Today i recieved my prices.everything in great condition.except the winner certificate.that one will be shipped seperately. I am in halleluja right now. I never thought my entree will be a winning entree. Thanx all the kind comments on my model. And thanx, Rebrick. It inspired me to build more supercars. Techniccrack

A modern Porsche dont have the "Porsche" look because only the headlights. Ok, its recognizable as "Porsche" with the round headlights, but theres more in a Porsche car so people say: "hey thats a Porsche!" (think about frontgrill, averal shape, spoiler shape and type and so on. Older models has more variations in the models, but always with the curvy shape that all porsches have. But indeed its hard to accomplish that. I tried it with my entree (906 anniversary) and i think it worked out well for me. I tried to get the porsche curves in it and with use of the contest theme (".....so i build it myself). so a modern automatic rising spoiler on a old car. If i did not made it to the semifinals, i will be happy with the building experience. It was great and learned a lot...

I did anything to get the parts i need for my model, Like ZUX said. Brickowl, bricklink, ebay, a and a distrubitor in my area. indeed its not that hard.

Theres nothing wrong with yr building skils.because its awesome. But i think yr not in the last 20.because it looks to much like the 42056 set( the shape of it(rear for example) But thats my guessing. You did a proper job here.well done!

The build of existing models or nonexisting ones,that part is not something a have a problem with.only the part of use old builds

Its definitely a great design that Porsche 917k no 23.. But it reminds me at the fact that old models seems to be allowed to enter in the rebrick contest. This model is now a semi finalist.and its really a winner design.but old..from long ago...not made for the contest...anyone get my point here?

Because(i think) it is a rendered model.not real.i think the judges prefer real models
