This topic is going to be, as the title says, about purist Star Wars weapons. I doubt many people will reply to this topic as making these aren't particularly easy.

Hi! This is exactly what the title says, a topic about purist Star Wars custom minifigs. I know there was a topic like this before, but it hasn't been replied to for a while and I'm not sure if I would be allowed to bump it. This is not restricted to just minifigures, so custom droids etc, can be posted here.

Has anyone tried using the technique of sandwiching levers in between two grill pieces for a Battle Droid or K2-SO's antennas? I got the idea from someone on Flickr but can't remember the name (I think it was Umamen).

I'm pretty sure those are from the Graduate CMF, not custom. You should also remove that pic as quoting images from the same page isn't allowed. If you want some ideas for force pikes for the guards, you should look here.

Would an IG-88 MOC fit in here? I know there have been some things that fit inside the guidelines even less, but I just wanted to know.

I don't know any sellers for a custom one, but if you're looking at making one, I'd say this is a good purist torso. Also, does anyone have an updated Zam Wesell?

I edited Clone Killer's Captain Antilles decal and made this: I know it's not the right place to put it but I'm not quite sure where I should.

I think for now the most accurate torso choices are this and this.

It's pretty expensive for a torso.

Does anyone have an idea as to what torso can be used for Captain Antilles? General Craken's is ok, but I think it's a little too off for my liking. Also, in large armies, pauldrons and capes can be made out of coloured paper instead of fabric as it is a fairly good stand-in.

True, though I meant that people may get confused as to if they are meant to be clones or regular people recruited. But I think clones were discontinued except for Vaders 501st Legion troopers (Is that even canon anymore?). Also, a few minifig updates have been shown in the LSW TFA video game. Lando's "official" hair piece is now Finns hairpiece until he is released again!

How did I not see this before? These legs would look much better then the AT-DP drivers legs, and much cheaper! I will definitely look into getting some! In regards to the AT-AT drivers leg printing, I think I'll leave then unprinted for now. Just checking my options. Nice! Not sure about the clone head though, it's a bit confusing because of that being designed specifically to be a clone head, even though it looks nice as a generic head.

A little too pricey I think. And if I use the AT-DP Drivers legs for the Snowtroopers, it would look a little strange since they are the same printing, just in different colours.

Anyone have any suggestions on leg printing for an AT-AT Driver from the Snowtrooper BP?

True. This thread did have some non purist figures at the beginning. Speaking of that, I was thinking of picking up some X-Wing or Snowspeeder Microfighters and changing the helmet insignias and head. (And the droid head has some uses)

That is for customs. This is for updates of minifigures.

I personally like the normal hair for Han, but this actually looks quite nice! Boba's rangefinder looks great! How was it made? Also, can you post some pics of the weapons?

That's a new Snowtrooper. And I needed an excuse to Photoshop. You're welcome! I didn't know the new sets came out!

I've Photoshopped an image of an old Snowtrooper with an AT-DP Drivers legs and a White Kama skirt. I'm not very good at it, but it shows what it would look like. The Kama skirt really makes it stand out.

Well, that's annoying. BL seems like to only option to get it, except for buying the sets the Minifigure comes in.
