I actually built this set by piece mail. If you decide to do that, I have extra dark red slopes for the roof, and the dark blue arches needed for the set.

I will be doing this as well. I'm sure a lot of people will be doing this. It will be really nice to see all the different setups there will be!

I just picked up 10212 Imperial Shuttle off Ebay for only $180. I've always wanted the set but I did not think it was worth $260 from Lego. It was NOT MISB but I was just going to open it anyway so for the huge savings I figured that was a deal! Already built it, and nothing was missing and came with all minifigs. +1 for me

Well I would never complain extra parts!! Thanks for the responses

I recently bought 10217 Diagon Alley. I just built Olivanders wand shop and upon finishing it I noticed I had 8 1x2 Black tiles left over. I looked through the instructions several times and cannot figure out where they go. I put the tiles on top of the windows on the first floor and I also put them underneath the first floor windows as well. Could it be that they just sent me an extra 8 tiles? Anyone else have this "problem"?

Wow very nice bus!! I have been trying to MOC an 8wide bus (using the basic design from the City Corner set) but I just have not found a great solution to the front window that I liked. Your design looks great.

Added a picture. Just made my Brickshelf account so I need to to wait until it becomes public, or is there another way?

Love the Batman sets and seen that this was missing, so decided to make it! It is missing the minifgis, the stickers, the minifig accessories, the 2 hoses on the side, and 1 flame. Image

Sorry for the confusion. But wow, just checked out your MOC Arkham Asylum and I am very impressed!! Its tremendous!

Yes I am going to brick build this!! Using LDD to get a general idea. I have already ordered a bunch of dark bluish gray bricks

About 6-8 months again I came out of my dark ages. I obviously missed the Batman lego sets but I just had to have them! I love the arkham asylum set but the size was just not doing it for me. I decided I would go and create my own. It is very much a work in progress but here is the general layout. It will most likely be going on green base plates so it will look like grass

Collectible Minifigures Trading Suggestion
adello25 replied to Donut's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I need Zombie minifigs from series 1. It could be with or without the accessories, in the package or opened. Let me know what you need in return. -
I really like the Hazmat Minifig from Series 4 (already have 6 of them!) so I decided that when an outbreak occurs they may need a van to get around. Pretty satisfied with the design. I've already ordered some pieces to build it in real life. I plan on creating a decal like the logo on the Hazmat minifig to put on both sides of the truck as well. Will probably do some tweaking when I see it in person. All C and C welcome!

I thought the same thing but when I went to the Lego Store near me, I asked a guy there and he said he's heard that the Grand Emporium will be retired first, even though the fire brigade was released first.

I would very much like the LDD file. There are some really nice techniques used in this design! If you can email it to adello25@gmail.com that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Towards the end I thought I was going to have to settle on regular red but thankfully was able to find the dark red =) I also did the same for market street. Spent about $125 on those pieces although I had a lot of them so it helped.
-
Haha I'm not sure. That is pretty insane! That is why I built it from scratch. I love the set but no way I would spend $500-600 on it.
-
I did same thing you did. I also bought all the pieces for the Cafe Corner. It was definitely worth it than paying $500-600+ on EBay or BrickLink. It cost me somewhere in the range of $150-175. However, the only problem now would be getting all of the pieces. There is one, a dark red slope piece that has been discontinued and bricklink only has a handful...you need 36. Other than that, the rest of the pieces shouldn't be too hard to get.
-
You won't be able to call Lego for this part. I called 3 separate times and each time they told me that they do not have any because it that part in that color is discontinued.
-
I actually just finished doing this! I was able to get the dark red slopes off BrickLink thank god! But I was contemplating color change as well. I was thinking red to keep the buildings color scheme somewhat similar.
-
Thanks guys! Yea I did it at work in about an hour. But you both are right, I was not crazy about the mirrors but just put something there for the moment. And blocky is that same thing I thought too. Gotta put more thought into it! haha

I bought 7641 City Corner set and I really liked it! However, I felt everything was too small. I am in the middle of doing an MOC Pizzeria using the same color and style. I also wanted to make a bigger bus for the Lego world. I increased the width to 8 wide, and increase the length by 4 (from 24 to 28) however, once I build it with real bricks I may decide to make it longer, need to see how it looks. I was also thinking of making it a different color but chose to stick with the yellow for now. Any-hoo, check out the picture's below. all comments welcome! Just one note, I know it looks like there is a few pieces of windows missing, LDD doesn't have all the pieces available for me to use
