"That Bombard sounds like a pretty nasty ability, but hopefully we'll be able to finish off the ants before they can make use of it. I'll attack Ant C from the back row!"
-
"Thank you very much for the Grand Tonic, Ranger Docken! Now we're free to check stack 2."
-
"Wow, we're doing quite well today! Five stacks searched and not a single fire bomb among them! So which stack should we search next?"
-
"Three items in a row, what are the odds? We still have two ants and three fire bombs left in the remaining haystacks, so we best be careful. How about stack number five next?"
-
"A phoenix essence!" "That will certainly come in handy in a tight situation. So we've found one ant and two items, so there are three fire bombs, two ants, and one item left. Which one should we check next, Ranger Docken?"
-
"Well, that was certainly a pleasant surprise! We haven't hit any of the fire bombs yet, so it's fine to keep on guessing. Stack 9 it is!"
-
"Good work Ranger Docken, there's hope for the farm yet! It's all guesswork here, so Stack 3 is as good as any."
-
This looks really nice, but I don't want to go spreading myself too thin over the next couple of months what with Bloodbrick II and all, so I'll have to pass. Good luck everybody, I'll be watching from the sidelines!

"Gah! Another field ruined. I suppose I'll attack Scarecrow from the back row!"

At first I was very suspicious of her, and even tried to get Ron to follow her that night, but once you were revealed as scum I pretty much left it alone. Then when I got into contact with JimB, he told me that you told him that Pandora didn't have a night action, I started to think about it. You did a pretty good job causing confusion at the end there, WBD. Thanks, Hinck! I tried not to use my guts too much, and even used my head a bit this time, but I suppose I'll never be able to stop the crazy theories. But I'm glad to see that I was finally right! I hope to be able to play with you in the next game. Thanks again for letting me play! I had an incredible time playing with everyone, and I hope to be able to play in a game with you all again soon!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Tamamono replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, thanks for the pics, Bane! This series looks fantastic! All of these figures are absolutely gorgeous, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be either the Alien, the Butcher, or the Roman Centurion. The only 'fig that I'm not too keen on would have to be the Bandit, but I think he has the revolvers in black, so that's a plus. Here are my thoughts on each of the individual figures: Alien: His new torso works so much better than the robot's torso (obviously, because it wouldn't be his torso if it didn't look good!), but the head is really the highlight of this 'fig. Genie: You've got to love the new molds on this guy. The lamp, the wisp of smoke, the jewel for the headdress... Not much of a fantasy fan, but I'll definitely have to pick this guy up. Roman Centurion: The shield and the helmet are absolutely gorgeous, and his face, torso, and leg printing are amazing as well! I'd say this one's even better than the Gladiator! Statue of Liberty: A very nice figure, but I personally have no use for her. Spacewoman: Finally, the S2 Pop Star's hair in blonde! The rest of her is pretty nice too (especially the face print!), but the hair is definitely the best part of the 'fig. Skater Girl: I can't help but feel that the concept and hair are too overdone (although it's nice that we get some pink stripes in it this time), but it's fairly well done. Bandit: Like I said above, the figure seems a bit bland to me, but the torso print and the black revolvers are pretty nice. Robot: So this is the 'fig that that great torso was from! This is another really nice 'fig, but it seems to me that LEGO is overusing a few of their CM concepts. He seems to have some sort of neck accessory; what do you all think it is? It looks a bit like airtanks to me. Celtic Warrior: I'm not too fond of this figure, but the new broadsword and the Dumbledore hair in brown are great! Might have to pick this one up as well. Surgeon: I can't really see it clearly, but this was one of the 'figs I was hoping for. The hair net (not sure if that's the word) and the torso print are going to be very useful for Hospital MOCs. Flamenco Dancer: A wonderful figure! I'm so happy that they'll be using the S4 Ice Skater's hair in more colors, and while some people hate minifigs with teeth, I love the face. Minotaur: Another wonderful figure, and it will pair up great with the Roman! The minotaur headpiece is fantastic, but it's a shame the horns don't come off (as far as we know). Leprechaun: I have to admit, the pot of gold looks much better with the fold actually in it. Apart from that, it's always nice to get more suits, and the prints are lovely! Pajama Kid: Not the best concept, but it's packed full of great parts. The hair, the teddy bear, and the pajama torso (finally!) all make this 'fig worth it! I wonder if that bear will be used in the Friends theme... Butcher: So many useful parts! The meat and the cleaver are amazing, and the torso and leg prints would be perfect for a soda jerk! Not to mention all the military MOCs that will be made possible with his hat painted dark green. Mechanic: I'm so happy that we're finally getting a proper mechanic torso and toolbox, and the hair and the pearl silver wrench make it all the sweeter! All in all a fantastic series! My poor wallet's going to end up taking a beating this year. -
"Indeed we shall. I'll attack Scary Crow C from the back row!"
-
"Sounds good; the scarecrow can wait until we've gotten rid of it's healing method. I'll attack Scary Crow E from the back row!"

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: sign up thread
Tamamono replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum was the first mafia game I ever followed, and I would be deeply honored to be able to play in this one! - I've played in three games so far: I was Claudia Toscana in Sandy's Isla Paradisa Mafia School, I was Tammo de Belle-ville in Quarryman's Belville Mafia, and I was Timur in Hinckley's Baritones 3. - Because I use my guts instead of my common sense. I'd love to play, so I certainly hope you'll consider me for the game! -
So that's why the scum were able to block JimB and find out his role as well as find out iamded's role! I was wondering, because I figured that there couldn't have possibly been enough blockers left to block JimB twice (Kartoffel was the 'dark figure lurking outside', while def was the hijacking blocker that gave you a headache). I'm not sure if it's really fair to let blockers know if their target has a night action or not, but I suppose that was to balance out the trackers being able to watch and track the same target in the same night. Hey, that's than last time! I had a great time playing with you too, and that goes for everyone as well! I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game; thank you so much for letting me be a part of it, Hinck!

It was only because of your inactivity. You were so proactive in Belville that your lack of activity in this game made it kind of obvious. Ah, I see how that worked. One townie comes forward with a message asking people to trust someone, and then the other townie comes forward with a message telling everyone not to trust the very person who came forward with the first message. I have to admit, it was a great plan. Luckily, neither Peanuts nor I had the guts to bring forward our 'dream messages'. You weren't really acting the same in this game as you were in that one. I don't know, maybe I'm not metagaming enough. That was only because you presented those PMs from Shadows and Draggy. But yes, it is pretty funny.
-
"Good idea. I'll attack Scary Crow B from the back row!"

I contacted Doc telling him about what was in the dream, and while I was suspicious of it, I knew better than to look a gift horse in the mouth. Doc and I got a pretty solid line of communication set up, but after a few days he seemed very reluctant to post anymore, and that's one of the main reasons I was suspicious of him. Peanuts told Sandy and Sandy told me, but I didn't get it. I kept on looking for a hidden message, but I couldn't find one (but I did find one in the Day 7 Conclusion! When Doc was explaining the rules of the gameshow, he said that one teammate would give the other clues about the word. iamded was giving Quarry clues, but Pie and I just kept buzzing and shouting out random answers, so I figured that iamded would be on Quarry's team while Pie would be scum). Hinck, were there any 'red herrings' in the pictures in this game? I was wondering why you kept bringing that up in the Day 7 Conclusion. And I thought you were scum in FABULAND Housewives too. I'd like to ask everyone; were any of you ever suspicious of me in this game?
-
Well, it's not all the same type of protection, but I guess you're right. You really did set the game up pretty equally, it just seems like it was in favor of the scum because we lost all our night actions early on. Ah, sorry.
-
You've got a point, the game was pretty well balanced at the beginning. However, we lost our bodyguard on Day 2, our blocker and our investigator on Night 2, and our first inventor on Night 3. I suppose it's just the way things turned out. I think the worst move on the town's part was lynching Ron; he had possibly the most useful action of all, but why did he never use it!? He claimed to have tracked Bob on Night 1, WBD on Night 2, and when he finally killed, he killed Zepher!? I suppose his conviction was partly my fault, because he and I were planning for him to follow Doc or Panda, and I told Sandy all about it. I think the only thing the town could have used would have been another protector (like a 50% bodyguard from The Forest or a Paranoid Doctor), but overall it was pretty even. I kept hoping that the scum would try to kill a PGO or a Bomb, but nothing happened to either of them throughout the entire game. I guess luck just wasn't on out side. What items could Shadows give? Iamded claimed that he could give guns, shackles, magnifying classes, and vests, but apparently Shadows could give rigged grenades as well.

I was on to Pie and Pandora by Day 5, and I was pretty suspicious of Draggy by that point as well. The only one I didn't see through until the end was Foog, and only because he lived so long for seemingly no reason. Also, let's not forget Rick. I honestly thought he was a member of the Town until it was revealed that he was the poisoner. I was under the impression that Quarryman was the poisoner because he didn't die even though he was the quietest one of all! Great job Rick, you are one scary serial killer. I agree. The Forest was pretty good for reference, but that game was played almost entirely by PM, while this one was a bit more out in the open. I'll have to read through it a few more times before Bloodbrick II (I assume that's the next game?). I was on obsessively throughout the entire game, but I unfortunately wasn't much help to the Town. And I didn't even go with my gut!

Happy birthday, Bonaparte!

I knew CMP, Draggy, Foog, and Panda were scum! I knew it! (although I figured they were on two different teams) Good game, guys; congratulations to the winners! You guys all played great games, and you deserve the win! And Hinckley, thank you so much for hosting this amazing game and letting me be a part of it! Here's why I didn't just vote Draggy and urge everyone else to vote for him as well: Iamded had contacted Sandy on Day 5 (I think?) and told her that he was the new inventor. Sandy and JimB and I already had a PM going between the three of us, and we were willing to let iamded prove himself by giving Sandy an item. The next day, Sandy comes back saying that iamded claimed that he couldn't use his action until Night 6. At this point I was pretty skeptical of his action, but still willing to give him a chance. The next day, Sandy comes back saying that iamded claimed he had been blocked. I pretty much called megablocks there and ignored what iamded had to say in the Day threads. Why oh why did I not listen to him? I had convinced myself that Doc was a Russian by the end of Day 7, but I decided to switch my vote over to Draggy because of how fast the votes were stacking up against Quarryman. By that point it was obvious who the scum were, but there was nothing I or any of the other townies could do. That Day 7 was so similar to the Bloodbrick's Asylum Day 7. Anyways, I had a fantastic time playing, and I certainly hope that I'll be able to get in to future games despite my guts in Belville and my imaginary Russians in this game.

Baritones 3 Confirmation and Discussion thread

Absolutely hilarious, Hinck! That scene where CMP and I just keep buzzing had me laughing so hard! All the other Day conclusions were fantastic, but this one takes the cake! -

No, I wouldn't have the guts to do something like that.
