  1. LEGO related, of course.
  2. Yeah, you'd better do one, and a good one, or old Uncle Shadows will have to unleash his minions on you. Both of them.
  3. That's a much better title! You've got that right, bitch!
  4. Some of you people are seriously cracking me up here. This game will probably be over before day 5 of Eurogina shows up, so you could just put this one in your avatar and the other in your sig (but it's fine either way).
  5. Happy birthday, girls! He won't, he doesn't care that much for birthday topics, never knows what to say. Most Swedes are, you know.
  6. Sleep is for the weak, do you want me to tuck you in with a blankey and your plushie dragon, too? Night actions may be sent in at any time in the day cycle. If you sleep more than that, tough.
  7. Welcome to the Village of the Bloody Damned. At least that's what the sign said on the road to town. "Hardly seems like a friendly name," quipped the bus driver, but his 5 passengers were sleeping in the back and didn't notice. "I can't imagine why anyone would want to come to this desolate place, but as long as I'm out of here before dark, I don't much care. I guess it might be hard to say which is weirder, my passengers or this town, anyway." With that, he slammed on the brakes in front of an old inn. The sign on the inn read "Raven's Retreat" and depicted a rather eerie looking raven sitting atop a skull. "Just gets better and better. All right, you lot, time to get off, you're here!" The passengers, a rock group named "The Screaming Zombies", had been awakened by the sudden stop and were looking out the windows in awe. "All right, this looks fantastic!" "Yeah! Rock on!" "I need to pee." "Get off, maggot, ain't you got no manners?" "Shut up, you!" They were a lively bunch of weirdos, at least for now. After departing the bus and taking their luggage from the side storage, the group headed into the inn. The driver, true to his intent, drove off as quickly as possible. "Eh, what's his deal?" "I dunno, probably had to get to his ballet lessons." "Yeah, haha, ballet." Much to their surprise, they discovered someone even stranger looking than them at the front desk. "Welcome, curious friends" he groaned. Giving them their room key, he rang a rather large bell, summoning an even stranger looking bellman to take them to their rooms. "Come, this way. Look alive and stay together, I'd hate to lose you ... so soon," he chuckled. "There's a party in your honour, and she'll just die if we're late." The group looked at each other with growing confusion. "She? A party? Killer!" "Yes, that's the idea," replied the bellman, "I'm sure you'll have a frightfully good time." As the bellman left the group in their rooms, they met at their doors to comment on the whole situation. "Look, this place is even weirder than I expected, and I expected a lot, given the local stories." "What local stories?" "Oh, the usual, zombies and vampires and the spirit of Anubis unleashed from some ancient Egyptian relics." "Right, that stuff I'm used to, but these people are genuinely weird." "Of course they are, they invited us here!" "True..." Later that night, after a particularly filling meal at the local pub, the group slowly walked back to the inn. Everywhere they turned, they saw weirder and weirder 'people', if you could call them that. "This place is bizarre, and I don't even think they like us, why did they invite us?" As they reached their rooms, each one found a note warning them that the locals were dangerous and had only invited them there to kill them. "Kill us? Everyone's a critic!" "What do we do?" "I know! Let's dig through our stage makeup and disguise ourselves as freaks, just like the locals. They won't know who to kill and maybe we can eventually escape!" "That's a great idea!" And that's what they did. The 5 bandmates disguised themselves as locals and headed back out into the night to try to mix in without being detected. They had no idea what madness awaited them as the clock struck midnight, and neither do you. SIGN UP BEGINS NOW! If you wish to join this madness yourself, post your intention to play in this topic. Include a short biography of your spooky character. Remember, whether you're a local or part of the band, you'll need to make everyone believe that you're a local, so act and try to look like one. Extra points will be given to those of you who make the effort to look the part (change your avatar) and those of you who write some kind of creative backstory for yourself. At any given moment, the sign-up may end, so make it quick or you just might miss out. Once sign-up is over, you will receive notification of your alignment (town or member of the band) and your specific available actions for that night. They will not all be the same, nor will they be the same from night to night. THE GAME Each day will last 24 real hours. For 20 hours, you may discuss things in the daily discussion topic and send in your night actions. At the end of that time, I'll calculate just what you've done and post the results in time for the start of the next day. This will be occurring in real time and failing to use your actions might be very bad for your health. Don't sign up if you can't work with this schedule, participate in the daily discussions, and most of all, have fun. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
  8. That's the closest guess yet.
  9. The only person who looks stupid at the moment is you. Seriously. If you wanted to simply retract the request, you could have stated that instead of trying to delete it and then attacking someone who was replying to a staff request for more information about what happened. Work on the attitude, please.
  10. Uh huh. It's almost 300k. Try this version instead... (I've already changed it for you)
  11. Preemptive. You know me, always trying to make things foolproof in a world where fools are incredibly creative in their foolery.
  12. A quick note on name changes. You are only changing your display name. If your sign-in name is the same, it will not change, so you will still sign in using the same name you had previously, not the new one. Forever. Don't forget how the sign in name is written or ... you can't sign in! And then I'll eat your soul. Apparently it's my night to make random quick notes and eat souls.
  13. A note on animated avatars. We don't normally encourage them, even going so far as not allowing them most of the time. We're going to make a temporary exception during this contest since animation can really add to the quality of the results, but don't go crazy with it. I blame Rick and will make him pay for this. Just keep in mind that if you try making a whole movie or something in there, I'll eat your soul. Seriously. Nom nom nom. Tasty, tasty soul. Yeah, let's not go crazy here.
  14. I took care of both of you myself. As a general rule, if someone wants to change their name by adding much needed capital letters, you can still PM the staff and we'll probably do it without it costing you the yearly change, just don't be annoying about it and try to request anything else at the same time or you'll get a creative name change courtesy of our imaginations.
  15. That's really all you have to add to the subject? In the future, please try to bear in mind that replies should actually say something. Thanks!

  17. Best bounty hunter? Me. *shoots the topic dead* Did I mention disliking 'best whatever excluding whoever' topics?
  18. Best Jedi? That would be me. With almost no effort at all, I can silence this whole nonsense argument. Seriously... "best this or that excluding whoever" topics suck. Don't be a sucker, just say no.
  19. No they haven't, yes they should, and it's been discussed a bunch of times previously (though I'll be damned if I can find any of them). If anyone does, post it here and I'll merge the topics. Until then, carry on!
  20. If they happen to give anything special away, think of me and grab 2. Please? Seriously. Oh, and have fun, that's the most important part!
  21. Nice job so far, everyone! Well, except Rick. A retrofuturistic retelling of The Raven, perhaps? I like it.
  22. Yay, this rocks! So much left to index...
