Thank-you Mister Bowie. STILL the best solo artist in the world.

"Support!" Haldor dodges the swing of one of the machines' claw, but it grazes his shoulder lightly, but it is enough to put him off his attack. Noticing a few of his allies fare worse than him, the nord takes cover and heals Dyric Rone from the back row.

Maybe there is a reason for that... But seriously, it's more fun for everyone if Arthur interacts with players, not just the NPCs. And part of the reason that I think that people don't tend to like talking to Arthur is because of his 1000 word walls of text. Yes, they are deep and interesting, but a post of that size is nigh impossible to respond to, which kills the conversation dead. And not every character enjoys turning up to be lectured about chaos and the bloody grey (Literally the most annoying subject in Heroica. ). Just something to consider.

Haldor held up his hands. "Alright, alright, you big girls' blouses! I'm coming back." The shaman flipped a table for cover, and prepared himself to leap out and assualt Bombster B from the back row.
-
"Good to be serving with you again Skrall, it's been too long. And you, Dyric, my friend." The Nord turned to the others, to address some unfamiliar faces. "Hello there 'Phil'. I do not believe that we've met before. I am Haldor, and it looks like we'll be working together. Pleased to meet you, heard you were some kind of Emperor or something of that ilk. Now, we ready to move out?" Haldor jumped with surprise! "Woah, didn't notice that we'd moved on. More goons eh? I'll disassemble droid-thing A from the front row."

Haldor not-all-that-gently nudged Thothwick out of the way so that he could speak with the watchman. "Greetings, Gnash, the pleasure is mine. It is always a shame to hear that so many have had experiances like yours, it saddens me that this city is so far from perfect with all the potential that it has. But now you are part of the watch, you can help to make sure that others do not have to go through the horrors that you did. I have seen many examples of the way in which your race is treated on this so-called 'Free isle', and it is terrible indeed. But I have always endevoured to help those in dire situations, like you used to be. As you can probably tell, I am not from around here, so I know what it is like to be isolated in a new place, far from home and family. It is for this that I strive to make this city a better place, so that I can ensure that this place can mean a bright future for everyone." The nord paused to shoot an irritated glance at Thothwick, the embodiment of snobbishness. "Fight? No we do not fight amongst ourselves, the odd brawl, and training match maybe, but not in real to-the-death violence. We try and keep friends with each other, it makes for easy working. But as with all organisations, there are those who think themselves superior, who try and preach their clouded views onto others, who are ultimately not half as clever as they think they are. Gods, I hate people like that. But what of you, Gnash? How has your time in the watch been? Seen many interesting things, besides today, in your duties?"

Hey Jebs! You need to come back to Heroica.

S'not likely. I'm not too happy with the direction the game's headed. Seems QMs are too concerned with 1-upping each other with loot creation which is causing players to become too powerful too fast. Besides, to come back to the game I'd need some sort of incentive, like a +5 level boost or something as restitution.

Is it possible to recover lost text from my profile?
Scorpiox replied to Scorpiox's topic in Forum Information and Help
I love you, Bonaparte! -
Hello folks! I recently was attempting to make an edit to my profile, but accidently deleted the whole darn thing before I knew what was going on! I spent more time and effort writing stuff for that than I would care to admit, so is there any way to recover it? Do any of you staff blokes have the power to reverse changes like that, or could I access a cached copy of my profile from five minutes ago? Thanks in advance.

"Wait, I'm not finished with you yet. Beast C is mine. Front row, obviously.

Bluecoats, ye be warned - Finally, a use for Bluecoats?

1. He is clearly and very obviously being painted. 2. Again, he is clearly and very obviously being painted. 3. Not everyone in the Navy wore a uniform, you know. Move along now, there is nothing you can do to stop this operation. -
- A Lover's Lockett to Alexis, maybe it'll convince her to go back to Althior. - A Spellcaster's Headband (Increases the power of all magic attacks by the level of the user, but prevents physical attacks.) to Arthur, hopefully he'll stop trying to dash about and give everyone orders if he's standing at the back firing spells. - For Dyric, some Winged Sandals, in case he finds himself late for a quest in the future.

Haldor felt refreshed, and set to work on another of the Chaos Beasts. "I'm back in the game. Since we've got some kind of plan going on, I'll tackle the master, from the front row.

Just two hours to go! Merry Christmas everybody!

Haldor staggered backward from the hit. Zoot er Isen had leapt forward like a wild animal in his hands to deflect the blow, but most of the beast's claw still made contact. It hurt. "I'm going to fix myself, you folks cover me." The nord heals himself.
-
"Oi, hands off! This bitch is mine! You target A, I got here first." Everybody pray that Arthur doesn't take this personally.
-
Haldor is a Shaman, so his Critical hit should be an Extra Critical hit. Haldor pulled back his axe from the neck of the chaos beast, its head dripping steamy black liquid onto the sodden ground. The weapon's handle felt oddly warm and living to the touch, as though it masked a hidden heart, beating in glory for the first strike. The nord could not deny that it was unlike any weapon that he had wielded before. "Everyone doing all right for health? Good, then I can set to finishing this monster off." The shaman lunged forward for another sweep at the neck Chaos Beast C, from the front row.

For my Redcoats Community Build, I decided to answer one of the ancient questions that has haunted the minds of wordsmith and genius alike! With a little help from my good friend, Commander Law. Colonel Brickington was invited by Captain Scorpiox himself to witness the construction of HMS Bedivere's new figurehead, and a possible answer to the agelong question: 'Is there actually a use for Bluecoats?'. They're cheap, expendable, durable and of course, nobody will miss them!

Haldor ceased beheading his beast for a moment, purely to raise an eyebrow. "Your memory that bad, Alexis? We tackled a rather old one back down in the valley, remember?" Cough cough.
-
"Three, and that was on a really bad day. Come on, Zoot er Isen, let's see what you're made of!" Haldor takes a swipe at Chaos Beast C from the front row. Zepher, I just realised that Haldor's maximum health should be 39.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Absolutely brilliant, the best film I've seen for a good five years. It was just so well done, and any changes to the story done with the utmost skill. All the dwarves were hilarious and awesome, and I'm so glad that Radagast made an appearance, being my favourite of the most minor characters. I also had to restrain myself from cheering everytime the main theme played and the Company arrived to generally be awesome.

The thing that annoys me the most about Alexis, however, is her age. Come on, she's 19, yet she is practically throwing it around. 19 for an Elf is pretty much a child. She had herself a good loving relationship, and at the first problem, she gave up, just like that. And her entire basis for leaving Althior was on that she thought he had moved onto someone else, exactly what she is doing right now! Haldor will do his best to mend the relationship, however, because he is nice like that.

"This is it, folks. The big one, we had better be prepared." Haldor sits down on a box. "You know, she's really wasted on this. All that skill, that potential, she could have been so much more. And this? Wren is dealing with powers far greater than anything she can control; and what makes her think that Zoot will answer to a mortal such as her? No, she will bring nothing but death to us all, for this she must be stopped. But, come to think of it, I can't bring myself to hate her. What she is doing is horrific, all the innocents that will fall, all the chaos let loose amongst order, that is wrong. But really, she is just a crazed woman gone mad with power, thinking that chaos will set in motion a change of this. All chaos will do to this city is set in anarchy and open the door to all manner of greater horrors. There will be no safe place to hide. Wren, she's not evil, she's just gone completely bonkers."
