I modified a #41129 Hot Dog Van with more traditional colors and am going to include it around the carousel from #10235 Winter Village Market in that area instead of the stand I had before. I am like you I am constantly on the look out for what to include.

While this train could have been so much better I think it fits in well with the Winter Village. It wasn't something I had to purchase on 9/15 but it is worth getting on 10/1 once the promo is out. Certainly can't wait to get my village up and running again.

This is great! Also a little detail that I love is the logo sticker on the door. Now I have something to do with my extras from 60051 for my Winter Village station.

Henrico County, VA has yellow fire engines. Some of the surrounding area may to, but I grew up thinking they were all yellow.

I used 12 2 x 2 Curved Slopes over some filler bricks and added one more 1 x 4 x 1-1/3 to close in the opening. The only thing I haven't done yet is convert the ladder to a door. I have the rest of the wall closed in with windows and am just using the ladder as a ramp right now.

I did the same and modified the color scheme as well as closing off the top to make it rounded over an actual bun. I am going to use it as a food truck in my village for Christmas this year.

^ I have actually, planned on getting two plus a few parts to modify it a bit, I have been banking VIP points all year to cover them. For the train station I saw the one you created (in lead me here to EB) and I used that as a starting point with some modifications so it will fit in with my other items. I like some of the other ideas on your link though. I am going to have to make some major BL sales to cover the costs of all these bricks!

Hello everyone, I got back into Lego not long after my daughter was born, so probably 5 years ago now. Mainly collecting minifgures and crafting a large, for me (6' x 4') Winter Village. I added Lego trains to the mix last year by adding a couple of 60051s to the village. I came across this forum in search if inspiration to replace the modern train station with one that fits more inline with the theme of the village. So far it has not disappointed me!
