Hey guys, downloaded Studio from Bricklink and was able to import the model there, make a few adjustments, and successfully upload it to Bricklink. I think I also took care of all the manual "adjustment" steps in my above instructions so it should be a clean drag and drop. Enjoy Studio T-70 (I just put this file in my dropbox if there is a more convenient way to post the file please let me know... it's been a while)

Gosh, I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with the file. I too just tried to upload it to bricklink with no luck. Unfortunately my mac has updated it's OS and Lego Designer is no longer compatible...serious bummer. Is anyone else able to review this file to understand what part(s) are causing the upload problem?

If you want to learn more about the MF than 99% of even the die hard Star Wars fans take a looks at this thread: https://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=232123&page=4 Note that the dark stripe came about when they made a digital version of the MF for the Special Editions and was actually only ever used in marketing material (Aka it never appeared in the film). If you scroll all the way down on page 4 you'll see that image and I'd be willing to bet this is what the designers used as reference material. Kind of a bummer. Now to add additional fuel to the fire... In TFA this dark stripe also appears and disappears in the same scene. Scroll to the bottom of this page: https://imgur.com/a/pdEcg I've been told that the dark stripe appeared on the trailer footage but when it all got rolled up for the movie no one went back in and fixed it. I've spent waaay to much time researching the falcon for my own build...

Wow, just wow! This is incredible! Perhaps my only criticism is how clean it looks. Needs some wear and tear ;-) -
I could have told people that before the release. Everyone was hoping they could get the MF with double points. Lego isn't going to let that happen with a set this popular.

This topic is pretty void of actual content of the kit. Is everyone just flippin' them? Want to hear more about the build, the included pieces, etc... Less about the second hand market and backorders...

This is unbelievable. Our local lego store got 4 in and I was the 5th in line :-( . And I got there at 10PM the night before. And now the website is down. Total crap.

It's legit. Check this source out of just screen grabs of the falcon from TFA. I'm been using this exclusively to build my own falcon. You'll notice among quite a few other differences that the TFA Falcon has additional bumps on the front of the mandables. Also fun little trivia, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the shots where the falcon is flighting a Tie Fighter you'll see that a couple of the shots have the black streak on the mandables like the TLG Falcon has. But they only appear in a few frames. I've been told that these were from the trailer and they forgot to update them for the final movie. That's what the guy said at the store I visited too. Must cost a lot to ship competed falcons to all the Lego stores!!! Noticed that someone was having fun with yours (its got both sensor dishes mounted and the TFA bit on the nose are tilted up).

I got a handout at the Lego store on the Millennium Falcon and on the back it says "VIPs can buy the set 16 days before anyone else!"

Guys, I had the opportunity to see this thing in the flesh at the local lego store. I've gotta say I'm impressed! Having been in the middle of my own MF MOC the past 6 or so months I can really appreciate the detail and attention to accuracy. It's not perfect, but dang, never thought an off the shelve lego set would get so close. It almost makes me want to abandon my own build and just mod this one instead. Almost... I will still be purchasing it. Perhaps one for display and another for parts. :-) And all those whining about minfigs...will you just stop! I hate to tell you, but a set like this is not for the minifigs!

Fuel to the UCS MF fire... On vacation to Seattle right now and stopped at a local brick shop. They had several 1st edition UCS Falcons and said they sell about 1 a month in the $5-6k range. HOWEVER, he told me that he is basically "fire-selling" another 4 of them before the end of next month for a price of around $4k. I was playing dumb and pried a bit on why the urgency. He told me that he had several concrete sources that a new Falcon was on it's way in September and was very worried about what that was going to do to the resale value of is current Falcons. He said a lot of other things that have already been rumored about several times here like the price being more than the original one, the canopy, etc... Seemed pretty legit but who knows. I guess we'll all find out in a month...
