  1. I will try to be in that one. Mad Max style Fire truck on!
  2. But you were so close, and I was one of the people who turned agains you... :'-( Will you ever forgive me? :-$
  3. That is very surprising. To be honest the biggest reason why I wouldn't buy this set is because considering for the parts in this set that I want it is over priced.
  4. After the City MOC probably...
  5. Wahaa ahhhhh ohhhh ahhhh ee. Yaa.
  6. Nooo! Not that picture again! The pain! *sing* The pain! *sing* :'-( I was young (no tusks) and I needed the money. :-P
  7. I'm the same. I don't go for models that can't move much and/or use unstable techniques. If something falls apart when I move it then it is time for a re-design! There have been so many times I was browsing through Brickshelf and I see something that makes me go "wow!". Then after clicking the picture I find that it was just a trick of the light. :'-(
  8. That line was so good it should never be forgotten; it was, after all, you and that line that caused the whole hacking thing... or was it me? I mentioned the muffins first after all.... but it was hinckley who first mentioned that mold... but.... On a related topic, it is a shame that cutlass_iz has gone quiet....
  9. That is really cool, and a good use of Bionicle parts too. *wub* I love the animation, although I am a bit unclear how the gun folds in. I had a quick look at your folder too. I love... You're pretty good. *sweet*
  10. The set, and the other Designer sets that came out with it (especially 4888) are incredibly well designed sets. I wish Lego would go back to doing sets like these as I loved the multitude of instructions and ideas. The last batch of Creator sets had zero ideas, even though I know several were made. :'-( Anyway, less whining, more review. The lion is the main model. His mouth doesn't fully close, but it does open more. The head works well from most angles. I love the dark orange bricks; great for rust... He is quite solid, but the joints take the weight well. The neck goes side to side and rotates, but doesn't go up and down. The body is built in two parts and pinned in the middle. With what is left you can make what I think is a hyena, a silly plant MOC... ...and what I believe is a vulture. There are also instructions for a few other models including a bat, boar and a snake... which I quite like. He can be built at the same time as... ...this cute little lizard. Overall this is a great set with an excellent blend of colours and pieces. I wanted it for steampunk potentials. *sweet* I hope you liked the review. Till next time....
  11. I read them three times, and none of the options were funny, so I picked option D. :-P
  12. Thanks everyone who voted for me. I had a really slow start but I have a chance now.... *sweet* Thanks! That way he can be squished over and over again; once is never enough for him! X-D
  13. I hope not. I'll have to get back to you in another 20 years; I could have a last minute coming out. :-/ You could have let Alex down a bit gentler than that. You can be such a b!tch. :-P That adds new meaning to "What are your projects?".... :-P
  14. I tend to find the person who makes the first post is also the creator of a topic. Could just be a co-incidence though... X-D
  15. Oh. I recall that... but this is my poll so you have got revenge on me instead. *wacko* Looks like I owe you one.... >:-)
  16. Now I want to know even more! :-P
  17. I was planning on voting for PaulC and his action packed creation, but I ended up voting for Alex54. Why? Well for one it has the rare red crab in it, but also becuase it has a cool story and I love the whack weapon. Additionally I think PaulC is overrated and gets too much attention. ;-) Thanks! :-$ I will remember this... Excellent.... next time I think I will pick a more deserving Whackee...
  18. I'll try and put something together this weekend. 8-|
  19. I would love some of those. Perhaps I should visit Hinckley's store.... Yes, I love those. Belville's are often done in the same way. Not a problem for me. For one, how do they know its for you, and two, why care? According to the poll there are a five odd balls here! It was why I separated the issue. For example I think Lego should bring out a version of the Nebulon-B (Rebel Medical Frigate) and make it look something like... ...but I probably wouldn't buy it. Just because you like an idea that doesn't mean you like it for yourself. *wacko* All this double think is messing with my mind! Maybe I should write to Lego and see what they say; I suspect they would direct me tho their unsolicited ideas policy.... :-P Oh. Something I missed I suspect. Why so obvious? You know what they say about people with big heads.... X-D Yeah! That's your job! ;-)
  20. Thanks for all the comments! *sweet* I'm glad that no one prefered the old crawler.
  21. Yoda in his prime versus an old out of practice Obi-Wan? No contest. Yoda wins by force throwing Obi off a tree to his death.
  22. *yoda* comes through again! I love this set... but it just costs too much for Australians so I will be giving it a miss. :'-( It is a shame as it has clams in it... 8-|
  23. Another great *yoda* review! *wub* If it wasn't for the unreasonable AUD price of both new sets I would really want this; instead I bought Bikini Bottom which is on its way to me now. (With an ice cube tray...) I look forward to the next review! *sweet*
  24. Great review of a great set! *wub* I look forward to more!
