  1. Sandy! Shoot Chris with a tranquilizer dart. Not only is it nicer than letting him suffer, but 'dead' (inactive) weight should be harder for the little demon turtle to handle. At the same time, why don't all the men and Siegourney grab the demon by the shell on both sides and try to flip him on his back so he can't get up, exactly like the pathetic turtle shelled freak from hell that he is! Then maybe we can pry Chris out of his claws by trying to hack and yank off bony appendages (of the turtle, not Chris).
  2. He didn't buy them, we all know that. Matter of fact, he's going to admit it in his next post or I'm going to kick his megablocks. Now, let's keep an eye on the seller and see if they show up again, or maybe he divides them up and starts posting smaller lots of minifigs.
  3. *feels smug about his use of logic in the midst of crisis* CRAP! *resumes his attempt to use logic, but not so confidently this time* CRAP! CRAP! CRAAAAAP! Damn this illogical temple and it's illogical traps and ... and ... EVERYTHING! Since logic isn't working out well, I'd like to help cut Diesel a little.
  4. That's what she said... Don't get overexcited, that is not one of the potential prizes for this contest, it was just an experiment in the early planning phase of things and I decided it would make a nice 4th row. I can, however, assure you that the real ones are quite nice so hurry anyway.
  5. Soon! Sure! Why can't you upload pictures from your camera?
  6. No bumping unless you have to update something. Thanks!
  7. Is it too late for us to all change our votes? Seriously, that's some crazy megablocks behaviour. If it was designed to force a split vote, I'm not falling for it, but should we be right about Ellen, you're next.
  8. Happy Birthday Batty! I'd give you a tag but you've already got one. Shadows Away! (at least that's what I expect you think when I'm around... )
  9. Mmmm, babies ... demons ... what? After that, I'd like for a few of us to stand in position to keep the damn wheel from turning any further, yet not on any of those pesky spear openings. No turning, no more little surprises from the ceiling or other nastiness. While I'm standing there, I'd like a better look at whatever the apparition did, because it's as clear as mud to me.
  10. Exciting stuff, perhaps the gateway to the future, perhaps another dream, we shall have to see. If this "crap" works, it could be harnessed to eradicate those debts fairly quickly with good planning.
  11. We've had roast and fish so far, how vegetarian is that? I can't help that we're stuck with using local offerings to supplement the limited food and passengers we've scavenged from the wreckage. It isn't as if a nice Sacher torte washed up for after dinner, but at least we're well supplied with meat and fruit until someone rescues us.
  12. Yes, yes it was. Wish I had a better theory... Vote: Ellen Allison/Eskallon And now for dinner! It's a lovely fire roasted fish that I can't identify, glazed in a pineapple, coconut rum sauce then briefly lit to sear in the goodness. No, there isn't any more rum, this was all I could find. There are roasted potatoes though, and a nice salad of local greens that I think are safe. I'm pretty sure. Maybe skip the berries.
  13. Until they give me some reason to remove it. So, a well behaved winner could have a tag forever.
  14. All this voting and unvoting, especially so quickly, seems designed to confuse us. Confusion only helps the insane, so I'm watching all of you. Get it together people, the day will go quick, and if we suffer losses like last night, we're going to all be dead before we know it.
  15. So true! Seems like their way of saying, "stop surfing the net while at work", but that's just me.
  16. What is "it" in this case? What program?
  17. I have a lot of time to think while I'm whipping up the waffle batter. So good! I wonder if someone could find some different fresh fruit though. Bananas seems a little too ironic on an island of crazies. Seriously, if you follow the logic, two different groups end up together on one island and then we're told that there are crazy people in the group. We know that one killed that poor woman (the "I see crazy people" plot device). Theoretically, there could be a total of 2 crazies, one in each group, but sadly I expect more. All those murders alone point to it. Whatever the case, they had to pick a time when they could get together at once (I'm not really sure why they all had to arrive at the same time, but it can't be a coincidence that it happened). Which part of that wasn't obvious with a little thought?
  18. *serves up breakfast* Banana waffles with a side of potatoes! I agree to both points. As much as I hate to think that it could be someone I work with, statistically there has to be at least one, if not two crazies in the group. Being in the galley all the time, I don't really associate with the flight staff much, but there is almost no way a passenger could have tampered with the plane, so I am also looking at them. No, almost anyone couldn't have. We flew with a flight marshal who would have noticed anyone going where they didn't belong. The only people he didn't watch closely were the crew because they were allowed to go places the passengers couldn't. It seems pretty obvious that only one (or more) of us could have caused this crash. I don't like it either, but facts are facts. Oh, and why this flight? Why any specific flight? We have to assume that the crazies have coordinated their efforts so that it would happen when they were all aboard, and when Drake was on duty with the Coast Guard. This might have been the only time all of it came together, who knows?
  19. De-Classic-Museum-of-the-Absurd.com, thank you very much.
  20. Nice site, NewRight! One day I plan to open The Museum of the Absurd1 to showcase rare and unique parts, and it will be it's own website. If for no other reason than to have total control and not rely on the whims of faceless individuals in some corporate office in Minnesota2. I don't actually know that they are faceless, but they could be and we can't prove otherwise. 1 Name subject to change. 2 The specific state may vary.
  21. If I can't discuss the day out of the day topic, neither can you. (Whichever way it's presented, it was approximately the same proportion. Maybe.) Shut up! No talking about the day outside the day!
  22. It's certainly a lot of stuff. From the auction: "WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A 21 POUND LOT OF MINIFIGS AND MINIFIG PARTS AND PIECES..THAT'S RIGHT 21LBS..PLEASE IF YOU NEED TO, TAKE A SECOND TO LET THAT SET IN.................................................TIMES UP!!!!!THIS LOT IS ALL MINIFIG RELATED...I ESTIMATE THAT IT CONTAINS EASILY 15,000 TO 20,000 PARTS AND PCS..THERE ARE MINIFIGS FROM EVERY MAJOR BRAND IE. STAR WARS HARRY POTTER SPACE CASTLE BATMAN SPIDER-MAN INDIANA JONES, YOU NAME IT, IT IS HERE...THIS LOT IS INSANE..OVER THE PAST YEAR OF BUYING COLLECTIONS AND PARTING THEM OUT I HAVE ACCUMULATED THIS MASSIVE LOT THAT HAS BECOME OVERWHELMING AND I JUST DON'T HAVE THE TIME..THERE IS TONS OF HEADS ARMS LEGS WEAPONS HATS HAIR TORSOS, SO MUCH THAT ITS HARD TO EXPLAIN...IN THE PICTURES YOU CAN SEE WATTO BOBA FETT AND OTHER STARS FIGS..." I know I'd pay the current price, but it's going higher. I plan to watch it until the end, it should be interesting to see where it stops.

  24. I would tend to agree with this theory. That said, I would like to make an appeal to the neutral killer. I realise that right now you don't care who survives or who dies, but in the long run it is in your best interest to work with us to rid the island of the crazies. There is no way to be certain that they won't kill you as quickly as they'll kill us, but we have no desire to do that, it doesn't help us (as long as you aren't killing us). We need you to keep the balance in our favour because you count as being on our side. They will see you as just another person to kill as they try to overpower us. Please consider that as you make your decisions. It certainly makes sense, Mustafa Wyatt, but I'm not assuming anything about anybody yet. For all we know, people can catch insanity on this island, which means that none of us is safe.
