Wow Doc, the pictures for this quest are gorgeous! I especially love the crescent moon made out of cheese slopes.

The prices for the vehicles aren't too bad, but they're a bit steep everywhere else (namely on the police dog van and the new police station). What I'm mostly interested in is the vehicle sets (might have to get a couple forest police sets just to try them out), so the high-ish prices on the other sets don't really apply to me. I was actually half expecting the vehicles to be at $25 USD, but I'm relieved that they're lower.

Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions
Tamamono replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Yes, I think Bric'lin's a pretty good place to start, so let's head there first. Obviously, we can backtrack and go to one of the other places afterwards, and I assume it will take a night to travel back here from Bric'lin after we're finished there, correct?" -
Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions
Tamamono replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Alright everybody, where do you think we should go first? Going to Bric'lin first might be a good idea, as it requires the shortest journey, but then we would end up saving the other, longer routes for when we've lost a bit of health and ether, so we might not be able to stand a chance against highwaymen and monsters. However, it will be easier for us to go to R'klif or Brobric later after we've gained a level or two. I think Bric'lin might be the best choice at this point, just so we can see what we're up against before diving into one of the longer routes. What does everyone else think?" -

It certainly looks like it! It's good to know that we've taken out a killer this early in the game... of life.

A bit late, but happy birthday, I Scream Clone!

Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions
Tamamono replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Whoops! I figured that all the weapons had to be in the first few slots, but I completely forgot to switch my Gold Staff with my new Shadeaux Staff. It's fixed now." -
Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions
Tamamono replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"This certainly is strange. What could that lion insignia on the knife mean? It certainly doesn't belong to any of the noble houses... Let's wait for everyone to confirm and grab a weapon, and then we can decide where to go. I think I'll take a Shadeaux Staff - WP: 5, myself. Thank you very much for your generous gift, Mr. Shawe!" -
In preparation for the quest, Tomas buys one Remedy for 10 gold and one Potion for 5 gold. He now has 20 gold.

Seeing his name on the list for Quest #4, Tomas grins and goes to the Marketplace to prepare for the journey.

I think it's pretty obvious what needs to be done here. Vote: 'Lumpy' Zed Furby (Zepher)

Yeah, I suppose a townie could use that action for trying to make sure the best pills don't end up in scum hands. Maybe the thief action is a pill then?
-
Good point. A thief action seems like something the scum would have rather than a pill that's likely to be taken by townies. If that's the case, then the scum have an extra pill tonight.
-
I saw that too. Why didn't he talk when he was first here? Was he busy looking for a good excuse for why he killed Crackerman? What? Your meds were stolen too? I suppose there really is a pill thief around here. I wonder if the pill thief is a set scum/neutral/town action (probably not neutral, because god did say the only neutral is a SK) or if it's a product of a pill?

Someone who actually spoke more than twice a day. I can imagine a doctor carrying a scalpel or some other sharp surgical tool, but a gunblade? No. Not even an insane doctor would have something like that. And I recall the last serial killer in this hospital used a gunblade as well. It really is looking like you're the serial killer. I'd rather get rid of a scum today, but someone who indiscriminately kills townies isn't someone we want to have around.
-
Likely story. Why would you be protecting Crackerman? Did he do anything that made him a good choice for protection? It sounds to me like you're a serial killer who chose a target that you figured would be unprotected (Crackerman), and now you're making up ridiculous excuses to cover it up. Besides, what kind of doctor carries a gunblade around?
-
Whoops, almost forgot my meds! Day One, Shift One: 1. Nasal Inhaler Poby Flanagan 2. The Big Fat Pill Ali "Periscope" Perry 3. DMT Pandoo 4. White Crystals Pearl Nuttin 5. Powdered Rhino Horn Rickety Cannon 6. Red Devils Draxia 7. Horse Tranquilizers Stanley Spussemmin 8. Peach Cobbler Shalonda Cunningham 9. Lemon Peel "Tammo" 10. Sponk Boo Cameron 11. Downers Heng Lewley Down the hatch! That's a good point. If nobody revealed their actions, then we wouldn't be able to get the scum. Let's just hope whoever gets those two pills today will be able to survive the night. If Lumpy is the SK (or even the scum killer), and we lynch him today, then he can't kill anybody.
-
Oh no! Poor Rolly and Rick! Frankly, I was suspecting Carl to actually come up neutral, what with his strange claims and all, but apparently he was town. He really dug his own grave with his behavior. Thank you both for being brave enough to reveal your results, but don't you realize that you've now made those pills useless? Whoever gets them will be killed by the scum so they can get rid of the pill! Well, at least you were able to catch Lumpy in the act. It looks like we're going to be lynching a scum/serial killer today!
-
It is. Nope, my name's Tammo. Pelly's the guy who cowers in the corner all day with his book. She's not? I guess that means we can't eat her after all. Too bad, I was really looking forward to some fire-roasted fish.
-
Wait, we still have some booze? What am I waiting for!? Bottoms up!
-
It seems nobody else is going to bed, so I might as well stay up with the rest of you. Ooh! I'd like to play!
-
But god told us that there is only one!
-
Wow, this thread exploded. All this talk of Tattoo Face being neutral, or townie, or testicles, it's so confusing! Tattoo Face, claiming neutral is not a good way to save yourself. Any good townie would rather kill a neutral then a fellow member of the town. You know why it worked in Werewolf? Because the Werewolf Hunter had already proven himself as a neutral working with the townies. In this game... of life... the only neutral wants to kill us all in our sleep. *applesauce* *applause* Bravo! Bravo! I hope we'll get to see more of your fantastic plays this game...of life, Mr. Heng! You know, it's this kind of crap that makes me glad that we're voting you out. Sorry! I forgot to Vote: Carl "Black Beast" Pie (CallMePieOrDie)

Voting patterns. Every conviction gives us voting patterns, and those can be very useful for finding scum. In addition to that, we're going to be in big trouble with Bloodbrick if we don't convict.
