  1. They have started printing horses, maybe they will make a zebra print?
  2. I already filed a noise complaint! Thanks for sharing this!
  3. I saw it in person at the weekend and the blue looks beautiful on the walls, and the house actually looks pretty adorable. I can't wait to get it :)
  4. That's the stuff :) And it didn't seem like a wait, what with chatting to people and such. Although I was sure tired by the time I left :)
  5. I will be there, am looking forward to it! :D
  6. I had an awesome time! I got there early (6:30) and went in the management doors. I was the first person, there were 5 of us at 7, and about 25 at 7:30. By 8 the line was around the corner and by 8:30 I couldn't see the end of it! They actually opened a half hour early which was nice of them, and let the first lot in. I grabbed the space shuttle set with the little van for $25 - I'm not keen on the set but I struggle designing cars so figured I could use it as a base, and then when I paid got a large Pick-A-Brick too. My origionally plan was to just get two PAB but was worried they wouldn't have much of what I wanted. I was wrong though! I got the mini figures, and they gave us a free copy of Lego Universe too, which I'm going to have to try to avoid playing as I don't have the time for an online game just now. The PAB wall was fairly basic, but had some useful small plates to fill in gaps, had some 1x4 reddish brown tiles, and I got a ton of grass along with some red flowers. I also got lots of 1x4 LBG bricks, which is just what I needed for some current builds, and some 1x2 and 1x4 reddish brown bricks with the indents. The staff were super nice, the store looked awesome, and I met some really cool people in line. I was out at a club until 3 am, so I was pretty tired, but it was well worth the sacrifice!
  7. At what point did it start to get really busy, line wise? I don't care if I'm number 300 as long as I'm not 301!! PAB is the main reason I'm going, I'm looking for LBG and DBG 1xX bricks - but I have never done PAB before! How does it work?
  8. I love the little barber shop, great details! I have also designed a night-club MOC, just waiting on some more orders to come from BrickLink! I was interested to see how you had approached some of your details so that I could compare it to my own ideas! :D
  9. I have one I'm making for a current MOC, but I think it might be a little too wide for the petshop space. plus I'm using the system from the FB to make mine :)
  10. They DO have the one with the pink smiley face on the chest! Oh lord, I'm gonna have the charge the iPad and get there stupid-early :(
  11. Hmmmm, I guess if I go at all it will have to be super early. I'd hate to miss out if they have the one with the pink smiley face on the chest!
  12. I'd love to come, how early should I be to ensure I get the mini-figures? Is 7am gonna be too late?
  13. That's nothing, I just paid $45 for 17 1x1 plates in dark orange!!!
  14. I'd like to enter, but will have to see some of the category B entries first as I just don't get it:/
  15. And not any ordinary drunks, that bottle looks to be about 4ft tall! Awesome display! I like your road :)
  16. Bah, I'm starting to wonder how I will hold out until my NYC trip in June when the first Lego store in my area opens in less than two weeks! Its going to be very tempting! I will probably remove the bathroom, I don't have the space for them in my own buildings so I just live in the fantasy worl that my Lego people dont poop :D I will probably make that area a storage room in my build. I can't wait to see a review with big pics!!!
  17. I think you had it right the first time - almost $4k spent on there since January
  18. Your additions makes me think of a DIY shop, with the green house in the back for the plants... If it were me, I'd have taken your original building and made it into a museum, with lots of bight, fun exhibits in side that could be seen through the front of the building, such as water falls and things. Like a museum about science and physics with hands-on experiements for the kids!
  19. Awesome! Might have to make the second building into a bookstore perhaps, the bay window reminds me of a dusty old second-hand book shop I used to explore as a kid :D
  20. This is outstanding work! I was thinking about making a cinema, but so far my WIP is a theatre, bar, nightclub, restaurant... I think I might have to make a few day-time activities first LOL
  21. Awesome design, and I love that you are sharing the LXF file!! This has to be the oddest spam ever!
  22. Interesting...
