  1. "It would make sense for someone as important and powerful as Keveak to have guards just waiting to come to his aid. In any case, fighting them is not an option at this point." "I don't know, suddenly I'm not feeling so confident in this contract. What does everyone else think?"
  2. "Good to hear. Now, I'm sure all of you heard the conversation that was going on between Keveak and his subordinates. It sounds to me like both lieutenants are against having us do their work for them ("-aux do it for us!" and "-ve no honor!"). I'm positive that the female elf was saying 'Shadeaux', so obviously they know who we're working for. Mr. Shawe, I can only assume that they recognized you or the Shadeaux weapons we are carrying. This tells us that these elves are especially sharp." "The thing that had me especially concerned is what Keveak was saying, "-id of 'em is what matters, not how it's don-". This likely refers to how they get rid of the Lion Knight, but it could also mean that they could easily get rid of us. What does everyone think of this?" "Mr. Shawe, are there any guards in the main room apart from the two lieutenants?"
  3. Tomas makes sure that the door is tightly shut before speaking. "Mr. Shawe, do you think they could be listening at the door to what we're saying?"
  4. Tomas reads over the charter. "I can't find anything particularly objectionable, but I would like to speak with my companions in private once again regarding the section that states that we must 'relinquish any previous priorities and submit themselves to the command of Lord Keveak'. We will be back with our final decision."
  5. "Indeed we have. We will sign this contract of yours, but I'd like to read over the entire document first, just as a precaution. I hope you understand."
  6. "That's a good idea, De'kra. If what Mr. Shawe says is true, and the Brobric Elves avoid much contact with the six noble houses, then just telling them that we work for one of those houses may be enough."
  7. "No, I think they'll probably want the name of the house."
  8. "Oh, that's right... Unfortunately, I think we may end up having to tell them who we work for." "I still don't like this contract, but it's unlikely that we'll be able to get the information out of them if we don't sign it. Does anyone else have any ideas?"
  9. "Yes, before we go back out there, we have to figure out what we're going to say. Maybe we could come out and ask them if the contract would still be acceptable despite the fact that we're already working for another group? We don't have to name the Shadeaux specifically."
  10. "I'm actually kind of against signing the contract. If it comes out that we are currently working for the Shadeaux, the Elves may become angry and take action. The last thing we want is to be fighting both the Brobric Elves and the Lion Knights. However, we have to sign if we want to find out anything of the Lion Knights' whereabouts. Maybe we could ask if the contract would still be agreeable even if we're already working for someone else?" "I agree, Cinna. Lying will get us nowhere." "I don't know, I seem to remember that the quest specifically stated that we were working for the Shadeaux. I wonder if the Brobric Elves have any way of communicating with the Hall... Mr. Shawe, do you know if they do?" "I agree, Thormanil. Lying would be a bad decision, but trying to fight them would be utter suicide." "That's one of the things that has been bothering me. Why do the Brobric Elves care about the Lion Knights? And more importantly: why are they taking action here in R'Klif?" "That's another good point. What if they suddenly ask us to start attacking innocent civilians or to raid the Hall? We have to make sure that we read the fine print just in case."
  11. "My companions and I would like to go to that room and discuss your offer. We won't be long."
  12. "What would this contract include?" Challenge accepted. "Sir Leo, could you try to negotiate with Lord Keveak?"
  13. "It depends. What are you interested in? If it's gold you want, then we can't help you, but if you're looking for help in driving off the invaders, we'd be happy to oblige. Would JediAnakin's diplomacy skill work here?
  14. "Sounds good." "My companions and I have been hired to track down these Lion Knights."
  15. I whisper to Isaac, "Mr. Shawe, are we allowed to tell outsiders about the mission?"
  16. "Greetings, Lord Keveak. We are travelers from Heroica, and we're currently looking for the Lion Knights. Do you know anything of their whereabouts?"
  17. "Yes, let's go to the Red House."
  18. Tomas walks up to the Brobric Elves. "Greetings. My companions and I are looking for the Lion Knights. You wouldn't happen to know where to find them, would you?" "It might be a good idea to go over to that 'Old Red House' at some point and try to find out a bit more about the Lion Knights, but we should finish up here first."
  19. "Thank you, Sir Leo! I don't think we would've been able to get past those guards without your diplomacy." "I think we should check out the tavern first."
  20. "Sir Leo, could you please try to persuade these gentle...elves(? ) to let us pass? They're being rather unreasonable."
  21. "Let me assure you, we are no friends of the Lion Knights. In fact, we are currently searching for them. We heard rumors that they were here in R'Klif, so we came to see what we could find out." Would JediAnakin's diplomacy skill work here?
  22. Wow, it looks fantastic! I think everybody did a great job! I had a wonderful time participating in the build, and I hope I have the opportunity to do it again!
  23. "I think we should move on. We're almost to our destination."
