For this day of Galactic Paranoia and the resulting night, all PMs should be sent to me instead of JLBlue, and I will be issuing the results of night 3, plus your additional future orders personally. NOTE: You get one picture today. Future days may get more pictures, but this is awork in progress and I'll do the best I can. Complainers should refer to the notes at the end of this post. Galactic Paranoia: Imperials, Day 4 Shadows of the Empire aka The Sith Hits the Fan Admiral Blaire assembles the team to prepare for a meeting with his superiour, a meeting no one was expecting, most of all, him. Admiral Blaire: "I am pleased to announce that Grand Admiral Volrik himself will be arriving momentarily to inspire you to greater heights, to lead you on to victory, to ..." The team: "tell us a joke!" Admiral Blaire: "... to tell you a joke! WHAT? NO! NOT A JOKE! I made the mistake of telling a joke once in his presence and he killed me." The team: "Killed you? How could he kill you, you're here! You're daft!" Admiral Blaire: "Well, he brought me back to life. Apparently, it was the best joke he'd ever heard." The team: "Tell us!" Admiral Blaire: "I ... well ..." *looks around* "guess it couldn't hurt ... Ok, so... a Jedi, a Sith, and a Hutt walk into a cantina ..." A tall, shadowy figure in a cape and eyepatch enters. Everyone is suddenly silent. (Handsome bugger, silly hat... ) Grand Admiral Volrik: "You're telling that joke again, aren't you?" Admiral Blaire: "I..." Grand Admiral Volrik: "It was a very funny joke, it both cost you and saved your life. Don't tell it again, you won't be so lucky." Admiral Blaire: "I..." *sits down* Grand Admiral Volrik: "I am Grand Admiral Tantis Volrik. You know that already. I have been Grand Admiral of this sector for a very long time and I am finally tired of wars. It took a while. Whatever the case, we are here to negotiate peace, and someone is working to stop that. If I knew who it was, I'd declare war on them immediately! Er, ahem. The bottom line is that I don't know if they are actually rebels or just troublemakers, BUT I WANT THEM FOUND." Admiral Blaire: "We're doing the best we can, sir." Grand Admiral Volrik: "Did I ask you? DID I? NO. SHUT UP AND SIT BACK DOWN." *Volrik waves his hand in Blaire's direction, toppling him over backwards* Admiral Blaire: "Sir! Yes Sir!" *Blaire gets up and dusts himself off, then quickly takes his seat* Grand Admiral Volrik: "Much better. Now, here's the situation. I know that there are 2 traitors amongst you, traitors who are looking to stop this peace. I also know that you've managed to kill 2 loyal members of your own team. You're clearly idiots. Sadly, you're the only idiots we've got available right now, so it looks like you'll have to do. I'm going to assign additional tasks to some of you idiots, I expect them followed. If you fail to perform these tasks in a timely manner, I'll shoot you myself. Don't think I won't, I've done it before." *glances over at the Admiral* Admiral Blaire: "Sir!" Grand Admiral Volrik: "Heh heh, I remember that Lt. Commander on Handlis 12, the one who kept forgetting to turn off the lights at the end of his shift? BANG. Lights out." Admiral Blaire: "..." Grand Admiral Volrik: "Ah good times. Well, that's all for now. I need to go take care of some more pressing matters, we just captured a lovely Twilek dancer, or at least that's what she claims to be. I'm going to find out. Personally." The team leaves the meeting, not quite sure what just happened, but fairly certain they need to get the job done, and quick. NOTE 1: ALL PLAYERS WILL VOTE BEFORE THE GAME DAY IS OVER ... OR DIE. Galactic Paranoia: Rebels, Day 4 The Return of a Jedi The crew shuffles in slowly, depressed by their lack of progress. Dayton Stern arrives a few minutes late without explanation and quickly takes a seat. Commander Blazer: "I've called you together this morning to receive a communication from Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, who has been made away of our situation and is prepared to offer assistance." *turns on the viewscreen, the image transforms from static to that of Luke Skywalker* Luke Skywalker: "It troubles me to hear that Jedi Widanko Fenk died while on this mission. His service to you was great, and his sacrifice even greater. His loss has left you without a connection to the force and made your mission seemingly impossible, but through the force, all things are possible. "I have given this great consideration and after consulting the Jedi Holocron, determined that one of you should be able to contact Widanko's spirit, which still roams those halls, to ask him to advise you in the correct path to follow. It is tradition for a Jedi to return to offer advice, and you certainly need it. That contact could be used to determine the loyalty of an already dead member of the team, or to investigate one that is still living. Use it wisely, for it is likely to be tremendously limited in duration. To determine who will make this contact, I ask for three volunteers. Those three should be pure of heart and freely willing to make this contribution to the team. At the point in which three have volunteered, you will be called back together to take a public vote to decide who will serve in this capacity. At that time, additional orders will be given to several members and the day will continue as normal. No other matters are to be discussed until the volunteers have been found and the vote taken. Failure to participate in this voting process could be seen as disloyalty and may have unfortunate results. I also understand that you chose to murder Ivy Shadowspark, the woman I almost married once. We shared many special moments together before she ripped out my heart and stomped on it. I don't know if she was loyal or not, but good job either way! I wish you had a holovid of it... That is all for now. I hope to hear from you soon. May the force be with you." *the image fades* Commander Blazer: "You heard him, get to nominating and voting, we haven't any time to waste." Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 3

Cranky. I'd have jumped under a carriage if I was engaged to you, too. I wish the two of you all the luck you deserve. And will need. -

Hmm, that does put things in a new light. Perhaps we could move dynamically to my cabin, or wherever you'd like, then get back to our game and hope our luck has changed. -

We were told it was locked away, then moved to the locker for safer keeping. You spent the whole time with the rest of us, then constructing your underpants-trap. If you know something that sheds light on the situation, share it, but as I recall someone saying previously, it isn't a good idea to go around accusing people without evidence, and so far, we haven't seen any. Maybe he is. Maybe you are. Someone is clearly either a liar or crazy. Since Herman isn't man enough to just share his evidence, would one of your others please do so and allow the rest of us to determine what he does or doesn't know for certain. Because you're an obsessed nerd who doesn't get around girls much, then falls in love with the first one to put you down, despite how clearly she's made it that she doesn't have any interest in your advances. Or maybe I'm wrong here. Eleanor, are you hot for Herman? Yet not enough to just say, "it's mine." I see. -

Yeah, seriously. It's a good thing I sleep on Australian time or I'd miss the best action. -

If he did anything with the knife, he must have returned it because I have just seen it safely locked away in the crew lockers, which are in the same room as the passenger lockers. I'll admit, he's a little shady, but I'm not sure anything is really up there. You know, if it's your knife, maybe you could prove that? I think your reaction to my speculation of whom it might belong to was a little out of the ordinary to the point of frantic, like you thought you needed to protect someone from suspicion. Are you worried about your dear Eleanor, since she was one of the three? -

Excellent. That seems to clear things up. I just needed to understand how things are positioned, it was a little confusing before, but now it's all straightened out. I think I'll dynamically move back to the dining car and rejoin the group until time for more food. Isn't that all we do here, chat privately and eat food? -
A similar example is the Adventurer's Yeti sold as a Wampa. Misleading? Definitely. Dishonest? Yeah, pretty much, unless the person doing the listing actually thinks that's what it is. I've seen plenty of "pirates" that were really other themes, but the person seemed to believe it. On the same note, however, I find lots of things that are poorly labeled in the opposite direction and have picked up absolute steals accordingly. I bought castle figures once for the jedi torsos and white ninja princess mixed in. It's just one of those things. If someone doesn't know what they are looking at, they shouldn't be buying. If someone doesn't know what they are listing, they shouldn't be selling. People do both. I look for the missed bargains and swoop in. Is that any more honest or dishonest than the person who mistakenly lists something poorly? I hope not, I'm not planning to stop.

I'll dynamically move along, and maybe you could show me the lockers on the way. That might clear everything up nicely. -

Then why were you specifically seen at the PASSENGER'S LOCKERS as opposed to the EVERYBODY HAS ONE LOCKERS? HUH? Or are you saying that Schmelt is lying? -

So you locked it in the passenger's lockers? Please, if you're going to lie, come up with a good one. -

Actually, he sort of answered part of it... apparently, only Eleanor has a locker, so he wasn't rifling through 'ours', but hers. Wonder what he was looking for in her things, and why he thought she had it ... -

Well, I do think we should organize a search, but I'm tired after that fiasco of a night and think I'll dynamically move back to my cabin, lock the door, and take a nap for an hour or so. When I get back, maybe we could just start at the back of the train and work our way forward. Or the other way around. Either way. See you all in an hour, get me if anything interesting happens. -

NOOOOO? REALLY? Well, hat's off to you for being so smooth and subtle. Damn fine job! You know, I bet if you hit on women more often, they'd pay just as much attention to you. It isn't really love until they get a restraining order. So you figured that by hiding the truth from everyone and allowing people to worry, you'd endear yourself to her heart. Yeah, that's quite the plan there. I'm reminded of a song that exemplifies the love and devotion you've shown toward your beloved. I love that song... They were out of bunnies. -

Too much talk of this 'voice' will get you locked away. And then what would we do for food? I would if I knew anything. As for the conductor, he's been suspicious since the start. I'm a little confused by "passenger lockers" as I don't recall getting one personally, and since we have our own cabins, I don't think I have one. I believe you mean crew lockers, and if so, that's something you might want to take up with the crew. We were told that he was putting away the knife and nothing more. Maybe he was looking for something? Perhaps one of the crew isn't to be trusted (or maybe it's just him, which still means one of the crew isn't to be trusted)... -

I shall dynamically move to eat lunch, then have discussions privately in a first come, first served order. Please take a number! Now serving, #1! -

Well, it was lovely speaking to you, Arin, I hope we can share the opportunity again soon. I shall now dynamically move over to the guys, who appear to be preparing for a game. Deal me in if you don't mind, but I'm not very good. If we're going to bet, let's keep it penny ante. -
Great job, a very LEGOified representation of a classic. Oh, and it's nice to see my decals could help out a little, they look pretty natural there. Keep up the great work, our resident Train Technician.

Well, the missing conductor mystery is solved, Herman has tried to get in Eleanor's unmentionables drawer (and mentioned them by name), and we're all scheming seperately and in small groups. Looks like another fine day of vacation. Say, Arin, would you join me for a bit of private conversation over breakfast? Schmelt, my good man, could you, perhaps, whip up some omelets? I'm as sick of these eggos as you are. ... before you go go, cause I'm not plannin' on goin' solo ... oh god, it's like a horrible flashback to last night. -

Tea, please, Schmelt. Thanks! Well, the idea of taking a tumble had occurred to me, but it wasn't Herman I had in mind. You know, for a nerd, you put up a pretty good fight. Hmmm... The conductor was seen opening a locker with his master key, then disappeared to his room without ever relieving Steve of duty? I think I'd like to dynamically move to his cabin to see if he's ok. I'd prefer to go with someone, if any of you are as curious as I am about his odd behaviour. -

Great, that's the spirit! Send me all of your notes and we'll see if we can get things back in order and moving smoothly. That's going to be the first thing fixed. And then some, teabiscuit. Are you girls really taunting the new co-host? (oh yeah, I haven't sent those out yet, either)
