You don't type in a picture link to upload to Brickshelf, you navigate the browser to the file and click it directly. If it isn't accepting the file you click, you're not pointing it at something with a suitable extension (jpg, gif, png). If that's the problem, you need to solve that first. Your images must be in a standard acceptable format to be uploaded there or posted here and named accordingly. You created two topics. The forum software can't just create a second topic unless you do.

Whoa there people... 4 dead in a night? Ok, let's try to follow this... crazy babbling Drake killed the love of his life and himself? Does he mean he killed her by getting them stranded here? If so, why would someone else kill her and seal his fate? Shame too, he was kinda cute. How many people could the insanes possibly kill in one night? I wouldn't think more than one, which leaves us with 2 unaccounted for. I'm afraid we may have a sane person who has taken it upon themselves to solve this problem on their own, and they made a mistake last night. I would ask that they please be more careful about that as we can't afford to take so many sane losses. And even then, we're still stuck with one more death to account for. This isn't making any sense at all. Kind of weird, too... three to one. Just the ratio we talked about so much yesterday. Not a good start, but hopefully that still leaves us with the same ratio and isn't a total loss. I do get the feeling we lost someone important in Carter though.

With all of this cooking to do, I haven't been able to pay as much situation to the discussions as I would have liked, but it doesn't do us any good to figure out the insanes if we starve to death before we can deal with them. As I've been cooking, however, I have been thinking. If there is any logic to this situation, the three who arrived late must include one insane who sabotaged the helicopter. So, statistically, there really is a better chance of us getting lucky and finding them than there is voting for one random person out of the much larger group. Where X=# of insanes (unknown), X in 3 is a lot better odds than X in 18, isn't it? That said, the chatty one is almost too obvious to be it, plus he's kind of cute, but at this point, I'll go with whatever a majority seems to think. As the days progress, I'm sure we'll learn how to do a better job of making this decision, but I'm not against making one today if everyone thinks similarly. *stares, muttering something about the pretty ones always being as dumb as that moss covered rock I boiled to make the soup* Flash her big ... smile ... apparently.

Lunch is served! I stumbled upon a nice side of, um, meat on the beach and have been roasting it all day. I can't go into the exact recipe or my competitors might get word and steal it, but I'm sure you'll like it. I pretty much had to use all the supplies we salvaged from the plane, but at least we have potatoes, onions and carrots to go with it. Today. Tomorrow might not be so good if we don't catch, find, or club someonething. Yeah, he is a cocky old bugger.

I didn't say we shouldn't have a leader, I just said that no one is automatically more or less qualified to do the job because of their positions. I should remind everyone of this: It basically means that the governor and coast guard are no better or worse at leading than anyone else. It's like we lost all of our abilities (aside from my fabulous cooking skills) when we washed ashore and those can't be held against us reasonably. So, for example, the inept Coast Guard can't be blamed for being inept, we just need to watch for people doing weird things, acting suspiciously, or trying to manipulate us to make bad decisions. Let's keep our wits about us, folks, we're probably going to be here for a while. At this stage, I see no reasonable vote either. Therefore, I cook! Moss covered rock is high in vitamins and minerals, you know!

I'll revolutionize the market once we get back home, and until then you can all feast on my experiments finely crafted recipes utilizing a combination of what we can scavenge, the corpses, and local offerings like potatoes and fish and hopefully sausages. Mmmm, sausages. I could really go for a big sausage right now. What? So... who wants to help me get the food and supplies together so I can put together a makeshift kitchen? Great, we've been found by the three stooges.

Anyone who would even consider doing this should think twice about the motives of the producers. It's not about presenting your hobby in a good and positive way, it's always about showing off what they consider weird. If it was meant to be positive, they would ask for couples who enjoy it together instead of setting it up for conflict and ridicule. That's not what you said when I asked.

Disney has already hinted that they want this to be the new PotC, which means sequels. The problem with the license, however, is that Disney is notorious for switching to other companies right in the middle of something. While no one cares, Dora the Explorer is a good example, first LEGO and now Mega Brands. That said, if the license holds, it could be really interesting to see what direction it takes. They've taken elements of all of the games to make this movie, so it would basically be uncharted territory for the future. What do you think they might do? Instead of just talking about it here, why not build it? For those who haven't noticed, we've not only suggested this but encouraged it by securing a very nice prize pool to reward winning efforts. Hmmm... That rushing air sound was probably a poisoned dart. Maybe we could try the first aid kit and treat it like a scorpion sting hoping that they used scorpion venom. I guess we could look around for a dart to confirm this or investigate the source of the blood. If she dies, I get first shot at her pockets! This is no time to be figuring out dinner.

Mine is too big. It's things I'm doing and links to things I want linked to (like the old billboard of doom almost) and the pictures themselves are small. I want a banner for PoP month in there, but that would push it over the line. If it could employ full html, it would be much smaller, plus I don't wan to risk it getting warped by people using ridiculously narrow resolutions (I've heard there are still people on 800x600... *gasp*)
