  1. Great review, cool comic. *wub* I give the set a four, and I will go and buy it now as I am missing many of those parts.... oh it's not for sale? Off to Bricklink then! :-D
  2. I liked the old Technic men; I try to modify every Technic set I get so it can be manned. (The bulldozer was surprisingly easy.) But I agree that customisable ones would be great! *sweet*
  3. I was going to ask "But what big MOCs?", and then I decided to instead check you MOCPages to save you the time. ;-) From what I saw there I say; more big MOCs! :-D (I like the King's Keep but I never got around to commenting on it last time.... :-$ )
  4. But the old one was far more swooshable! *wub*
  5. My pleasure! I was considering using MOCpages for a while, but now I think not...
  6. It's because I care! *wub* The question is, what apects of my stalking don't you know about.... 8-| *sing* *sing* *sing* *sing* *sing* *sing* *sing*
  7. Yes. Don't get me wrong though; I agree with you. But I have never got the whole MISB thing anyway. :-D
  8. Pricetags? Don't some collectors think that tags increase the value? ;-) A friend of mine has that set and I keep hoping that he will sell it to me for some silly price. (Not likely; he recently bought the Death Star!) It is a true beauty.
  9. The question though is; "Is that all we are going to get?". I hope not. Assuming there is a 08 flagship, I think it will be an IR car.
  10. Seriously, you need to raise your price. I would happily pay up to $100 USD for this set today if it was just complete without box or instructions... Why must it be MISB? To get an idea of what you need to be prepared to pay look here and here.
  11. I'm only a wee bit jealous... I have a question for you then; why do you mostly make little MOCs?
  12. Me too! *sweet*
  13. Well that was't what I expected! :-D Very interesting idea for the walrus' and I like the tree. *sweet* My one gripe is; do the mutant walrus' actually have bigger heads? Overall they seem smaller than the standard head.... As for being the bad guy, it is all a matter of perspective! :-P Revenge on the humans!
  14. Posted as well. Please everyone, join in! Link here!
  15. Are you referring to the boom or the stabilisers? If you mean the boom, no. I have two of those pieces in total! Not enough for a crane.
  16. It matters to me! *sweet* FFVII is probably my favourite as well, but it is very hard for me to make a logical decision on that as it was the first Final Fantasy game I have played. (Another favourite game for me is Homeworld.) As you have probably heard it is a first person shooter. The story as decent (better than FFXII IMHO), and the movies are beautiful (also better than FFXII IMHO). Some of the fights (Rosso) I found really hard, others I found too easy so I personally thought the game was a bit flawed. Overall I liked it, but I haven't played it a second time. You should be able to find it cheap now...
  17. 8448 I tend to count 8466 as the last though. But yes, a Ferrari supercar wouldn't bother me either, but as long as they have to put form over function it will be hard to achieve the same functionality. The lack of suspension in the new 8145 did perplex me though as it shouldn't have been that hard to fit it in, but all it has is steering and an engine.
  18. :-D :-D ...and that is one of the few that I have missed! :-| I have played; Final Fantasy III on the DS Final Fantasy IV on the DS (GBA game) Final Fantasy VII (At least 5 times!) Final Fantasy VIII (Playing that again at the moment) Final Fantasy IX Final Fantasy X (At least five times!) Final Fantasy X2 Final Fantasy II Final Fantasy 7 Dirge of Cerberus Final Fantasy Battle Tactics (Didn't finish this one) Parasite Eve (This was hard to find as it wasn't released in Australia....) Parasite Eve 2 (Didn't finish this one either as I didn't like it) Six is one of the few that I have missed as I have never seen if for sale. :'-( I was lucky enough to buy a re-issue of FFIX two years ago. I will have to try harder. I might even try alternative sources.... 8-| I don't need any help to whip your ar5e.... :-P
  19. Welcome Toe! *sweet* Any chance of posting some pictures of your layout?
  20. Ahghghh! Another Belgian! *sing* *sing* *sing* . Err... welcome to EuroBricks!
  21. Any chance of you posting those pics here?
  22. Has everyone seen these? I love the cinema interior. Oddly I thought it wouldn't actually have a cinema inside... *wacko* Via BrickJournal
  23. Fair point. Looking at the dealers catalog it shows the switch function. Even so, I wasn't expecting a power rotate and hence I was pleased when I found it had the function. Aren't we all? :-P I doubt it. I suspect that as long as Lego have the Ferrari license it will never happen. But I want to be wrong!
  24. I've been meaning to reply to this for over a week! :-$ Well, that is actually one of my design philosophies! I think that it is acceptable for a transport or a larger ship combat ship to just re-orient and then use the main thrusters, but for a fighter that would mean you could lose a target at the same time. Afterall, Impartials cannons only rotate and thus the ship has to be roughly facing the enemy to be able target it. I could have used vectoring thusters, but I wanted to save that design for the other side. The main thrusters will be replaced in the "finished" version, and possibly the directional ones as well. I don't mind them, but I still haven't thought of an equally small design to replace them... I'm not sure anymore... *wacko* Remember that this is 95% a space fighter designed to dock in zero gravity so a ladder isn't really needed. However, I must admit that I was planing on adding a ramp in the back but had trouble fitting it in. :-$ As for Luke ladder, that is a mystery. I suspect it was in the bottom stowage area, and Yoda uses the force to put it back in there before he flies off! :-P More a mystery though is how X-Wings have incredible endurance and yet can out-maneuver most TIE fighters... :-D But it is supposed to be blocky! Based on my own thoughts and peoples comments I have decided to make Impartial more blocky! At the moment it looks like it was made by someone who just got his first big curve pieces and decided to make a ship out of it.... :-$ The problem is that I have made the top curved, the bottom curverd that he front, but nothing else. This in hindsight was a mistake. By the time I have finished it will look like a flying brick! ;-) Thanks everyone for your comments. *sweet*
  25. I agree. While Mad Max is probably the best known version, it doesn't mean it has to be that same as that, or anyone elses idea of it. To me it's like sword and sorcery fantasy in that anything goes! :-P Should I be scared?! 8-|
