It won't make any difference now, but I'll Vote: Dmitri (Dragonator)
-
Apologies accepted. While I'm unsure whether or not Ruslana is the right decision, I have to agree that a Full Moon would be a terrible thing at this point in the game... of life. That's not what I meant. My point was that we need to vote out a Russian, and I do not believe that Ruslana is a Russian. She might be Baritone (but if she is, then Dmitri is either Russian or Baritone), or she might even be the poisoner (if that's the case, we need to keep her alive so she can continue to poison scum), but I just can't see her as Baritone. And just look at the votes. The ones who haven't voted for her are me, Samuel, and Irene. If she's Russian and there are four Russians (which I do think there are), then that would mean that me, Samuel, Irene, and her are all Russian. Although I have no way to prove it to you, I am Town. Why would I suggest something like this if I were Russian? If I were Russian, then I would have gladly voted for Dmitri and won the game... of life. Did I do that? No. You know why she's getting so many votes? Because most (if not all) of the people on the bandwagon are scum! Baritone, Russian, they're all scum! They've all figured that since she hasn't died by poison yet that she must be the poisoner, and both scum teams will stop at nothing to get rid of her. Why don't they just kill her quietly at night, you ask? Because she would still have a chance to poison before being killed (assuming she's the poisoner- which she's probably not). Whoops! I meant I can't see her as a member of the Russian Mafia.

Excuse me, Big Voice, I believe I already unvoted Boris.
-
You know, it's rather disquieting that so many people are willing to vote along with Dmitri, the very person who led us to convict Wilem yesterday... I suppose you have a point. While Boris seems like the most likely Russian, the last thing we want is another Full Moon, so I will Unvote: Boris (Brickdoctor) That was my only unvote, so I'm going to wait a bit before voting again so I can weigh the possibilities.
-
I understand, Samuel, and I'm sorry. However, Dmitri is likely to be Baritone, and we need to convict a Russian today! Believe me, I don't want another Full Moon, but I also don't want to convict the wrong person and die. If it gets to the end of the Day and it looks like we can convict Dmitri, then I will definitely consider changing my vote. But until then, my vote against Boris stands.
-
Well, there's only a few hours left in the day, and it doesn't look like we'll reach a conviction if the votes don't start. Dmitri and Ruslana are tied for votes so far, but I personally don't think either of them is a Russian. But they can't both be Baritone, because Dmitri started a vote against Ruslana. The only logical answer is that one of them is Baritone while the other is a Townie. Like I said before, we need to lynch a Russian today, and the best way to do that is to go for the people who were against lynching Ruxana. I've already made my case against Boris, so I will Vote: Boris (Brickdoctor)

"Well, there are six enemies, so I suppose I'll attack Scary Crow C from the Front Row!"
-
No, there's nothing wrong with following someone else's theories if you think they make sense. However, it makes sense for a scum to have been on Ruxana's bandwagon on Day 3, and you fit the bill best. You lay low enough to avoid suspicion due to your vote, but you still voiced an open opinion.

It's Underwater Action Themes Month!
Tamamono replied to Hinckley's topic in Forum Information and Help
Ooh, this looks pretty interesting! I'm definitely looking forward to what the staff has in store for us this month! That was my initial reaction as well, but I have to admit, I love the new banner. -
Exactly. I think it's safest to convict a member of the Russian mafia today instead of Dmitri. Now, there is the possibility that the only Russian Mafia members were Max and Donil, but that's very unlikely. As I said earlier, our best shot at getting a Russian would be to convict Boris or Samuel, as they are the only living people who voted for Ruxana (I did too, but I know I'm Town) on Day 3. Samuel could be scum, but he argued an awful lot. If he and Donil were both scum, he wouldn't have wanted to draw that much attention to himself. However, that's the same logic we used with Denis on Day 1 (He can't be scum! Just look at how much he's arguing!), so anything's possible. I'd say Boris is the more likely of the two. In his voting statement he said that he 'had a gutâ„¢ feeling that Ruxana is scum, and he'd rather kill the unblockable one of the two'. That was the same point I had made earlier (minus the gut part ), and following the theory of someone else always gives you the opportunity to say, "Hey, I'm not the only one! That guy was wrong, too!" if necessary. Mainly though, he kept his head down on Day 3. That's exactly what a scum would do; he would keep his head down while still trying to prevent Donil from being convicted.

"Didn't I heal Christopher after the battle with the Direwolves?"

That's certainly a bold move, Dmitri. I too have been extremely suspicious of Ruslana because of the way she just pops in, votes for no reason, and then pops out. However, I don't think her voting pattern suggests that she's a Russian. She voted for Benji, Petr, Donil, Ruxana, Samuel, Dmitri, and Dmitri again today. On Day 3, Donil was convicted, and he was a member of the Russian Mafia. Day 3 is a little early to be giving up on your scum friends, so I'd expect the Russians of that time (I suspect it was Max, Donil, and one other to begin with) to have voted for Ruxana in hopes that their ally could be saved - especially after what happened to Max that day. The people who voted for Ruxana on Day 3 were Samuel, Denis, Nika, Petra, me, Yan, Boris, and Petr. All of those people are dead expect me, Samuel, and Boris. I know I'm town, so that leaves either Boris or Samuel as a Russian Mafia member. Now, there's definitely the possibility that Ruslana was converted after Day 3, but it's much harder to tell who's who when we're looking for those who have been converted. What makes you think her voting pattern suggests that she's Russian?
-
It seems that everyone's forgetting what I said, so I'll say it again: we need to kill a member of the Russian Mafia to survive today. If they have four more members, then even voting off a Baritone means we lose. I think it was pretty obvious that Dmitri was with Denis, who was Baritone. Now don't come to me saying, "Oh! There's no way he and Denis were on the same team! Denis wanted to kill him earlier today!", because that's what everyone was saying. For whatever reason, Dmitri's plan to win the game... of life yesterday failed, and now he and his teammates understand that all the non-Baritones (Russians, Neutrals, Townies) will want him dead. We need to convict a member of the Russian Mafia.
-
Woohoo, another Baritone! It appears that Stan was right about Denis, but let me stress the same point I've made before: it only takes one mole in the group to get all the night action holders killed. So we shouldn't just say, "Hey, Denis was scum, so Dmitri must be scum as well!" (although Dmitri probably is scum because of his 'investigation' of Wilem). I wonder how many non-town citizens are left? There's obviously one poisoner and possibly two(?) Baritones left, but how many Russians? They killed on Night 2, but what of the other nights? I'm thinking that they possibly failed a conversion of Elena on Night 1 (in other situations like these, major town night actions can't be converted) and so that's why they decided to kill her, but there's still nights 3-6 for them to convert. It's entirely possible that they converted for two or three nights to cover their losses from Day 3 and failed a kill another night. However, neither mafia could possibly have five or more people left (there might be more than five scum total, but not five on one particular team) or they would have already outnumbered us. In order for us townies to win this, we need to make sure that we are staggering our scum convictions so that we don't get outnumbered. One Russian, one Baritone. I think it's safe to say that the Russians probably have more right now, so I think we should focus on them today.

Happy birthday, Cecilie!
-
"My thoughts exactly. Onwards, Ranger Docken!"
-
"I think that's the best course of action, but we have to remember that the scarecrow is at a dead end, so we'll have to take some turns now and again."
-
"Okay, I'd like to heal Christopher Daggerfall." "Left sounds fine to me!"
-
So the decision to investigate Wilem was all your own, then? Who were your 'suspects', and did Raya discourage you from investigating any one of them?
-
"Well, this will definitely be a tough one." "Which way does everybody think we should go?" "I'd be happy to heal you if Ranger Docken is alright with that."
-
Yan was the Peeping Tom!? Did he tell you what his results from last night were before he died? Well, there's Patrick and Raya. I'd say it's most likely Patrick. I talked to him in private on Day 5 (?), and he said that he thought Dmitri was scum, yet he didn't vote for him or even express that opinion in public. If Dmitri is scum, he would have known about Wilem coming up as Town, so claiming to have found someone else innocent would make that person seem extremely suspicious, so I don't know what to think of Raya. Dmitri, who have you been in contact with recently? If you're town, then maybe we can find the person who asked you to investigate Wilem. Maybe Dmitri is a Baritone, and he and his team (Vera and a few others) had planned to get rid of a townie yesterday and win, but when Vera died, their plan was ruined. Dmitri couldn't very well just step back and say, "Oh, my bad! I don't think Wilem's scum after all.", so he continued with the conviction in hopes that the poisoner's victim today would be a member of the Town. Well, the Russians could have converted him/her after he/she killed Max, but I doubt that he/she is a member of the Baritones at this point. He/she is most likely still a serial killer. Does anyone have any idea who he/she is? I doubt he could be a miller and a poison doctor (or whatever) as Samuel claims.

Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread
Tamamono replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So that's what it was! -
I think the other one's you. You're the only one here with gray legs. Also, what's that red thing on Ruslana's back? It looks like a bandana.
-
Nope. That's Ruslana. There's also Patrick and (I assume?) Ivan. They get scum, I suppose. That makes Naive Cops even more useless and confusing.
-
How could we have been wrong about Wilem!? Dmitri, you better have a good explanation... And poor Yan! Who would want to kill him? At least we've finally gotten confirmation of a second mafia family with Vera's death. Or Wilem was framed. It's very unlikely, but I suppose it's possible. Dmitri, you are almost definitely scum. If nothing big happens today, then my vote will be for you. And people, don't come saying, "Oh, there's no way he's scum! He wouldn't have brought forward something like that if he were town!", because we could have already lost. Dmitri would've accounted for the poisoner's kill and planned accordingly. If a townie dies by poison today, we could very well lose the game... of life. Also, what the hell is with all the bodies on the right side of this photo? As far as I know, those people are still alive.
