And another corner case question that just became relevant in Quest#27, does the Berserker's War Cry ability give the Encouraged-effect to summoned creatures? According to the rules it's "giving the whole party the encouraged-effect", and so far at least summons have been treated as part of the party, so it seems the consensus between me and darkdragon is to let the effect include the summons too. Unless Sandy says otherwise of course.

"Hah! That's my baby! Raiju, go hit that nasty gate please, and I shall cast another Lightning spell at the gate from the back row!"

"Right, a Lightning spell from the back row it is!"

So, the rest of you focus on taking down the gate, I shall take care of that thief with a Darkness spell from the back row" (OoC: please note that I still want to summon Raiju in case of a 1, but I'd now like a Darkness spell on a 4)

"Right, that at least seems to have had some effect. I'll follow up with a lightning spell from the back row." (OoC: 1: Raiju, 4: lightning spell) "And Eric, may I suggest that you hit that silly gate with your axes? Looks like they could hack it to pieces pretty easily."

"Okay, everybody stand aside, I shall apply Magic." Namyrra then proceeds to cast an Earth spell at the stuck gate.

"Yay, gold. And indeed, let us continue as planned, though finding this bag was a welcome diversion. Just hope we didn't spend too much time finding it.."

"I could probably throw a spell at it, but I fear that would likely smash the crate to pieces, so I don't think it's a good idea."

"Not sure, but the wall behind it looked sufficiently different from the wall on the sides that I wanted to see if throwing a spell at it could have an effect. Probably just silly of me though. "
