I think a Maggie torso painted brown with some decals would be good for a Jawa. It would probably be a lot more accurate than the current short legs.
-
Maybe just using that head with no hair? That would probably be more accurate than the bald hair piece. Though ever since I saw the Grandpa CMF I knew that piece with some customisation would be great for Lobot (somebody please do that).

I think the legs from the Football Player CMF are good for Snowtroopers. The AT-DP drivers legs have pockets whereas the footballer's legs have knee pads which are more accurate.
-
Ahh, okay. That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation!

Yes, it is very outdated. But it is listed on the official Lego Amazon page and that's what I'm interested in.

Hi! I have recently made an interesting discovery on Amazon. This discovery is that on Lego's official Amazon page, there is a listing for a "LEGO Star Wars OUTRIDER - DASH RENDAR SHIP". You can find the page here. I am aware that the Outrider was an alternate build for an ISD a couple years ago which looks similar to this, but I don't think there would be an Amazon listing for it. The specs say that this model would have had a rare printed face and that it is out of stock. I would be interested in seeing what others think of this.

Looks good! Though I'm not sure about the Wyldstyle hood, it looks strange as it is rubbery and not shiny like the plastic, though I'm sure when seen in person, it will look quite good. The leg printing kinda matches the torso, so they don't look that out of place.

I made a Wuher, but since most purist customs of him are pretty much the same, I decided not to post it here. That Jedi figure sounds interesting though. If you want to, you should post it here!

I've seen these on the Updating Your Minifigs thread, but thanks for sharing them here!

Thanks! I may attempt to rip the graphics from the original LSW games, though they would need some updating.

I think things through about twice a year. :3 Anyway, here's a Photoshopped Mara Jade. Bad I know, but it gets the point across.
-
When unpacking it, only a few pictures downloaded.
-
I tried to download the files but because I'm on Mac it doesn't work. But nice customs! Nice custom! But I don't think it quite fits in this topic as the non-purist things done on here are -as you said- fairly light such as erasing print.
-
It wouldn't be good to get so detailed as to have molded torsos like some customisers do. It stops being Lego then.
-
I assumed that was a wrinkle in the pants, but I see now. Without the holster would be acceptable for brown and black dual molded legs, because Han doesn't have it for a while in TESB and ROTJ.

Has anyone got the Batman Accessory set? It's a bit expensive for what you get, but looking at the minifig parts, there is quite a bit of potential. The female cop's torso looks like a good smugglers suit, the faces look very interesting and fairly generic, the police suits can be put into a Lego City diorama without flesh printing at the collar, as someone said before, the dual molded legs will be great for Han Solo (just no holster) and the hair on the female cop is coming out for the first time in black (that would be perfect along with the pink and black dual molded legs from the Batman CMF for Mettaton EX from Undertale, but that's getting off topic).

Here's a quick photoshop of what your idea would look like. (I know it's bad, but it gives an idea.)

Nice updates! I think that head looks a bit too old for Tarkin, but I also don't like the new official head. This is okay, but looks too young. The old head was good, they should have kept that basic design and updated it.

Purist (in the context of Lego) means using only official parts.

I have some, I just need to take some good photos.

As Moppo said, it's a custom Minifigure made using only official Lego parts. There may be illegal connections, but there can't be any altered or custom parts. Hope that made sense!

I am a regular poster on that topic and it's not the same as what I mean. On there, one would post updates to a figure previously released by Lego, whereas on here, one would post purist customs of a figure which has not previously been released by Lego. You can check out the original topic here. I hope that I cleared some confusion!

You should wait. With the release of the Desert Skiff I think we will be seeing the whole Jabba range released again.

I'm trying to come up with a banana pun to put here. Can't think of one. EDIT: I didn't realise this was from last month, sorry for bumping.

It's a shame this range was replaced by Microfighters, but these models are great! They show what might have been...
