As it was written, "One day the Nizam shall rise again and bring upon the land a great disaster. Many will die as they attempt to reclaim control of the Sands of Time." This is that story. In it's loosest sense, this is a mafia game, but experienced mafia players gain very little advantage over the new players as this will not be quite like anything you've ever played before. The Rules of Play: A small number of you will be receiving a PM shortly. You are the Nizam. The rest of you will not hear from me at any time during this game. You are all free to use the local Potato Messenging system to any advantage you feel it may bring you. The game will operate on a day by day basis, with each game day lasting exactly 24 hours. During that time, all players may post in the discussion topic for that day in an attempt to gain information, create alliances, or simply deceive each other. Participation in the game topics is encouraged but not required. What is required, however, is a PM to me every night you live, detailing your 3 nightly wishes. Failure to send a nightly PM will not be pretty, but it might be amusing. For me. Who you plan to kill. This should be someone you believe to be on the opposing team from you. Assuming they aren't protected, you aren't blocked, and you live long enough to do it, they'll die in the night. Who you want to protect. This should be someone you believe to be on your own team who might be in danger. If successful, it will protect them from one kill attempt. That doesn't mean they'll last the night if multiple people target them. Who you want to block. This should be someone you believe to be on the opposing team from you. If successful, the actions of the person you block will be canceled or possibly altered. Don't be surprised if things don't go as you plan, there will be a lot of people doing a lot of things in the night, plus there are many outside factors that you can't possibly account for. Every day will be a surprise. The night will begin at exactly the moment the previous day ends. You will have 24 hours to PM your 3 wishes to me including the usernames of the players you wish to use them on. Be clear which wish is which, or you might just kill the person you were wanting to protect. At the end of those 24 hours, the next day will appear. This is how you will learn the effectiveness of the previous night (and whether or not you survived it). Ways to Improve Your Odds: PM early. Early wishes succeed more often than later ones. Have a PoP avatar to show you're really in the spirit of things. Participate in the day topics. Silence is not golden in this game. In the end, however, nothing is guaranteed. You may do everything right and still die. Please feel free to post a confirmation of your participation in this topic, but it isn't required. If you do, however, you just improved your chances. Add in a mention of your PoP style avatar, and you've done it again. Give your character a name and some background info in this topic (and if you're a sneaky Nizam, you can always lie), and look at that, you've improved those odds even more. Offer the host a bribe and you're well on your way to victory. See how that works? If we don't reach 50, I'll kill you all! no matter, we'll use what we get. I am a sucker for polybag sets, I always love them. That said, this one is exceptionally good and I sincerely hope it eventually shows up as a Brickmaster set or one of those many Target holiday editions you mentioned. I really hope it shows up somewhere! As it is, I missed the chrome Stormtrooper polybag already this year, I'd hate to miss this one... There are OCD polybag enthusiasts? Crazy people. This island runs red with the blood of the sane and the insane. And a psychopath. Geez. Next time I'll just sleep with the head of the production company and get a show the way everyone else does, I've had just about enough of this hard work and danger. Ok, so we had a fair night, really. The psychopath did us a favour and killed an insane, then the apparent loyal vigilante killed the psychopath. It's a shame he didn't get the insane killer who is still wandering the night with a hatchet, but at least things are getting a little clearer maybe. Unfortunately, that isn't helping me see what direction we should go in today, but kudos to the vigilante for seeing through crazy Cyril. Breakfast is served! Coconut waffles and a side of ... um, breakfast sausage.

Some of the suggested members have actually been interviewed, but for various reasons their interviews, pictures, or some combination thereof have gone missing and never been posted. It's complicated to explain, but largely due to a swelling EB News staff. Somehow, more people = less work. So yeah, like the kid says, we'll get things rolling again shortly. More or less. And in this case, less might be more! Nobody who asks is ever interviewed.

Make it 6 unable to access regularly. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the galley is temporarily closed for mechanical repairs. Hopefully it won't last more than a day or two, but I can't be sure. (A/C died and this quad core HATES 95+ temps)
