  1. Hearing a new quest had been posted Namyrra excused herself from Skrall for a moment to go check out the quest board, and upon seeing that not only was this quest looking like it would take her away from Eubric for a while, but it also specifically asked for experienced heroes, something she'd come to realize she was now, so she decided to sign up for Quest#18. Having thus finished her business at the quest board she returned to Skrall to continue their conversation from earlier.
  2. "Well, I could do with some sleep I think, and some new robes would probably be in order, but I'm mostly fine. Happy we managed to save that centaur, would have been horrible if that Grof megablocks killed her. And how about you?"
  3. Going back to the hall from the marketplace Namyrra had been doing some calculations, so when she entered she went and put a note saying: "Ruby for sale, 85 gold (that's 15 less than what Elphaba is asking in the marketplace), talk to me in the hall or in private if interested" Having thus announced her proposed deal she saw that Skrall had also returned to the hall and went to join him. She was quite impressed with how well the huge ogre had managed the quest, surely that Althior fellow took enormous amounts of patience to keep up with out in the woods.
  4. Entering the marketplace Namyrra immediately identified the garish wagon of Elphaba and purposefully strode over to her to buy some gems. "Good afternoon madam, I'd like to buy one Garnet and one Topaz" And after handing Elphaba the 200 gold required for the gems Namyrra feels her purse being much, much lighter with only 95 gold left in it.
  5. Weary, but satisfied with a job well done after finishing the quest Namyrra entered the hall. And with a slight feeling of regret she saw that no less than three quests had recently closed signups and gotten underway. Nothing to do about that now though, so she instead signed up for Quest#17 and went out in search of this fabled Elphaba she'd heard was visiting the marketplace.
  6. "Good bye mr Grogan, hopefully we'll meet again some time." Feeling some alone-time might be in order Namyrra decides to walk back to Heroica Hall on her own.
  7. "Well, I'd like a Holy Bomb please."
  8. "Well, unless Bob has a strong preference I'd like the Scroll of Blindness." "And now, may I suggest that we get the hell out of this stinking forest?"
  9. "Wow, that's a lot of good stuff these bandits had hidden away. " "I guess the gems should go to Althior and Arasmyth as both me and Bob have received one gem each already? However, as I'd really love that Topaz, would whoever gets it consider trading it for my Ruby? Pretty please with sugar on top? " "When it comes to the rest I'd say (though it pains me greatly as I desire it too) that either Skrall or Dyric should take the Loaded Die, seeing as there's so much stuff in here that's mainly useful for mages."
  10. Namyrra graciously accepts the ruby from Skrall and waits patiently for the scared centaur to settle down.
  11. "Ouch! That hurt! You're going down now!" Another Darkness spell at Stav from the Back row! (Ooc: Althior threw a Lightning bomb, Mechanical creatures are weak against Lightning, so it should have done 10 damage against the Spider, not 5)
  12. Well, I for one thinks that's great news! Then Namyrra might have a decent chance of making it back to Eubric in time.
  13. "Yay! One Grof going down! And now it's this other idiot's turn!" Darkness spell at Stav from the Back row!
  14. Hope it is, variation is good.
  15. One thing I really want when I have time to host (a) quest(s) is battles where the players have to think to win, not just use brute force. It should be possible, and I think I have an almost working solution. So, potential players, be afraid, be very afraid.
  16. "I don't think putting him to sleep would help, the next attack against him would just wake him up and we'd actually be worse off due to me not giving him a Hell of a lot of pain from a Darkness spell. I agree with giving Stav and the spider free hits to make it more likely to take out Grof though, he's our biggest worry." Namyrra carefully focuses to become one with the the Darkness in her Amethyst gem to cast another Darkness spell at Grof from the Back row. (OOC: and dear QM, please have the decency to assume that Bob will cast a spell at Grof if Sirius Black doesn't post in time. )
  17. "Okay, it seems we have to fight. Surprise, surprise. Guess I'll just carefully place myself in the Back Row and cast that spell I prepared earlier then."
  18. (whispering) "Well, I hope the tact thing works, but just in case it doesn't I'll prepare to cast a Darkness spell at Grof from the Back row"
  19. Well, being delayed due to having to wait for people in various timezones to do what we all know they'll do isn't what I'd call "fun". And missing the signup deadline for 3 quests is even less fun.
  20. "Right, so back to the interection to take the last remaining path then."
  21. "Oh joy, another mysterious clearing!" Namyrra looks for anything interesting, tracks, paths leading out from the clearing, animals for Skrall to talk to, etc. "Also, I guess Althior should try some more digging?" (OOC: can we just assume that when we come to a new clearing we'll do the stuff we've done at all the others? Would make things progress a lot faster. )
  22. Judging by Skrall's annoyed look Namyrra assumes there was nothing new to learn from the animals here. "Skrall, guess you didn't learn anything, eh? So, back to three-way intersection then?"
  23. Speaking of Sarick's Healing Staff you've forgotten to update his power with the staff, so his power is currently at 6. Which means he would have dealt 6 damage to each enemy with the magic burst, and the Pegleg Thug should thus be dead now.
  24. No, the magic burst explicitly uses "a random element out of those available to the mage", which in Sarick's case would be only Ice. Extra effects of a mage's weapon aren't relevant for magic burst, nor when casting spells. Special effects of weapons only come into play when using the weapon for attack.
  25. "Skrall, maybe you could make an attempt at communicating with some of these animals? Seeing as you got some information out of that bird earlier you might learn some more here."
