  1. Good work. Out of all six designs I pick your number three. Very nice compromise. *wub*
  2. Gee man, you aren't making this easy are you? I'm sooooo sorry. :'-( I really am. ;-)
  3. Well, I am done anyway. Sorry about the delay. Guilt off! ;-)
  4. Actually that was a mistake. I thought for a while she was tied at the wrist, and then remembered otherwise. However I then forgot to delete what I had already typed. :-$
  5. Leia smiles seductively and points to her chained throat. The droid obliges and destroys the shackle.... and her neck as well. :'-(
  6. Welcome to Eurobricks. I hope you enjoy it here. *sweet*
  7. I pick design three, but I suspect you like the grill bricks. Thus, in order I prefer 3, 2, 1.
  8. Oh man! *wub* Today, you are my fourth favourite person in the world. (After my wife and kids...) I am not sure if you agree with my point, but I sure agree with yours. Every little bit of it. Very good post!
  9. Well it is Lego; there is nothing stopping you adding more parts. I generally do. Lego target kids with these sets so it is a case of an impressive front and a minimal price. I can't say that I agree. Personally I think Mecha are a silly concept that will never happen. They may look cool, but logically there is no reason why a Mecha is better than a aircraft or a tank. I wouldn't recomend trying to apply logic to any Mecha based warfare as it doesn't make any sense at all. Human size power suits maybe, but robots as big as buildings battling other robots; visually cool but total fantasy. This is in the same category as Gandalf the Grey. (I'm going to be abused now aren't I? 8-| ) For those that haven't seen these; My interest in these is zero. Just look at the heads and hands; you might as well just buy a model kit. Design wise they are nothing special either; they are so simple that you could almost build one from those photos.... For a top of the line set I expect more. Personally I am glad that Lego don't have this license. Licenses limit flexiblity and I wish that Lego would lose the Ferrai one and go back to making geared technic cars. Replacing Exo-Force with Gundam would be a mistake. I couldn't find these.
  10. Thanks for posting this. A point that I would like to point out is; I love that hair piece! Another reason to look forward to Indy Lego! *sweet*
  11. Yes. It is my next job. Possilbly tomorrow....
  12. I love the new Aqua Raiders line, but that doesn't mean that I won't tweak the designs so they are more to my liking! This started out as 7772, although there really isn't much left of the original design! :-P I didn't like how the cockpit wasn't even close to being water tight. Thus, using mostly parts from 4888 Ocean Odyssey, I expanded it. The double track design was my main goal, and that is why it became a lot bigger. I tried many designs, but until I started bulking it up more it didn't work for me. I love these little tracks; they look good and they roll well. (Unlike the large ones...) The landing platform for the water scooter from 7771 wasn't part of the plan, but it fit well. I plan to make some modules for the back as part of the mining operation. I love this submarine. I have been annoying my wife with it for a while going "ping". Fun stuff. X-D The original design was too short for my liking. I also removed the shooting thing, and attached it to the main body without pegs. This made room for the little robot, and I also made him a friend. The original prop placment really bothered me; especially since there is a clear shaft aft of the engine. It took me a while before I found a way to attach the prop and the rudder in a way that I liked. I also added forward hydroplanes and an airlock. (There is another door inside.) I'm still not 100% happy with the insides yet so no photos yet! Feel free to comment or to post photos of your own Aqua Raiders mocs. *sweet* Thanks for looking. :-P
  13. It doesn't change the fact that it is a great MOC. I look forward to the next Grave Stone "set". (Do you keep these together afterwoods?)
  14. Wow! *wub* I knew the story, and I knew about Link 2, but I didn't know that someone when to that much work to produce such an excellent essay on the subject. Thanks very much for posting this. *sweet*
  15. Errr... thanks for sharing! I often feel the same way. When I was building my Mad Max car I was at first avoiding using the windscreen piece that I did as someone else made a Mad Max car with it. However eventually I accepted that it was the best one for the job and got over it.... I think! I look forward to seeing your entry. :-P It's a great set isn't it?
  16. I like them! I like four best as well. I have only one tiny turbo and it is still in its bag, assembled. I probably will break it soon.

That is sooo cool! Thanks for sharing. *wub* I assume that landing pad is a print on the back of the box. If so were they all like that?
  18. Obi-Wan forgot to power off his lightsaber when getting out of the sub and it is shorted out again. Thus when he attempts the slice R4-P17 (bad mood) all he manages to do is show his intentions. R4-P17 proceeds to slice and dice the young padawan.
  19. Ah! But you forget; TLC bought all rights to the Kiddicraft block in 1981, thus TLC is still not a clone... X-D
  20. My pleasure. This is only my second raised plate so I still like them! :-P This set has been on my want list for a long time because of the windows. Me too. (We are almost the same age so it make sense!) I wouldn't be surprised if they do. I think there is a greater chance of a return to Paradisia like sets than Fabuland. I also think TLC is missing the mark with Belville.
  21. I hope you are right. To my embarrasment I am looking forward to seeing that set. I said to my wife a year ago "Well, don't worry. I can't buy more Lego anyway; I haven't got the room." I was wrong... :-$
  22. Thanks! Indeed. I wouldn't mind one of all! Many of the raised plates are too raised (I think the new one in the Police station and the Hospital is) but I think this one is perfect. I believe he is hoping to take the barman with him. X-D (He is one of Hinckleys characters on holiday...)
  23. I recently acquired 90% of this set, so I thought I would do a review of it. Please note that half of the Mini-figs are wrong, and there are some part substitutions. This is the only set that comes with this plate. There is a depression under the grey plates to the back. The pool depression can be easily covered by three quarter circle plates... which just happen to be included in this set. (Good set design Lego!) The stairs are old Fabuland ones, and have been used in a few other sets. This is the only one that has them in "ParaPink" however. What is the difference between "ParaPink" and "Pink"? Dunno... The big windows are in only two other sets, both of them DACTA ones! The smaller ones were in one other Paradisa set. The interior, while simple, works very well. I love the coffee machine. A cute car came with the set as well. The bird house is a nice idea as well. Once the current visitors leave I will probably be breaking this set. I wish Lego would go back to these sets as they always had some great parts in them.
  24. Sorry, one thousand seat cinemas just aren't my bag baby. :'-(
