  1. It's not a new worm gear, it was used once before in that set with the small dump truck, excavator, and front-end loader. It was in the front end loader, it was part of the arm lifting system. EDIT: This piece right here.
  2. Any idea when this review'll be published?
  3. At a guess, how much of this is BWE parts? And how many of the non-BWE parts are functional and how many are decorative?
  4. I've had some broken Lego parts myself. In the 8263 Snow Groomer, nearly all the parts that had an axle attachment where the middle was thinner than the sides, such as this: http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6536&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 cracked on the axle holder. I had to get new parts of every single one of those types of parts. Those're the only damaged parts I've had in Technic. I've had no damaged system parts, and an unbelievable number of damaged Bionicle parts, but the original ball joints were infamous for breaking. And all of my sets are from 2003 onward.
  5. That'd be interesting to try. It might take forever for me to figure it out, but it'd be interesting to try.
  6. Crud. Ah well, still be cool to look at pictures, plus I'm sure there will be plenty of 42055 C-models developed.
  7. Is this going to be built with only 42055 parts, or will you use parts from other sets? So far, this looks pretty interesting and I'd love to build it, but I don't have many Technic sets so I don't have a large stock of parts. Other than the BWE, of course.
  8. I think I speak for us all when I say I eagerly anticipate it.
  9. This is very unique. It kind of reminds me of the older Technic models, such as the control center II or whatever that set was called.
  10. I only had a couple square feet to build on, so I did the same as Error404 and higgins91, I just built it bag by bag. I got this set for the looks and parts. I don't have very many Technic sets, so I figured this would be a good set to get an instant stockpile. I also hoped (and still do hope) that this would be the rebuilt set of this wave, the set that people devise 101 MOCs for, like the 24 hour race car was for 2015.
  11. Couldn't you just increase the height of A's discharge, use a longer beam as the support beam? And then move the hopper up slightly? I'm not done building mine, so I don't know if that would work or not.
  12. This is a unique idea, different from the vehicles most often associated with Technic. Do you think you could put this on Rebrickable or create instructions? I'm very curious to make this myself.
  13. I just got mine in the mail. I knew the box was big, but this is more massive than I expected! Time to start building tonight!
  14. I'm assuming the base takes more technic parts than are actually used in the BWE. Is there a way to easily figure out what extra parts are needed?
  15. That tripod base looks really cool. Are any of the system parts necessary for the design, or are they just the icing on top?
  16. I'm a new account, but I've been lurking for a while, especially in this topic. I just ordered my BWE from Jet last night and it should get here this week! Woo-hoo!
