Ultimate Star Wars Minifig Challenge Round 2
Siegfried replied to captaintau's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Jedi Jimmy is looking around, wondering where his ride has vanished to when Han in arctic gear turns up. Han tries a quick draw but he is too hot and Jimmy brings his saber up with time to spare. Han falls to the ground, his heart burnt to a crisp. -
Yes. I spoke to TLC just ten minutes ago and they said that Fabuland and Classic Space were both coming back. They didn't say when though. :-P

That's what you get for trusting a walrus-a-phobe. :-| When did he do this for you anyway? He PMed me 9 hours ago saying he was drunk; it wasn't around then was it? :-D I'll reserve that for the next Whack-a-fig contest. I'll need to buy a *yoda* now....
-
Did *yoda* say that? Hmmm, that means I would have made it in.... 8-| Ahh well, I will have to beat him next time. :-P

Thanks. *sweet* According to me there hasn't been a Lego tug boat since 1982! Mine isn't as cute as that one though! *wub* Indeed. Nice pussy. 8-| I look forward to seeing it. *sweet* Mine has a few odd colours (including a grey clip on the forward mast) and I might end up re-posting mine later. Hopefully we get as many entries as the Jar Jar and Whack-a-fig contests.

V-W-1E After this happened... ... it was clear that Sinnerton needed a tugboat... ...and here it is! This is the Arctic W, an ocean going tug... ...capable of over 25kts in the roughest sea states. Two powerful independent winches are fitted... ...and satcom and high powered radios are standard issue. The engine is highly reliable and easy to maintain. It has a roomy pilot house... ...and easy access to below decks. Luxury accommodation is also standard... ...with the bed being usable also as a two person couch... ...or any other suitible activity. Enjoy! :-P (I tweaked this and changed the photos. I think it is finished now. X-D )

I voted for Vader again. (I was sooooo close. :'-( :'-( :'-( . I must win the City Ideas Contest...)

Cool! Is there nothing you can't do well? Make a Technic model, go on! It is one of the few things I haven't seen from you.... -
Well... I think if you tried this it might work. I have had a few missing/incorrect parts over the years, and even a broken motor, and Lego has always sent replacements, often with a bonus. *wub* But please don't do this. Your greed will make it bad for other people who have honest problems. I would love an Imperial Gaurd too, but I think paying for it would be the correct way to get one. (I can't move topics, but when a mod sees this it probably will be.) I'm with you.
-
What do you mean? Do you mean via Lego service? If so, do you mean if you actually have the set and are missing the minifig, or do you mean you don't have the set and just want the minifig? Please clarify. (You are in the wrong section as well. I what way is this a MOC?)

Ultimate Star Wars Minifig Challenge Round 2

Qui Gon Jinn and Darth Vader get into an interesting debate about what the prophecy meant by "restoring the balance" and that with two Sith and hundreds of Jedi there was only one logical solution. Qui Gon Jinn says, "Well so there is Yoda, and you never tracked down Obi-Wan either". "Indeed", grumbles Vader thinking dark thoughts, "Thus with myself and Palpy, that is pretty darn even". There is a pause. "So what about you? What are you doing here? You have ruined my balanced universe, the one you claimed to have wanted." Qui Gon thinks about it, but then ignites his saber and beheads himself. "The balance has been restored." mutters Vader. "Now lets go and track down that Leia traitor...." -
I've seen this before but I think it is an incredible job considering the pieces used. I might have to try and BrickLink some of those curved transparent pieces...

I think this is a fake, but I hope I am wrong. (Why would Lego bring back the Technic men after all this time...?) -
The list price in Australia is $90. I saw it in Target today. It is a complete rip off if you ask me... :'-(
-
Well that is even more impressive then! Freeball on! ;-)
-
I see your point. It looks slightly out of place.. :-P

"Let's take him together", Obi-Wan says, before he realises he is alone. Ooops. Darth Tyranus cuts him down while he is still perplexed as to how this match ever started.... -
Wow! I have never seen this picture. I am considering making a hybrid of this design and the released one. I ended up breaking mine as 12 wide is too wide. :'-( Well this is a clear case of the finished set being better than the prototype. I haven't seen this photo either. If anyone has any clearer shots of the prototype 8421 I will love that person forever. What I am looking for in particular is details on the chain link in the boom. This picture... ...is the only one that I have ever found. The chain link is more obvious in the larger image. (1964x2608 picture in folder.)
-
Wow! I have been looking for some of those pictures for ages! I spent over an hour one time doing google searches and found little. If I just went to EB I would have saved a lot of time.... :-$
-
I think Wiggum was better, but I am not a Fantastic 4 fan. (...and that is putting it nicely!) This would have been a lot harder and you have done a great job. What was your source picture this time?
-
Nothing but the best for Hinckley. :-P Don't worry, it could be worse. I regret not buying Cloud City and the Technic Backhoe for half price a few years back. :'-( *wacko*
-
You are more generous than me. :-$ It's mine! mine mine mine! What a surprise! X-D It was part of a package tour. They should be in Sinnerton now. :-P

Oddly she still visits, but no longer posts... cutlass_iz? cutlass_iz Heeeeellooooooooo! Caaaaaaaannn youuuuu heeeeeaaaaaar meeeeeee?

I sort by Technic beams Technic pins and gears Minifigs Minifig accessories Function pieces (such as click joints and turntables) Modified pieces (such as clips) Then by colour I then subdivide as needed. For example minifigs used to be stored with the accessories.
