Oleonda. About saltpeter, well, here you are! For centuries, this white salt was scratched off the walls of caves, cellars, wineries, stables and even latrines, obtaining only little quantities of material, usually of barely acceptable quality. The few mines scattered in Madrician Peninsula, in the Mokolei Empire and in the New World represent the main source of this precious mineral, but their yield is still quite low. However, saltpeter (or potassium nitrate, in modern terms) can also be produced with a complex and quite unpleasant process, probably one of the most disgusting things in the civilized world. Everything begins with carts full of “organic materials”, meaning vegetable waste, garbage, manure, dirty straw from the stables, residues from tanneries or slaughterhouses and so on. The disgusting blend is thrown in a pit lined with stone tiles and mixed thoroughly with earth and ashes. After several days, enough material has accumulated in the pit, and the next step of the process can begin: the material is piled in a fresh and shady place and is kept constantly moist with water and urine. Each nitrary (that is a saltpeter factory) employs a different method for the piling: in general, experience showed that better airflow results in a higher yield. Here, the workers mold the material in small bricks and pile it in a sort of wall, protected from rain and direct sunlight. What happens next remained a mystery for centuries: in their comfortable and warm homes, billions and billions of bacteria live and proliferate, fuelling their tiny lives by slowly turning ammonia and amino acids into valuable nitrates. After a year or two, the transformation process is complete: the workers can so recover the disgusting “bricks”, now simple clods of earth, and begin the extraction process. The material is washed several times with the same water, obtaining a concentrated solution rich in salts. Wood ashes are usually poured inside the solution since this seems to “improve saltpeter quality”, even if the workers don’t know why: actually the potassium carbonate contained converts most of the nitrates in potassium nitrate (the best saltpeter) while removing the useless calcium and magnesium. In the last step, the solution is further refined with a long boiling, that removes other unwanted salts, and then is dried with the aid of the tropical sun. For sure this is not a job for sensitive stomachs since a nitrary can be smelled from miles away… however, at the only cost of some water and some wood, disgusting garbage is converted into a strategic resource, ready to feed the ever-hungry gunpowder mills. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first process-build since a loooong time... I hope you enjoy it! I tried to depict all the essential phases (probably I should have chosen a simpler thing... or a bigger base ). With a gunpowder mill and a brimstone quarry, I think that Astrapi is the best location for this little, smelly step towards "fireworks". To be licensed as a small factory (34x22 longer side, 34x18 shorter side)

Great job Ayrlego! it required for sure a lot of effort, and a considerable amount of time, but what you made gave back a meaning to earning or losing hundreds of dubloons. BTW, it seems that several settlements and players have gone broke... I expect an interesting future!
-
Colonial Admiralty of Breshaun, July 620, Le Bellan Lieutenant Jean-Luc Norbert walked along the main street of Breshaun, trying to remain as much as possible in the shade of the luxurious palaces. He couldn't help but notice how much the settlement had grown since his first visit, several years ago... but, since then, several things had changed, and a whole new world had been discovered. Maybe he would have had some time to visit the wonders of the city, such as the Poseidon Garden, later... Now, he had far more important things to do. When he arrived at the Colonial Admiralty, he was immediately directed to the office of Colonel Artaud. He didn't know exactly what to expect, but the letter waiting for him in Weelond and the lack of queueing suggested something very important, and probably quite a rip-off for him! He pulled him together, knocked on the door, and entered... just to find out that another officer was still presenting his report. "Sir, Colonel Artaud... I'm sorry to interrupt you! I was told you were waiting for me, but I'll return later." -said Lieutenant Norbert with embarrassment. "Forgive us, Lieutenant... our meeting took a little longer than expected! General Rimbaud was reporting to me about the situation on El Oleonda. You can remain if you want... after all, you played a role in this story too, bringing his dispatches from Fatu Hiva to Lavalette. Tristan, please, go on." Colonel Artaud had theoretically a lower rank than General Rimbaud, but his role in the Colonial Intelligence made him one of the most powerful men in the whole New World. Tristan Rimbaud greeted the Lieutenant with a nod and continued: "As I was saying, the operation was completed as planned. We arrived on the island without... unpleasant meetings and we established a foothold on the Northern Coast. Several expeditions resupplied in Fort Arltrees before heading into the jungle, and the settlement is growing: Lieutenant Dubois informed me that in a few months he will be able to consolidate our position on the island, forming a militia with the colonists. However, an artillery company from Fatu Hiva could be useful to strengthen our claims." Tristan pointed at a map. "Our expedition followed this river towards the interior, finding ruins of an ancient civilization. Even more importantly, we found clues about a lost Lotii treasure... for what we know, most of it is still in a dozen shipwrecks, scattered on shallow reefs along the Southern Coast. Here you can find the position of some of them, at least if you can read Lotii. This map was kindly provided by one of their officers." His tone suggested that it wasn't exactly a gift. "Thank you, General, I congratulate on this success. I'll read all the details of your report. You can go now, but I ask you to remain in Breshaun: soon you'll receive new orders." Most of the untold details, Jean-Luc imagined, were probably classified... he had heard strange rumors about bands of Oleander rebels siding with the Lotii, brutal Vikendian mercenaries coming from the far North, and a whole native tribe converted to the Faith; probably exaggerations, he thought, but the New World was actually quite strange. Colonel Artaud interrupted his thoughts: "Now, let's come to the real topic of today. I called you from Weelond with a certain urgency, so you probably are wondering why. Well, monsieur Lieutenant, what do you know about the North? I mean, the Great North, from Altonia to the lands of the Great Raider?" For sure, this was an unexpected question. With a whole New World to discover, the exotic Mokolei Empire, and the mysterious Kingdom of the Lotus, nobody really cared about the North, nothing more than a long rocky coast scattered with fishing villages, barren islands and whaling ports. All the main Madrician nations had a small fleet in those waters, but nothing significant had happened there since the Vikendian raids, centuries before. "It's quite a cold place, Sir" -he replied, immediately feeling like an idiot- "The main trading routes end in Altonia, then there are only fishing boats and small ships loaded with wood, wheat and salted cod, nothing more. I have been in the Northern fleet for a short period, hunting for Pontillan pirates, but we only captured one xebec in two years." The colonel nodded with a half-smile... probably he didn't like the North that much too. "I agree with you, basically there is nothing interesting. Whale oil, furs, and amber are valuable, salted cod and hard cheese are useful for our navy, but there are no spices, tobacco, or exotic goods... at least, not yet." "What do you mean, Sir?" Nine out of ten, that was the reason for his convocation "I'll go straight to the point, Lieutenant Norbert. Only a few years ago, we knew of the rich overseas territories of Mardier, but we had no chance to reach those blessed islands. We colonized Le Bellan, but our ships simply couldn't cross the Ocean without a stop in Terraversa, and the island was closed to foreigners. So, if we couldn't reach the New World from the East, we tried going West. As you can imagine, a navigable passage in the North-West would have provided us with huge advantages, such as easy access to Western Mokolei, to the Forbidden Kingdoms in the South, possibly to the New World itself. So, we decided to organize an expedition: in the summer of 613, Captain Francois Crozier left Arcadia with sixty men. Their ship, the schooner Terreur, was last seen in late 614 by a Varcosian whaling ship... then nothing. We organized two expeditions, but we didn't find anything." "So... you are asking me to find a ship lost six years ago in a largely unexplored ocean? It is an impossible task, Sir!" Exclaimed Lieutenant Norbert. For sure, wandering in the North for years, looking for a sunk ship was not his greatest ambition. "Calm down, Lieutenant. The ship was actually found a few months ago, stuck in a bank of floating ice... and luckily by an Oleander ship. The captain and the crew were not there, and probably they all died before reaching civilization. However, they left a message on the ship: the first paper contained a few words, a series of locations, the plan of abandoning the ship and heading southwards, while the second, probably taken from the ship log, was barely readable, apart from the words "We found it!" and some incomplete coordinates, partly erased by moisture. Below, there was a short note asking to bring everything to an Oleander officer. They also left a little reward for the finder: a diamond and a purse of gold coins... golden Mokolei coins!" The colonel paused for a moment, giving Jean-Luc some time to metabolize everything. "So, you are saying that... that they actually found the North-West passage, Sir?" "I'm saying that this is possible and that it is worth investigation. This will be your task. You must also identify some safe harbors along the coast, should you actually find a route to the Western Ocean. You will receive some guides and interpreters, and a copy of the message found on le Terreur; in Northern Oleon you'll find fresh supplies, but west of Varcoast you will basically be alone. Find the remains of the expedition and the ship log, or head directly West, this is up to you." "Just a question, Sir... Why should we start from Breshaun, and not directly from Northern Oleon?" "The answer is very simple. The ships of the Northern Fleet are mostly small and quite old, while the few good battleships we have there are essential for our balance of force with the Northern Corrish Navy. This will cost us a few months, this is true, but will also define the best harbors. Unfortunately, all the members of our expeditions had probably died soon after that message was written, and dead men have no hurry. Now go, Lieutenant Jean-Luc Norbert, you have an expedition to prepare... and prepare it well or, in two years, I'll have to send another expedition to look for yours!" After a few more details were discussed, Jean-Luc took his leave, a list of bloody swears in his mind. As usual, an order from Colonel Artaud couldn't be discussed... but in this case, the orders were a great, complete rip-off! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I waited until the end of the challenge (more or less) but, finally, my AMRCA can actually start. It will involve the ship Le Phénix, class 4, that will leave Breshaun in a few days (it actually is in Weelond, but waiting a full MRCA turn to bring it to Breshaun would be too much). It required longer than expected, but here you can see the photos of the second part of my AMRCA. I hope you'll forgive me a little jump since the next part will be already in the Northern Ocean: actually building a visit in every port from Breshaun to the North-West would literally take ages! If anybody wants to join the expedition, you can join here regardless of your nationality! Great adventures are ahead, adventures in distant lands, and among people never met before! PS: The organizer of the expedition discharges any responsibility for minor injuries to the participants, including but not limited to frostbites, bear mauling, scurvy, drowning, sacrifice by hostile natives, encounters with wolfpacks, starvation or violent death. Cannibalism may be considered acceptable, should the situation require but, in that case, a regular draw is ensured before.

A Tale of Revenge - Part 2: Heretic!
Keymonus replied to Corweena's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very dark times have occurred in Oleon! Although in your storyline Oleon soldiers and clerics appear to be the “bad guys”, the fact that you specified that those things happened in the past, and only in some rural areas, perfectly fits in my opinion with our nation lore: we had persecutions and nobles who opposed to this barbaric acts (such as the new king, Rimbaud family and many others), we had real heretic groups who tried to overthrow the king and unjust condemnations, modern cities and semi feudal areas... as probably all the other nations. Both the building and the story are very nice, the walls in particular are very well done! A tiled floor would be nice, but in my opinion it works anyways. I’m looking forward to seeing the next part! -

Oh, so I have to give up my false-flag project of redcoat scalp-hunters and skinners? What a pity! Pun apart, is nice to see some organized groups and original variations in the free traders' faction, something similar to @Kwatchi's Ashen Guard or @Roadmonkeytj's Charlatan Bay militia... real pirates never organized actual states or military units, but a rich merchant or landlord could have tried to establish private overseas empires, even if nobody did that. About the build: the boat, as others said, is very nice, as well as minifig posing. Adding some trans-clear or blue plates here and there could have been nice, but the water works well anyways for me. Nice job, even if that unnecessary cruelty is... well... great! -

Lovely facade and nice story, the interior is a little barren but minifig posing compensates well! About the rumors that your character overheard... they are absolutely fake news! The fact that your men are only a couple of mariners aggregated to a Lotii patrol, rather than an actual contingent or a mercenary force, was a clever move to show the "other side" of the war without directly facing the Carnites, your Oleonese compatriots or, even worse, our friends from Corrington, Eslandola or the Free Islands... that would have been a real pity!
