Are you stupid or something? By that definition of 'middle', Rupert should still be high on your list. Richelle possibly? I was also going to say something, but like I said before, I was going to accuse you of being scum for voting so early.
-
Alright, I've gone over what's happened the last few days, but I still can't make heads or tails of it. My gut says Rupert, but I'm still not sure... I think I understand what you were doing, and let me just say that I was only going to reply to call you a hypocrite for voting so early after you told us not to be rash.
-
I suppose I phrased that wrong; 'I had a feeling she was town' would be a bit more appropriate. I was back and forth a lot on whether or not to vote for her yesterday, and while it's true that I did vote for her in the end, I regretted that decision almost immediately.
-
What an idiot I am! I knew I shouldn't have voted for her! And poor Aunt Cornelia! She was the only one left that I trusted. That's true, I wouldn't expect the scum to start off with any less than three, and there were more than two left, the game... of life would be over by now. In any case, I think it's pretty obvious that we're toast if we don't vote off a scum today. I'll be going over my notes and what's happened the last few days, and I'll come back with theories in a little while.

Very nice house, Toadtorrent! Not only have you created an amazing MOC of a real house complete with lots of details, you've also made professional looking instructions to go with it! Great job; I'm sure your friends will love it.
-
Fantastic service station, LT! I love the way you did the Shell sign, and the amount of detail in the diner/convenience store is amazing! I think you should add some 'Coca Cola' stickers to the fridge, and maybe you could add a little rack with some chips? Anyways, keep up the great work, LT!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Tamamono replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow! Thanks for the info, Alywin! Judging from the way the light hits the aliens torso (I've found that the Collectible Minifigures' parts look different in the light due to the different quality of plastic), I'd say this looks pretty real. However, since LEGO is an international company, I can't see them making something like the Statue of Liberty (although there are several in the world- not just in New York). All skepticism aside, both of those figures look really nice. The Alien's head looks fantastic, and I really like his torso print as well, and the new headgear mold for the Statue of Liberty looks great! Let's hope some more pictures leak soon! -
I've waited long enough, and Amy still hasn't shown, so I will: Vote: Amy Spalkowa (iamded)
-
Well, there's only six hours a few hours left in the day, and only one more vote needed to send Amy to her grave. I'm inclined to cast my vote for her, but it's crucial that we convict a scum today, and I don't want to make any rash decisions. Amy, this is your last chance. You have to speak up now and tell us why we shouldn't convict you.
-
Great job, SalvoBrick! I loved your last town, but this one's even better! I especially like the Police Station and the cafe/hotel (I'm pretty sure this one was in your last layout, right?). Anyways, keep up the good work!

Looking back at what she said, it's starting to look more and more like Amy's scum. I understand that Dragana did start the vote against her, but Amy voted for Dragana not because of this, but because she believed that Irena had made some 'interesting comments'. However, Irena did say on Day 2 that Amy's trust in Fuchsia was suspicious, so that makes me a bit more hesitant in voting for Amy. What are you talking about? The only things Irena said on Day 1 (that weren't about pie ) were that we didn't know anything and that she didn't want to convict anybody. Now, I understand that we convicted wrong on Day 1, but maybe she was pressing to not convict because of the suspicion cast upon Amy that day... There's nothing wrong with going over your notes without producing anything, but there is something wrong with being signed in anonymously invisible in a mafia game in this type of situation, which I see that you're doing again right now. So let me get this straight, first people suspect you because you're invisible, and then you give a half-megablocked explanation and turn invisible again? Real smart Amy, real smart. I'm giving you one more chance to defend yourself, Amy, but if you can't impress me with your defense, then I will most certainly be voting for you.
-
Well, I know I'm Loyal, so that would leave Rupert as the most likely accomplice- assuming Amy is scum of course.
-
That theory does make sense, even more sense than mine. It would explain why Amy voted for Dragana when it certainly wouldn't have helped her escape a conviction, and it would also explain why it took Amy so long to finally vote for Irena. Sorry if seem adamant in thinking that you're scum. I'm only suggesting different theories. Sorry, I didn't realize there was that much time left. No, it's not that I'm 'letting her off the hook', my theory (that Fuchsia and Petra are scum) is one of many I have. Fuchsia has been pretty helpful so far, but that could easily be a clever ruse. I don't know, I guess it's just a gut feeling I have. Fuchsia's suggestion about Amy being scum makes perfect sense. However I don't know who Amy's accomplice could be. Maybe Irena and Amy were the only scum to begin with? I'm stumped.
-
That's true. Irena could very well have pulled Pudgy Petra aside and told her to cast the fifth vote. However, I don't remember seeing Irena online around much on the day she was convicted; it's possible that she too busy baking pies to do so. Fuchsia's smart, and she's one to think ahead. If she had voted for Amy, and Amy had come up as town the next day (although Amy may very well be a scum too, and Fuchsia wanted to vote off Irena because she was the least active of the two), then it would've looked very bad for Fuchsia, as she would've betrayed Amy's trust. This is a game situation of distrust. If you're scum, and a townie trusts you, you manipulate that townie as much as possible. They're both full of weak excuses. I think at least one of them (Pudgy Petra or Fuchsia) is scum, if not both of them.
-
You're probably right. Maybe Jacob was the investigator, and that's why he started the vote against Irena, because he investigated her and found her to be scum? Yes, that was the tally. That's true, but Amy has publicly voiced her trust in you earlier that day. Voting for someone who trusts you isn't a very good decision. Or maybe you thought you could exploit that trust later on? Oh? And why is that? Your defense is less than convincing. That's another thing; your additions to the conversation have been well thought out and logical this entire game... of life, but when someone accuses you, you finally break down and give a defense with that many holes in it? People, I think we've found our scum. That's been bothering me as well; maybe she just didn't care? She didn't even show up to defend herself, never mind cast a vote of her own. That's definitely a possibility. Richelle is still high on my suspects list, I'm just kind of skeptical that she would start a vote off against a townie and make herself such an easy target for the next day. But that's just it, Irena would have been killed whether you voted for her or not. It was obvious at that point that she wasn't going to show up to defend herself/vote off Amy in time, so you decided to cast the fifth vote, thus tempting Amy to cast the final one.
-
Or maybe our investigator was either Sammy or Henry. That would explain the lack of night action results. However, in such an open game... of life, maybe the investigator wouldn't come forward at all? Maybe he or she would simply try to raise suspicion about the person they found to be scum. Dragana said she was suspicious of Pudgy Petra and Cornelia, maybe Dragana was the investigator, and she found one of them to be scum? When Pudgy Petra switched her vote over to Irena, she said that it was because 'she didn't want the day to end without a conviction', but if that had happened, one of the non-voters would be killed at random. However, the only person who didn't vote that day was Irena (Richelle also didn't cast a vote in the end, but Petra switched her vote before Richelle unvoted), so Irena would be killed anyway. Maybe Petra figured that she could take a bit of credit for voting off her nearly-doomed teammate? That's true, but what bothers me is that she did start off the vote against Dragana, which would make her obvious conviction material for today. I don't think a scum would do that, but maybe it's a double-bluff? She's certainly been less than helpful. In case anybody's forgotten, the vote went like this: Jacob (now deceased), Cornelia, Daniel (now deceased), Fuchsia, Pudgy Petra, and Amy. Now here's another theory. Maybe Fuchsia and Petra are scum, and Fuchsia decided that Irena was a liability, and thus decided to vote her off and gain some points with us townies. Fuchsia voted fourth, and asked Petra (who was on the Amy bandwagon at the moment) to vote right after her. This would make it so that only one more vote was needed, and it must've certainly been inviting to Amy to just seal it off, which she did. This is just a theory, but I think we should still consider it.

Not Daniel! And Dragana, I should've known that two scum wouldn't act the exact same! As Dad said, we need to convict a scum today. I'm going to go over my notes, and I'll be back in a little while with theories.
-
Thanks for the close-ups, sok117! Judging by the pic of Batman, it now looks like we'll definitely get some classic Batman sets! (he has the Earth Blue helmet and hands) The rest of the figures look pretty good in the close-ups as well, although Superman's facial expression is less than desirable.

Plo Koon and his trusty astro droid, R7-D4, travel the galaxy in search of the evil head of the Seperatist army, General Grievous. Will they be able to find the scheming General, or will they be forever lost in space? Follow their adventure as we build 8093: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter. Review: 8093 Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter Name: Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter Number: 8093 Theme: Star Wars: The Clone Wars Pieces: 175 Minifigures: 2 Price: 24.99 USD/25.99 GBP/27.95 EUR/39.99 AUD Brickset Peeron Bricklink LEGO.com Here's what Shop@Home has to say about it. The Box: The front of the box features Plo Koon flying his Jedi Starfighter though space under the 'Star Wars' logo. (Box pic from onetwobrick.net) The Instructions: The instruction booklet features the same art as the box. Now we can clearly see that Plo Koon is being shot at by some unseen enemy. Watch out, Plo Koon! A random instruction page. This features steps 22 and 23, in which the 'main' part of the ship is being finished up. There are piece call-outs in the instructions, which can be quite helpful to kids who are relatively new to LEGO building. The Pieces: The first part of the pieces. Here we have the light and dark gray pieces accompanied by some black and yellow bits. There seem to be lots of technic and hinge pieces in this set! The second part of the pieces. Here we ahve the white and blue pieces (mostly wedge plates) 8093 contains 175 pieces in all, which is alright for 25 USD. Please keep in mind that those blue wedge pieces are not printed; I just applied the stickers beforehand. Obviously, the most 'interesting' piece in the entire set is Plo Koon's head, which is made from a similar rubber to the S4 Mad Scientist hair. Other pieces of interest are the astromech body and head, the metallic silver lightsaber hilt, the round 2x2 tile with the Republic insignia, and the trans-black cockpit. Although not all of these pieces are particularly 'rare' (the cockpit and the lightsaber hilt are good examples of this), I'm still happy to get them. The Minifigures: The minifigures for 8093 are Plo Koon and his astro droid, R7-D4. Personally, I think this a great minifig selection, and I don't think that LEGO could've added any more without making the set over-crowded. Here's the back of the minfigs. No back printing in this set (apart from the back of R7-D4's head), but I don't really think it's needed for either of the 'figs. The Accessories: We only get one accessory in this set- Plo Koon's lightsaber. Generic as it is, I love getting another lightsaber hilt in metallic silver. The Build: Here's the build after step seven. Those hinge pieces are for holding on the landing gear and wings of the ship. It's not much yet, but don't worry, it gets better. The build after step fourteen. Now we've started to build up the cockpit and added the nose. As you can see, there's a number of 'regular' bricks used in the build, which isn't something you see every day in Star Wars sets. The build after step twenty-one. Now we've built up the 'main' part of the ship even more with the slope and wedge bricks. Not much to go now! And after step thirty-three, the ship is finished! We've added the wings (which were built in their respective sub-steps), finished the cockpit and the 'main' part of the ship, and added the fin in the back. I have to say, the ship looks superb. Complete Set: Here's the right flank of the ship. The ship looks just about the same on both sides, but the right flank has the nice Republic insignia and lightsaber on it, while the left flank does not. Here's an overview shot of the ship. From above, the blue and white striping pattern looks wonderful! The cockpit. Despite being stickers, I think the control panels are pretty nice. You can also see the Republic insignia and the lightsaber over on the right side there. Although I'm not sure why you'd want to leave a released lightsaber on the side of a ship... The underbelly of the ship. You can see the landing gear now, which can fold into the ship for 'takeoff'. It's a great way to make landing gear for a ship, much better than LEGO's old method of using these. Play Feature: The 'Play Feature' for this set is triggered by this little technic ball. The little technic ball is attached to this dark tan piece, which gets pushed up when you press the ball piece up. You place Plo Koon (or whoever you want) on top of the dark tan piece, which... 'Ejects' the driver out of the seat. I have to admit, it's a pretty entertaining 'play feature', although Plo Koon doesn't always go very far when 'fired'. I suppose the 'ejection seat' is meant to be used when the ship is on a slope. Final Verdict: 8093 is a really nice set. It represents the 'real' thing well, and it's a nice cheap way to get Plo Koon (and a beautiful new astro droid to boot! ). Now let's go onto the scores, shall we? SCORES: Design: 9/10 I've got to admit, the ship looks great. I know it's based on the Clone Wars television show, but the blue and white color-scheme goes perfectly on a Jedi Starfighter. Parts: 8/10 You get plenty of blue, gray, and white plates for your money, as well as some pretty interesting parts and stickers. Figures: 10/10 I personally think that Plo Koon and R7-D4 are all this set needs. Both 'figs look fantastic, and they're great additions to any Lego Star Wars fan's collection. Playability: 9/10 The 'ejection seat' is a pretty cool 'play feature', although it doesn't always work perfectly. Plus, the set is a spaceship, so I'm sure that any kid would be happy to 'swoosh' it around. Value for Money: 8/10 $25 USD isn't that bad for 175 pieces, and frankly, the ship itself is worth the money. I think LEGO could've lowered the price by about $5 USD, but it's still reasonable enough. Overall: 44/50 This really is a fantastic set, and like I said before, it's a nice cheap way to get Plo Koon. Parting Shot: Due to budget cuts, the Republic couldn't afford to put an ejection seat under the astro droid, so while Plo Koon gets to eject safely, poor R7-D4 has to go down with the ship. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to EB, JPS97! I hope you have a wonderful time here!
-
Wow! Thanks for the pictures, Mofo Jones! All the 'figs look great, but my favorites are definitely Poison Ivy and Wolverine. The Hulk mold looks fantastic as well, and I know he'll look better after he gets printed. One thing I noticed is that the Batman torso is different from the one on the 'LEGO Superheroes' website, so I assume we'll be getting classic Batman sets as well?
-
We get X-Men and the Avengers, too? This is a dream come true! Like others have said, I hope the sets are actually well done and don't just include poorly thrown together vehicles.
-
This is incredible news! Not only is LEGO Batman coming back, but we're also getting Green Lantern, Superman, and Wonder Woman sets as well! The only real concern I have is that the theme will be spread a little thin over four different heroes, and we'll probably only get one-two of each. Wow! Thanks for the pictures, commdr_neyo! All three of the figures look absolutely fantastic, but I can't help but love Superman and his new hair.

It's true, Dragana has been acting rather suspicious since this whole ordeal started, and what she said today makes her look even more suspicious. As stated before, the only doubt I have is that Dragana is acting almost exactly the same as Irena was (although Dragana is saying a bit more, but it's all still nonsense). Richelle also seems pretty suspicious to me, and she hasn't been adding anything really important, but at least she's not saying things like "Petra is still pudgy, I think my dear husband had a point there" and "Fuchsia and Cornelia have been ringing some alarm bells for me". With that said, I will Vote: Dragana de Belle-ville (Dragonator) I'm willing to unvote if something comes up.
