Yeah, kinda strange. I guess they didn’t want him to be too similar to the minifig in the set we just got. The mic implies it’s based on the final scene in Shrek 2, so maybe he’ll also get a different facial expression At least it’s a very common piece! -

Or just do something completely new without any overt ties to what came before. That’s why I like the idea of the Dawn of the Jedi movie. Just tell a original story that feels like Star Wars, yet has barely anything to do with the Skywalker Saga All the shows and spin-offs so far are still tied to the core saga in some capacity, even The Acolyte with Plagueis, Yoda, and Ki-Adi Mundi showing up. It gets harder and harder for new fans to latch onto SW with the deluge of movies and shows we have now! -

*holy music stops* I heard they were shopping it around, but that‘s their big idea for reinvigorating the show?! Oooooooof

LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, this one clearly doesn’t work. At least we’re getting a new cap-hair combo piece for Red! If Oak and Blue are indeed also featured, they’ll probably receive existing pieces too. -
Super Mario 2025 and onwards - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Licensed
Depends. They announced it early, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there’s gonna be a 1HY wave, let alone a January one. The first wave could well be released in April or even only in August That said, a January wave is still fairly likely, given the implication that leakers have already seen pictures of some of the minifigs. -

Well, then it‘s a done deal! As long as we get the rider, I won‘t complain though. The main attraction of the set will be the Mûmakil, after all. -

Where did you see that? Sounds pretty low. If it’s true, I guess it’s gonna be Legolas and two Haradrim, including the jovial rider who just loves his job -
LEGO Art - Rumours and Discussion

Funny how the Art theme has recently become what we thought it was when it was first rumoured: LEGO recreations of famous paintings The Kiss is a very good choice, excited to see how they translated it! -

Helm’s Deep without Uruk-hai would be like The Shire without Hobbits They’re essential. What scenes would the set be depicting then? The preparations? Minas Tirith doesn’t have any orcs, sure, but there are plenty of other scenes taking place there, like the coronation or Denethor’s cordless bungee jump. Minas Tirith is iconic by itself. The iconic thing about Helm’s Deep on the other hand is the battle. The Shire set introduced a new skirt piece at least. And you left out Rivendell, which had a ludicrous number of new pieces -
Stilgar minifig or we riot.

Star Trek - Rumors & Discussion

The minifig selection sounds awesome! 1701 pieces, eh? Sounds like they either set out to design a set with that piece count from the getgo or went with a first prototype and then de- or increased the piece count I love silly references like that!
