To answer your question it is entirely up to you, I just bought my first modular building FB (fire brigade) and now I want more, even if you do not intend on buying more once you buy one you want another, I'm hoping to get GE (grand emporium) and PS (petshop) for my bday and xmas. The thrill of building a modular set is like no other set, the amount of detail in them and techniques used are well worth it let alone the amount of bricks you get. I'm kicking myself now after getting FB because I missed out on green grocer and cafe corner and market street, not an officiial mod but still cool. But the decision is yours, I'd say it's well worth it

Hehe this made me giggle, I did think about Homer Simpson too though it's strange I didn't think about the situation in Japan. The timing is unfortunate but I do like something thats stepping it's foot over the border and provoking a reaction. I thought about the floors of the petshop, I thought the ground floor would have pets, the first could be treats and toys like the small bone piece etc. the top floor could be for the pet owner where they live, maybe? The house next door could be a properly furnished house, kitchen and lounge area downstairs, first floor bedroom and bathroom and top floor attic area with telescope or something? That's the idea in my head

Thanks LT, well I've also got the Fire Brigade modular building and thought about turning the yellow house and hospital into modular buildings I plan on getting Grand Emporium sometime and the new Petshop when it comes out, wish I had gotten the Green Grocer and Cafe Corner

Lets start it off... The City Hospital Made a few years ago but I thought it's good enough to put up here. I made it because I missed out on TLG's hospital but IMO it didn't look too great. I wasn't thinking anything when I built this and had no plans and no idea so was going at it blind but I wanted to make it seem detailed enough, the reason why I left the top open backed was because I ran out of bricks Bumblebee House The old house needed renewing and this is the result, I made it similar to the family house because I just got that a fortnight ago (sorry for the crappy picture) Racing Quadbike After wondering what to do with my broken trike frame because I couldn't bring myself to chuck it I turned it into a quadbike, the front wheel connector things were snapped so I added 2 wheels (Photos are links to more pics)

Interesting shape, looking good, sorry I'm useless with names and building big awesome ships but it looks good so far, look forward to seeing the final product

An idea was for it to be interchangeable so you could choose what weapons you'd have, I thought of doing a big artillery cannon replacing the main gun and fuel tanks, also a kind of quad flak cannon and apc. I've had my first taste of post apocalyptic goodness so expect more to come.

Cool beach, I'd use some white cheese slopes instead of studs though. You could also add light blue for shallow parts and dark tan for wet sand but in a wavey line across the beach. Have you looked at some pics of beaches to give you some ideas? Also a big wave for the surfer, cowabunga dude! Very nice city, good job nice bright pics too.

I've took a break from steampunk to do some different mocs, here's one my bro commisioned, he wanted a tank and this is what I came up with. I managed to take some photos before he alters (ruins) it In this post apocalyptic world we humans need to defend ourselves from the evil AI and what better way to than 'The Annihalator'. Designed primarily for taking out flying drones with it's 75mm Autocannon and several surface to air missiles this beast gets the job done, aswell as two extra fuel tanks for those weekends away. That looks cool, it does need a splash of brown and gold here and there to give it a more steampunky feel and maybe some steam, but well done, it does look like the picture

That's very yummy indeed, I like the use of dark orange but at the same time would like to see some variation, idk if you've tried adding extra colours apart from the brown mud, you could try some dark tan to mix it up a little, other then that I think this is outstanding landscaping, I can imagine a whole 4x8 table covered in this and I really love the use of the brown heads as tree trunks, NPU and that jeep is pretty sweet too Good job.

I've always wanted to do an ice cream van, it does need a big cone on top though, this is excellent Loving the door and the dispenser I think instead of the cupboards have a fridge similar to this with some ice lollies in, also a menu is standard, minifigs gotta know what ices you have, rocket lollies, strawberry splits, vanilla sandwiches, 99s, etc, mmm...
