  1. I cast, Summon Bigger Draugr! It's super effective!
  2. Shame Ahsoka didn't actually invent it, and just quoted it herself.
  3. Fair enough, and I'm sure future team-mates would love your warden shield.
  4. Och, Doc just cheated to get a higher WP than Tesni.
  5. The fireworks set off of the fourth.

  6. This is the build up to it. *wink*

  7. And now I've been here a year as well! =)

  8. No problem, though I would prefer it if you would remove the word 'fool' and make the attack much more realistic for the levels of the two characters. Basicly Haldor knocks Durkon out in one hit.
  9. Aye, I wouldn't mind Durkon thinking Haldor to be someone else, but I'm not so keen on him attacking Haldor and insulting him without asking or even telling me what he is planning.
  10. Sorry, but I don't really get this. I'd advise reading up on a character's backstory before involving them in your roleplay. If you wish to read Haldor's backstory then you can find it on my profile. Your depiction of Haldor doesn't fit how I have built him. For a start, he wouldn't have done any 'burning of homes'. Those in his village may have done raiding parties or attacks in war, but only against other locations in the north. Haldor wouldn't have been on any of those raids, as you can tell from his character and backstory. Plus, you included what seems like darkdragon's character Cinna, if it is her character you refer to, you should ask for permission before writing a possible marriage/relation between your two charters. And in the actual interaction between Haldor and Durkon you state that Durkon regonises his face and proceed to attack him. Somehow Durkon summons up a immensely powerful spell, which is fair enough, but you continue to call Haldor a fool and say that he is afraid. Haldor may be in pain in this hypothetical situation, but he wouldn't be afraid. And Haldor is not written to be a 'fool'. I really don't mean to bash your roleplay, but please read up on a character before you involve them.
  11. If you want to, you can involve Haldor. Just so long as you don't interfere with his character or dishonour him in any way. I'm happy to help Durkon evolve. If you are planning a longer, more pivotal, involvemet then feel free to PM me and we can organsise some stuff.
  12. "She seems as though something in her is missing, like a part of her heart is gone. I can not cure her emotions, whatever she may feel now, toward you, or me." Haldor looked sad for a moment, he clearly wanted to speak to Jess, to know what was on her mind, but she seemed cold toward the world. Haldor wanted to see her, but she faced him blankly in the inn room in which they slept. Haldor tried to dismiss the thoughts from his head, but wished Jess to be herself again. "Aye, I have trained hard, but I was guided by a vision or sight. I saw a God, King Thoric, he spoke to me. But part of me feels that I actually saw him, in Valhalla. For it happened when I touched this." Haldor reached into his bag and retrieved the diamond, holding it up to the air. "I feel this has some link, some significance, that it was meant for me. When I touch it I think of Jess, and reflected on the surface I see not mine face, but the face of Thoric." Haldor showed Tesni, who evidently could see nothing. "I will keep it close, but it seems to have an aversion to the old crystal I possess. What do you think about it?"
  13. Haldor stepped into the warm and familiar hall. It was good to be home, or at least be somewhere that offered frienship and safety. Haldor pushed open the heavy wooden doors and was greeted by the smell of roasting meat and the sound of eager chatter. Since having ascended to Shamanhood, and having been guided by one of the Gods others would only dream about seeing, Haldor thougt differently about the world. He had realised now, that no-one had the right to bully or threaten him or his beliefs. Haldor knew, that any who gained in the pain and misfortune of others were not worth of life at all. Wren spoke of just going with the flow of the world, and not being evil, but how in any way was that true? Innocent is the child who thinks and children do, kind is the peddlar who gives a coin to the crippled man, fair is the soldier who thinks of what is right and just before acting. Wren is one who takes amusement in suffering, she is not innocent, kind, or fair. But however much she will maniplulate and twist the lives of men and even the fabric of reality, she will become a victim of herself. She will fall, she will die. For one thing is true about chaos, it is not an element or a skill, it is the opposite of order. It is complete and utter anarchy. Even Wren, in all her power, cannot rule over chaos, for chaos rules can bring down empires, inspire doubt in beliefs. Chaos is the fall of reason, civilisaton, chaos can bring down the world. Wren will fall to her own anarchy, she will find a point where there will be no road back, where she will see the reality of the chaos, the world in flames. Wren is on a pendulum, swinging ever closer to this point, she will die, she is already dead. Haldor walked into the familiar place he held dear, he sat by Tesni and took a drink, thinking on what had transpired. Haldor looked upon the faces of those he knew, and vowed to fall before seeing Wren's chaos enflame the world.
  14. Yeah, it is really great to finally see Durkon's massive winning streak brought to a close.
  15. I'm looking forward to a new Althior attire to go with Haldor's, Alexis's, and soon Skrall's new costumes.

And maybe even Jess will get a new outfit! *drools*

  16. Thanks! =)

For Skrall I guess you could add things onto his wrists and 'skirt', or even a KK helmet as I've done to mine.

But even if Skrall doesn't look vastly different, he is still unique and one of the coolest and most innotive characters. =)

  17. Aye, I hope Khorne doesn't mind. But in fact, our pantheons seem vastly different, his are Norse versions of the Uland deities, wheras mine are entirly different and based on actual Norse mythology. And as Khorne himself said to Haldor, the North is a vast place and they probably are not from the same part of it. Oh and Sandy, if you update my hall picture with my Shaman gear, please could you use this special 100x100 version.
  18. Not the figurative suspense! I didn't realise it was still murdering people!
  19. Haldor is now a w00T! w00T! Shaman! I hope you don't mind Sandy that I've invented my own Norse Gods.
  20. Haldor stepped gingerly into the cold echo-y room, his every footstep ominously bouncing around the dead stone walls like a dastardly imp. There was no-one to be seen, and the piles of forlorn helmets and weapones strewn onto discarded dummies gave a sense of forboding. There was an almighty crash, and a figure sprung forward from behind a suit of armour, making Haldor jump and clutch his weapon... The Copper Fox was still chuckling at the look on Haldor's face, who was clearly not amused. After a while the bright and cheerful veteran stopped laughing and turned to speak the the Norseman. They spoke quickly of skills and strength, but Haldor's mind was elsewhere. The chatter of the Copper Fox passed over Haldor's head, as another voice filled his mind. At first it seemed as though the spirit of the gem was speaking, but this voice was different. It spoke boldly and with a confidence, the voice was there inside Haldor 's head, and it seemed familiar... Haldor reached into his pocket and touched the shining diamond, and everything exploded in a white haze. Haldor opened his eyes to see a pure white landscape, with the ground fringed with omniscent smoke, as though Haldor was floating on a cloud. He rose to his feet and was greeted by the appearance of being in a long hall, with torches on the walls and a firepit in the centre. Haldor advanced slowly toward the end of the building, and took in details of the hall, now seeming very much like the mead hall of his village and the illustrations in the ancient tomes. The illustrations were of the great feast, paradise, Valhalla. Now with suspicions that he had died, Haldor stepped slowly further, past great long tables and benches lined with food and mead. The door came closer, and Haldor's curiosity lead him to wonder what it would be like to see the eternal lands he had dreamed of. "Not so fast there my young fellow! Tis' ain't your time yet." The voice was that of the one that had spoke to him moments ago, loud and eager, yet friendly and caring. Haldor turned around swiftly to see the speaker, and an amazing sight met his eyes "Aah, Haldor isn't it? I've been expecting you." For standing before Haldor was the shining figure of Thoric, Norse God of Judgement and Salvation. His shining staff held aloft in the brilliant light. "I must say, your exploits have been most entertaining, you and your friends had been making an quite an impact. You and that elf, Jess I think, but personally I think you would be more befitting of good Norse stock. seem to be quite a pair. Not so sure of that tall woman though, she doesn't look too friendly." "But who am I to judge?!" He added with a chuckle. But anyway, you are not here to listen to me wittering on! See, you've got to stand up for yourself, for what you believe in. Remember those childhood tormentors? Wonder where they are now? I can't even remember if they ever made it here! You are far better than them, you will be remembered when they are forgotten. Make sure you keep your beliefs and ideals, and don't forget where you came from, and you will find out where you will go. I'll be here for you if you need me, but hey! I'm here for everybody! Take care ma boy! If you remember where you came from, you will find out where you will go..." Haldor's eyes opened and he was once more standing before The Copper Fox, who's expression didn't let on if he had even noticed that Haldor had vanished. Haldor's hair was cut and his chainmail was gone. He was bare-chested and felt stronger and much more powerful than he was before. His bruises and cuts had vanished, and his diamond reflected the beaming faces of Jess and the Norse God of Judgement and Salvation, Thoric. The Norseman eagerly completed his training, reaching for the goal of Shaman. Haldor kept in mind the words of Thoric, and knew he couldn't fail. 21. I have to say that your story was very gripping and I loved the NPCs. Wren is a truly great character and I loved her link with Tesni during the quest. The settings were well made and pictured, and the diologue was clear and interesting. I really like how you incorporated the heroes into the quest, it is one of the things that make the quest really interesting. The battles were tough but not so hard as to be boring. I thought it great how Sir Earl was created into the party and the fact that you allowed us to do things we wanted without much restriction made for some good action. One improvement that could possibly be made, is there wasn't that much interection and chance to talk and learn about the characters of Felton and Hans. But this in no way detracts from the enjoyment of the quest. As for the dream quest... I was attempting to do this throughout the quest, as you probably saw in my reluctance to heal Jess in the last few battles. I would have persevered, but I realised in the last battle that I needed a shield to help win the battle. Allowing Jess to get knocked out because of me being selfish and having a miricle not help her would be unfair. So I let it go.
  22. I really loved the quest Zepher! McColt's speech was good, and the cliffhanger means I will definatly sign up for any future Wren quests!
  23. Haldor caught the diamond that was thrown to him. He turned it in his hand, it glistened like a thousand stars. The pure crystaline gem was pure in form and soul as the heavens from which it shined. It would remind Haldor of the beauty and purity of Jess when they were apart, it was his link to her soul, and the chain that bound their hearts together. But Hoke had seemed anguished at Tesni recieving the dark orb, and had nearly raised a blade at her. Haldor was not one to judge Tesni on owning yet another evil object, but there was no doubt that she had changed since the dark blade... The beasts had fallen, but Wren was still standing, as much a demon of chaos as the creatures that lay felled. The heroes had tried there hardest to make the world a better place, and maybe they had failed, but during their time they had learnt more about themselves than any would expect. Thanks for the amazing quest Zepher! It was amazing, the story was intricate and intersting. I am glad I signed up, but do I get my reward for you-know-what?
  24. Sorry but I really want to keep the diamond. Thanks for the amazing quest Zepher! I was really great fun and was very well written.
  25. Hey, I realised that Tesni seemed to be turning, but got a load of ridicule when I did!
