  1. Where did you order the Asmann tiers from, and do you think they will ship to Norway?
  2. I was lucky and got two bulldozers for about 75 dollar each, used but both in good condition. The PF parts alone are probably worth more than I paid, and concidering that it costed almost 300 dollar new here in Norway when it was released I am very happy.
  3. I just asked someone on ebay.de about shipping cost, and he said that the whole sett weighs about 2300 g, sealed in the box.
  4. I do not think the german Lego shop will send to Norway. And even if they would I would have to pay 25% plus about 20 $ in handling fee to the Norwegian customs. So then it is not really worth it. I goes i will just have to way until the autumn when it becomes available here. To bad, since it would probably been cheaper to buy it from ebay. It is most likely going to cost 210 euro/260 dollar in Norway. Thanks for the link. But the delivery "notice" still does not make any sense. Will he really wait working 30 days after I have paid to send it, or does not he have it in stock?
  5. I have a question for those of you who are German regarding to this crawler on ebay.de: http://www.ebay.de/itm/LEGO-9398-TECHNIC-4-x-4-Offroader-NEU-OVP-/390437525342?pt=DE_AllesfürdKind_Spielzeug_Lego&hash=item5ae7e3d75e#ht_2398wt_983 Will it take about working 30 days before it ships, or have i miss understood, because I thought he had it in stock? And do you think him/her would send to Norway, even though it is not a part of the European Union? I guess this is not the right place to ask, but I hope someone will answer anyway. I would really appreciate it!
  6. Are you going to motorize it? You would need several xl motors...
  7. Is this what you are thinking about? http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8849-1
  8. In UK and other big countries the price at least follows the currency, but here in Norway they remain sky high anyway. The Unimog for example costs 1699 kr, which at the day of realease equalled to about 310 dollars. And in USA the prices remain at the same low level, even with the low value of the dollar. USA gets cheaper LEGO and the rest of the world has to pay more to compensate, especially Norway.
  9. It looks really good, but i think a trailer/lowloader they long should at least have three axels.
  10. The same happened to me when I picked apart my tow truck. I just had to stay of technics for some days and it got better... But seriously, I find taking models apart to be a real problem, so I do not do too often. Maybe technic just does not fit The Lego company's general policy, that every thing should easily be taken apart.
  11. Don't these trucks use to have the crane on the back so they can load a trailer to?
  12. They have piece count in for example USA, but not here in Norway where I live.
  13. Here are some pictures of the b-model: http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2012/01/9397-b-model-surfaces.html
  14. But did you order all the parts from on seller or did buy from many different sellers? If the last is the case, would not a lot of money just go to shipping? Too bad no one sells all the parts needed as a kit. And could you take more pictures of your "Lego room", I would very much like to see more of it.
  15. At least it is a pretty long "skeleton". Personally I am not to happy about what I have seen of it so far. Looks like a bad copy of the 8285 tow truck with an even worse log crane on the back. The crane is just to simple and looks ver weak. It is probably stronger than the one on 8258, but it surely does not look "stronger" if you know what I mean.
  16. How did you get the parts, and how much did it cost? I would really like to get this "set" and many other of Han's creation, but it just seams imposible or at least very expensive to acquire all the parts needed. And by the way, it is a very impressive collection you have there Blakbird. I hope mine will become that big one day.
  17. So the structure is not strong enough? And I gues you will have problems to utilize the "capacity" the twin wheels give with only one axel, but it surely looks very cool. With the stairs in the front, it almost looks like the volvo brand.
  18. I think 8285 is much better than 8436. So you should get that one to.
  19. How much wight can it unload?
  20. I can not say that I like 8053, to simple and a big disapointment compared to 8421.
  21. So for example that a clutch is broken, can defend that you pay almost twice as much for a set? I have bought a lot of second handed sets lately, and I have not had any problem so far. I do not think that I would manage to enjoy the build, knowing how much a misb set falls I value the minute you break the seal. Therefor I buy second handed and save a lot of money. And if a piece would be missing, I would probably have an extra one in my collection. When that is said, I have to say that most of the sets i buy second handed are so cheap that they would been worth the money just for the parts. So I do not pay "full price" if I am not sure it is 100% complete and I really want that specific set.
  22. No discount in Norway as usually...
  23. I think you should by 8258 first, before it becomes unavailable. The price for a second handed 8421 will probably be the same, when you have the money to buy it. But if you only think about the sets itself I prefer 8421. 8258 is not bad either, I have both.
  24. Maybe it is a problem with the center differential.
  25. The price in Norway is not too bad either. 9395 costs 650 kr, which equals to about 110 dollars. But I still do not like how they calculate the prices in different currencies.
