"I guess I'll take the Sapphire then, but I don't really need any of those gems, so consider it to be for sale, make me an offer and I'll consider it."

Sure, third time's the charm I guess? (then again, it wasn't that bad in 2010, was it? ) -

Yay! Camera charged and ready. -
Thanks everyone! Not much LEGO so far, only a little bit from my sister and her family, but I did have a splendid day with my girlfriend at least. Google is of course right, that's Norwegian beer. And with the exception of the Aass Lettøl on the left they're all very good beers too, nice find! It's entirely correct.

Well, once upon a time there was a Dragonlord who wanted to create an RPG for the games forum on EB, and he wanted to base it on D&D for which I was able to provide him with lots of reference material. I think this was back in 2010 some time, maybe even 2009. Long story short that project never took off, in part I think because everyone was thinking too complicated. Then Sandy came up with something refreshingly simple and nice based on TLG's Heroica games and Munchkin. Unfortunately I didn't get to participate in the test quest (for some really silly reason, like that I should be busy with hosting a mafia game or something, complete nonsense. ), but I commented on it a little bit, only thing of mine that had any real impact though was the tier system for levelling after winning battles. So remember, when you're annoyed about only getting a half/third/quarter level for every battle won you may curse my name.

"Well, it never hurts to play things safe, I'll Blind the Phoenix again from the back row."
-
OoC: my Ether is still wrong, should be 4 now. Namyrra prepares to cast a Darkness spell at Atticus from the back row.
-
OoC: my ether should still be 5 after a miss Feeling utterly useless after her luck from the Finegold battle seemingly has run out Namyrra decides to Blind the Phoenix from the back row instead of attempting another, probably futile, attack on Atticus.
-
"Alf, you do know that if you target the phoenix we'll have to Seal it to ensure that it doesn't suddenly heal Atticus, right? Would suck a lot to have that nasty bird ruin our hard work.." Slightly shaking after taking the arrow Namyrra gets up to attain attempt a Darkness spell at Atticus from the back row
-
"Time to get started then. Darkness spell at Atticus from then back row !"
-
"If someone is going to attack the Phoenix we should probably seal&blind it, we could also just blind it and let it go ahead with useless free hits while we focus on Atticus." "Regardless of what we'll do about the Phoenix I'll drink my Nostrum to be better focused for the rest of the battle."
-
"Okay, let's get this over with. Namyrra also prepares for a fight that seems all but inevitable." OoC: I'm in Riga, Latvia (freezing my megablocks off I might add) until Monday, but should be able to check in at least once or twice a day. If I don't and there's a need for Namyrra to do something Jebediahs can decide for her.

A very nice Easter egg in a LEGO set, and probably my "favourite" so far, is the stickers in 7066 Earth Defense HQ featuring a viper symbol and "Nnenn".

Til lykke med fødselsdagen, Kim!

"Look, I'm not going to be unreasonable here, and I'm sure a powerful old wizard like you can teach us many things we don't know, things that make us more experienced so to speak.."
-
"Yes, let's take him down, he's weaker than the Finegold brothers."
-
"So you can't help us with finding Dmitri, fair enough, what do you offer us in return for letting you go?"
-
"Yes, I'd also like to know where the hell Dmitri went before making any decision on this."
-
It was a good puzzle, but I think slightly too complex for Heroica due to the long waiting times between making a move and knowing what the effects of that move were. That was probably mostly due to timezone differences though, you tend to come online just before I go to bed. Still, good to see something in this quest that wasn't just another battle, though the battles are much appreciated, just hope there's at least one more before the end.

Starting with this then.. ___1___2___3__ A______R______ B__________A__ C______E______ D______S______ And therefore: R E A R S "And after that the damn sapphire better be in column 3 or I'll be most annoyed."

"Right." R R E

I tried building my Maersk train in box, but it turned out that there wasn't enough room.
-
"Right, this should be doable." Namyrra makes another attempt, this time pushing the gems in this order: A S
-
"Only thing I can think of is that wind makes water move.. " "I guess it's possible that the Sapphire won't move until we have all the other gems in the third column? Maybe?" "But yes, I think we're onto something here, and Alf has done a great job with his tireless attempts at making the gems move, so maybe it's now time for me to make an attempt." Namyrra pushes the gems in this order: E S R S A S (OoC: whatever happened to the gems we inserted into the pedestals? Did they fall on the ground or something? )
