  1. Haldor raised his head and looked to see a large crowd of people gathering around him. Jess was there, it was all right. Haldor struggled to sit up. "Argh, my head. What the hell just happened. He was there wasn't he? He tried to make me do it. I couldn't stop him. He thought wrong. Thoric was there again. My head. Argh" Haldor leant back and tried to regain himself, Jess was comforting him.
  2. Donny was pretty cool. I also really like the chaos beasts and Wren.
  3. Haldor stared, De'kra stared back. Something had to give. "I missed you too love." Haldor pulled Jess down to his table, and opened his mouth to speak again when blue mist erupted from his mouth and his eyes flashed bright blue. His gaze turned to De'kra again as his feet lifted him up, his body walked slowly toward the rogue as words forced themselves out of his mouth in a voice that was not Haldors. Haldor heard himself roaring, he tried desperatly to stop, it had gained control again, and now it was moving menacingly toward De'kra. The rogue still sat as Haldor began to raise his weapon toward him, there was nothing Haldor could do to control himself. The attack was imminent, when once again the world exploded in white. A voice spoke, unmistakably belonging to the God Thoric. "Hello, Darkbane. You are clearly very misguided. I know how you protected Haldor through his childhood when he found you, but your services are no longer needed. You cannot help Haldor by forcing him to attack those whom he knows and you think are a threat. Control yourself, you were a true hero in your lifetime, but your judgement is not as pure as it once was." The voice was cold towards Haldor's guide, but spoke the truth. Thoric always spoke the truth. Haldor opened his eyes and found himself lying on the floor.
  4. *Growls, narrows eyes*

    I need a new picture...

  5. Haldor looked up as Alexis conjured up another creature. "Good summon Alexis, expertly formed as always. I've never seen one with a way for animals as you, everybody back there seemed more inclined to lop the heads off something before caring for it. Not me although. Hello Cinna, you speak of sand and deserts. What was it like in that far place that you quested to? No sand home, just snow and ice and roaring wind. Please sit near." Haldor was finding it hard to fight back the prescence now, he was hoping that speaking to Cinna would provide a great enough distraction to stop himself from being overwhelmed. De'kra was a strange but not bad fellow, Haldor dreaded to think of what he might be forced to do if his guardian saw the mysterious rogue as something to be feared.
  6. De'kra had turned away now, but Haldor was still nervous to be watched by the cloaked figure. Worse, the object in Haldor's bag was shaking, as though calling out to Haldor. The old voice was back, Haldor's watchful protector. It whispered, 'let me in'. Haldor fought to maintain conrol of his mind against a powerful force, he had good intentions, but how accurate was his judgement after these years? As much as Haldor owed to him, he had been wrong before...
  7. Haven't you been listening?!
  8. "It was a terrible thing, but let us not speak of it now. My friends here are Tesni, as you can see, she's the torso-ripping sort of girl, most of our foes dropped dead before she even got near! Haldor's face changed for a second, into something that resembled his former self, but then Haldor's face quickly lit up again.Over there is Alexis, nice and good-natured, she has a way with animals. And now apparently Dyric, he was with us too, good with a whip, a bit troubled although. When did you last see old Skrall? We had some good times together, purging the wicked and all. I would be damn well awesome to complete the set with all three of us on a quest again." Haldor looked toward Dyric and spoke. "Hail, Dyric! All is good, don't suppose you've met Nur before eh?" The Norseman turned and saw De'kra's gaze piercing into him, Haldor felt uncomfortable, as it was impossible to tell what the small Rogue was feeling or thinking. As De'kra looked, he felt something in his bag vibrate violently...
  9. Awesomeness embodied! I wonder how cool Haldor would look as a doll. *Hint hint*

  10. "That's what it takes to learn the ways of a Shaman, and it appears that Thoric has decided to elect me as his champion of sorts, and he stole my chainmail. The stuff round here isn't good enough to hang a drunken porcupine. I guess you're still sneaking up and hitting people before they can shout profanities as usual Nur? Haldor grinned at his old friend. Nice to see you again, we should kick in some heads together once more. How about you sign to go to see that gnome's inventions with me, maybe we could both go. I trust you know what happened last time I saw him, or more specifically his daughter. But don't go telling anyone that. I regret it wholeheartedly. Doesn't sound like much will happen on this trip, but I need to sort a few things out, and you never know, someone might need crushing. Haldor laughed and pulled a chair for Nur and himself. Given up on Jess? Never. She's like a delicate flower, with a knife to embed in your throught. Mmm, Sexy! Ha, I could never leave her, she never left me. Now that I'm more of a human boulder I can rejoyce in knocking heads while she lops them off. And she's damn sexy!"
  11. Nice avatar.

  12. Your avatar is awesomely appropriate.

  13. As the young rogue spoke of his past, Haldor stooped down to place a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I know how you feel Dak, I had nothing. Them, they didn't like me, I different. Now I have Jess, and friends. You should find somebody, then like me, you can find salvation. May Thoric guide you, friend. And yes I have been on my share of quests. Recently Tesni, dear Jess and I, along with my friend Skrall and two others, journeyed to Haddon. The witch Lady Wren was twisting our minds, and we found ourselves on the wrong side of a war. We found the truth soon enough to save the town from bloodthirsty rebels. Somewhere along the way I used that name of Holla as an alias, but that scum was not worthy of being known briefly in Haddon. I learnt much there." Darth, please read my profile for Haldor's full story, and Quest #19 is also a very intersting read.
  14. "Hello young Dak, I am called by the name of Haldor Skovgaard. From the frozen North. This is Tesni, one you don't want to cross if you are fond of your limbs. At the look on Dak's face, Haldor stopped. "Don't bother with the formality, not really our thing. Damn, I don't know if some of my brothers know how to bow. Har. You are unlucky enough to have spent time with our dearest backalley mugger? He was trying to tell me 'how foolish it was to use his name', but his petty threats only remind me how is undeserving of the name by which we all call ourself. He is unwanted here with his spies and crooks who apparently serve him. Common criminals have no place here, he ought to have joined a gang rather than the hall. But let us not waste our breath speaking of him. How is everything keeping, Dak."
  15. Isn't that a little greedy? You've already got a WP:10 crossbow. Sorry if I sound greedy, but maybe Leo could have it. He says he wants to be a Warden.
  16. To steal from her I guess.
  17. "It's damn tempting, to put the common criminal back in the flea-bitten slums where he belongs. I'm ashamed to have called myself after such a lowlife. But however more suited to a gang than the hall that he is, I can hardly remove him without the consent of our Veterans. Maybe he'll turn, maybe he won't. Either way, I cannot pass divine judgementt, I am no Thoric. But what's been happening so far with you Tesni? Maybe a hunting trip together wouldn't go amiss. But no life shall we waste, any kills must be used for purpose. I guess I could use some new furs for the winter." Haldor smiled and retrieved his rod from the sling on his back.
  18. Sounds good. If you do this then Durkon can turn into something cool.
  19. At this Haldor just laughed. "Ha, I believe you have taken a wrong turning. The Wolfgang headquaters are down by the docks. You forget that Heroica is not for men like you. We help those in need and protect the weak. Something tells me it is your soul that needs mercy, murderer and fiend. Who do you think you are? You are the scum of the city, the dirt on my boot. You watch the world with your informants, you want the world to fear you. I know men like you. They are the ones who have their heads displayed on spikes over the city gates. The world does not fear you, you fear the world. Take your criminal network and cold threats and be gone." Haldor continued laughing as Guts left for the quarry. Haldor once again turned to Cinna, trying to revive the dead conversation.
  20. Sandy, I hate to be a bother, but I've moved my Haldor pics to a new folder. Here is the same picture but with new code http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Scorpiox/Heroica/shaman_haldor.jpg
  21. Nice. I saw I,Robot (Which uses the three laws a lot) a few days ago. I love the whole concept of the three laws and how they are programmed into every robot, and thus can never be broken (Although I,Robot is pretty much about how a robot becomes close to being a person. Good film.). These MOCs clearly show those laws in action, I especially like the first one with the robot lifting the child off the train line.
  22. As Guts made his way out of the hall, Haldor stopped him briefly.. "Ha, I probably just read your name off the wanted list when I was working for the town watch, the thing was full of the names of men like you. I was in deep with bad things, my friends and me needed an alias. Your name must have been the first thought to cross my mind, as obviously a petty Eubric criminal turned mercenary was not my ideal guise for the quest. You call me foolish? Haldor rose up to his true height, not towering over Guts with a menacing expression. You don't frighten me, Guts Holla. Haldor spat Guts's name like a dirty word. Who did this man think he was? Haldor watched as Guts turned and pushed his way out of the hall. Haldor turned back to Cinna. "I apologise for that, some little worm thinking he can intidmidate me I've seen far worse than him. He apparently has 'friends' about that inform for him, I'll have to watch out for them. Give them some hiding like Wartan is behind me. But where were we? Ha."
  23. Just remember that I'm Pirate Beaker with a Mp5 Machinegun and I play the smexy Norseman.
  24. "My mail is gone, Thoric must have stolen it in Valhalla. Haldor chuckled, not noticing the vacant look on Cinna's face at the name of Thoric and the Norse paradise of Valhalla. I will get something soon, maybe when I have more time. The quality of mail here in Eubric is less than desirable, not good enough for Norse standards, too brittle. But enough of that. Heard that you went too help that Ziegfried woman, but I know not much else, how did everything go?"
