  1. Very Nice! The Pig wagon makes me laugh. I love all the details put into this. The Intricate woodwork on the building, the stacked firewood, the cow fence, the vegitation on the right side, the sign. I do have a question though. What is the thing above the cows? Is it a willow tree? I may have to copy that technique with green whips and bamboo pieces
  2. I really like the Lizard skeleton. Perhaps you should raise it as undead.
  3. The green lightning makes some of the ash crystalize into unique patterns.
  4. I finally got around to taking pictures of my lego area.... On the right is my parts collection. The top has Technic bins and some long term projects that need bricklink orders. The shelves have parts in alphabetical order (more or less) and the individual boxes are usually sorted into zip lock bags. On the left is my craft table. There are a few loose parts as well as 4 mill battles and 1 london escape. You can also see some storage trays for really small pieces like 1x1 plates and such.
  5. Speaking of elemental monsters, some parts of Nocturnus don't have snow, they have anual volcanic eruptions which result in ash blizzards. They say if you see greeen lightning it is a sign of good luck, because it's better to see green lightning than be hit by it.
  6. I couldn't have said it better myself. I wish the lighting was a little better, but It's been cloudy here recently...
  7. Awesome. The tree effects are great, and it has a sense of connection to the rest of Historica. I look forward to the next chapter.
  8. That comment inspired this.... Here's some of the detail that was obscured... I think the camera is terrifying enough on it's own for Nocturnus.
  9. Thanks everyone. Just to be clear, I got the idea for the glass elsewhere. I just don't remember where. Think of this when everyone is tucked into bed
  10. Every year, my village prepares a giant feast for the hollidays..... I hope it's not me this year....
  11. I was origianlly going to have a minifigure, but then I remembered I have a ton of these micro mummies
  12. Another Mini Version of a previous build Here's the original barrel golems, in all their steampunk glory
  13. Cool, I guess great minds think alike
  14. This might be a little too large scale but... Its made from Brown technic angle connectors http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32016 along with branches and flowers
  15. Day four is a mini lasher A mini version of these guys
  16. I really like these elves. This is what I really like to see in this forum. I have to know. Did you come up with the bracelets independantly, or did you copy my bullywugs
  17. I'm almost the same way. A lot of my threshold depends on price per part as well. I did get the haunted house for regular price because I really wanted it and I knew I would never see it clearance. I also am more prone to buying if I can get multiples of the same set.
  18. Yeah, I've got a Cushion myself....anyway
  19. Oh Wonderfull. The curved wall is great in both large and small details, and the castel in general feels like it was built one battlement at a time.
  20. Ok, Here's the Next one...
  21. Hmm, I've been planning my own version of this for a while. If I come up with an extra build, I'll let you know about it. Just know that I'm not "snubbing" or trying to compete with you, I just planned my own before I knew this was happening. I look forward to seeing what everyone does. By the way, Great Microbuild! I like the use of headlight bricks and panels.
  22. So, as a challenge to myself, I decided to try and post One small build every day until the 25th of december. Of course, I realized that any Nocturnus challenge of this sort would resemble "The Nightmare Before Christmas" but I like that movie. In any case here is the first build. I selected the most Christmasy one. I hope you all enjoy! And Happy Holidays!
  23. I've been folowing this for a while, But I think the sea witch chapter is the best so far. I really like how you made the water effect and the sails of the ship. Hopefully you think that Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, becuase I am going to flatter the heck out of that sail.
  24. @everyone, thanks for the complements. They encourage me to build more. Part of it is becuase I needed a detail there, but part of it is because I think of my town of Scarbourough as a place that tries out lots of new ideas beacuse of lots of refugees and mercenaries coming through the town. The insane wizard also includes a few ideas. Perhaps it does stand out too much. Ideally it would be in dark red. Yellow seems a little to bright.
